In a word full of MCU and Disney that pop out a sequel that don’t add anything to the story just cause it will make them money. Furiosa is just what we need.
Like many people my first introduction to the Mad Max franchise was fury road. There’s nothing i can say about fury that hasn’t already been said it’s fucking amazing. But when I first watch the movie I felt like I was missing something. Like I don’t see the previous movie and I didn’t have the emotional connection I was supposed to have. Years later I went back and watch some of the older films and they all great for they own reasons but the feeling don’t go away that I was missing a important part of the story.
And story telling wise I love that was the direction they went for fury road, it really gives the impression that all of these characters are real people and are just trying to make it through the next day. But Furiosa… it just scratches that itch.
Now I’m rewatching fury road and I feel like I’m watching it for the first time again it’s amazing. Furiosa story needed to be told and i am so grateful I got to hear her story.

Got a call, I answered.
Lady saying someone has 'hacked' our Internet ('WiFi ip'), "okay" .
Get asked to check the motem, "why?" 'because your Internet has been hacked and the modem is connected to the Internet' "I get that but why would being hacked show up on the modem".
This goes on for a bit 'til she gets too flustered, then she sends me 'up to a higher technichan' (pfft).
He does his speel and I ask the same question, he just talks in circles and doesn't answer.
'Someone over seas has hacked your ip and is using your Internet' "what country? Where are the people who are using our Internet?" 'they are in queensland' "that's in our country though" goes on for a little.
'They are hacking to get your information' "my information or my parents?" 'yours' "oh" blah, blah, "I would've thought that they would want my parents information, they won't get much from me, they'd get a lot more out of my parents" '... How old are you?' "I'm a teenager" (I'm not) 'that explains why your a smart arse' (rude) 'can I talk with your dad' "sure" pass the phone to dad.
