Netflix not making a third season of this show is a crime. This was the best show.

– On the surface, the crimes appear random, but I’m not sure he’s the madman he makes himself out to be. There’s just enough pattern to show intention. – He always shot at women, or women in the company of men. – And when he shot at couples in cars, he always shot at the passenger side. – That was used to support the “random” argument. It’s the side closest to the sidewalk. No planning, no strategy. Just shoot.

As an aussie, this is actually realistic

Sure sex is a good thing for some people, but serial killers.

Second chapter: WSK (Women Serial Killers)
"Many of us consider women incapable of being serial killers, because we always associate them with images of maternal sweetness and innocence."
Message in a Bottle

An AU where Bedelia refuses to be Hannibal's therapist. When he insists, she educates him on the benefits of journaling. That very night Hannibal writes his first message, rolls it up, ties it with a ribbon, places it into a bottle, and flings it into the sea during his morning run. Then he just so happens to do it the next night, and the night after. What's the drawback to a little self-therapy? Besides, who else would spend the better half of their weekends cracking a World War Ally code? Especially one with Hannibal's own twist?
Chapter 1: Sunday Mournings
Chapter 2: I Can't Buoy-It

“Ugly people kill people all the time. But when pretty people did, it got attention.”
Satan more or less
The best serial killers are those who kill indirectly for profit, fully aware of the likelihood.
The american pharmaceutical industry is not only creating a gigantic drug addiction wave, but also a rather large serial murder of their customers.
Wow greed is one of my favourite sins, maximising profit at the expense of others I think is Christian appreciation.
The problem with the question is things. any engineer could answer the question with improvements in user-usability.
And any serial killer with:
As die-hard serial killers, we choose to stay at home, and the world is a better place.
Our minds are filled with ten voices, one urging us to kill, and the other nine playing Tetris music. As long as that's the case, everything is fine.

One can contribute to the betterment of the world from an individual perspective by remaining at home.
It is our contention that this represents a comprehensive solution to all conflicts occurring outside the domestic sphere.

today's incoherent nap thought is that The Serial Killer is really some type of lichen. which is to say: it requires NOT ONLY a person who engages in the behavior of killing other people in a specific way. it crucially is an interaction between that person and social, cultural, etc concepts, media reactions, constructs about The Ultimate Criminal, & mental illness/trauma/cause & effect.
it's an actually one of the best examples of a construct that's SOOO specific to a certain time & place and yet we don't see it like that because it's OUR time and place (broadly). but it's so important to see that The Serial Killer is a lichen. because it exposes almost everything else that is that too. who among us has not had a conversation about prison abolition which drags out this concept as some kind of proof that Some People Ontologically Need To Be Removed From Society! who along us has not witnessed people try to come up with some concrete list of Red Flags that someone may at some point BECOME The Serial Killer despite the fact that someone fundamentally hasn't murdered someone until they engage in the behavior of murdering someone?
YOU KNOW?
it's a lichen. it's not one thing. it's not. ... you know. The Serial Killer is not a guy. it's a bunch of stuff in the shape of a guy.
this post brought to you by all of the many distressing rubbernecking True Crime podcasts that spotify keeps fucking advertising to me
some of yall don't understand what human rights mean and it is legitimately worrying how some of you think that if a person is 'bad' enough they should have their human rights taken away
Stop romanticizing real life Serial killers and Rapists. That shit is disgusting and disrespectful to the victims. Please get help.

The Role of Fantasy in Sexual Homicide
ALL of the murderers interviewed by the FBI, during their Criminal Personality Research Project, had compelling fantasies where they could control their world.
They overcompensated for the aggression in their early lives by repeating the abuse in fantasy, but this time, with themselves as the aggressors. Fantasy is defined as a happenstance unattainable in normal life. “Normal” people learn to accept social control and moderation as limits on their behavior. The deviant person, having had very few true restraints on his behavior since childhood, believes he can act out his fantasy and that nobody will be able to stop him.
The offender’s commitment to the fantasies deepens as he becomes a loner in adolescence, subject to the onset of puberty and sexual arousal. Aggressive, and with a feeling of having been cheated by society, he may channel his hostility into fantasies, which are characterized by strong visual components, and by themes of dominance, revenge, molestation, manipulation, and control. The other person is depersonalized, made into an “object”.
Deviants feel the sexual urge without having learned that it has anything to do with affection.
The cognitive mapping process is almost complete by now, It is the development of thinking patterns that affect how the person relates to himself and to his environment, it determines how the individual gives meaning to the events that happen in his world.
He views the world as a hostile place. He becomes almost incapable of interacting properly with the outside world, because his thinking patterns are all turned inward, designed only to stimulate himself in an attempt to reduce tensions, which only reinforces his isolation: a loop has developed. The effects of his antisocial acts (i.e. cruelty to animals and other children, arson) become incorporated into his fantasies, which are pushed to a more intensively violent level.
More retreat from society follows, and, eventually, so do more experiments with actualizing the fantasies
After rehearsals, and minor attempts at acting out the fantasy -all it really takes is a stressor for him to try and make the fantasy a reality.
do homework: ❌
search up cases on serial killers and why they act the way they do: ✅
One of the things that intrigues me, is that what goes through a murders mind? Like what makes them think what they’re doing is okay? What pushes them to kill? How did they find their motivation? Do they ever stop and think about what they’re doing? Some must right? And how do they choose where to dispose of the body’s or do they just leave them there. What makes them choose the weapon they chose? Do they regret it and stop? Or do they just keep on going until they die or get stopped with no regret? How do they feel when they get caught? Or when they see what they did on the news?
you’re a serial killer who is unknowingly on a date with another serial killer. You go back to their place and things get… interesting.
You’re an exceptionally skilled assassin, doing an interview on your deathbed. Your calling card is making a homicide look accidental or natural. You’re known only by your code name: 20-16
so my sister once went on a sleepover and watched open house (it's a horror movie) and basically its about a serial killer who lives in the basement of this family's house and eventually kills them all.
naturally i'm terrified and i thought there was a serial killer in our basement and so to combat this my brain created Steven the Invisible Telepathic Friendly Serial Killer that lives in my basement and every time i go downstairs i say hi to him in my head so he doesn't get lonely

David Fincher gets me.
