Botswana ist ein weites Binnenland mit einem Umfang von circa 582 000 Quadratkilometern. Zwei Drittel des Landes bestehen aus der Kalahari Wüste. Sehenswürdigkeiten sind unter anderem der Chobe Nationalpark, das Moremi Wildtierreservat, das Okavongo Delta, die Linyanti Sümpfe, die Makgadikgadi Pfannen, das Zentralkalahari Wildtierreservat, Tuli Block und der Kgalagandi Transfrontier Park.

Botswana is a vast land-locked area of approximately 582,000 square kilometres. Two-thirds of the country is covered by the Kalahari Desert. Places of interest are the Chobe National Park, Moremi Wildlife Reserve, Okavango Delta, Linyanti Swamp, Makgadikgadi Pans, Central Kalahari Game Reserve, Tuli Block and Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.

Graf Hans Bogislav von Schwerin hatte 1914 den Architekten Wilhelm Sander beauftragt, das bekannte Anwesen in Windhoek zu bauen. Aus Liebe zu Margarethe von Heynitz nannte er dieses "Heynitzburg". Die Familie Raith hat diese im Jahr 1994 gekauft und zu einem der führenden Hotels in Namibia aufgebaut.

Count Hans Bogislav von Schwerin commissioned architect Wilhelm Sander in 1914 to build the well-known estate in Windhoek. For the love of Margarethe von Heynitz he called this "Heynitzburg". The Raith family bought the castle in 1994 and turned it into one of the leading hotels in Namibia.

Monkeyland: Auf dem 12 Hektar großen bewaldeten Anwesen leben Primaten Spezies, außerhalb von Käfigen im offenen Gelände. Zwar sind es „nur“ 11 verschiedene Arten, aber insgesamt wohl rund 600-700 Exemplare. Täglich werden 250 Kilo Futter verteilt. Höhepunkt der Tour ist die 128 Meter lange, schwingende Hängebrücke.

Monkeyland: Primate species live on the 12 hectare forested property, outside of cages in open areas. There are “only” 11 different species, but a total of around 600-700 monkeys. 250 kilos of feed are distributed daily. The highlight of the tour is the 128-meter swinging suspension bridge.
