“You need to wake up!” She yelled at me. “This is reality… people go behind people’s backs all the goddamn time! Get used to it! I helped you through this dark path you were going through, now you need to help yourself.” She breathed out.
I wanted to rip my hair out. Yes, She helped me feel my way through the darkness… She was the beating heart, that guided me. I never could tell when our journey will end…
but now it might end with her walking out on me. I know I needed a new start, and I thought this was my best bet. Leaving my mates in the middle of a tour… I never thought about leaving, but I did…
All management ever did, was tell me that I was too young to understand. They say I’m caught up in a dream.
“Your life will pass you by, if you don’t open your eyes, Zayn!” She said. I looked up at her. “Well, that’s fine by me. I’m tired, of management telling me what to do. I’m tired… my body is ready to give up… maybe on everything” I said.
“You’re older… You’re wiser now Zayn.” She said. “I know… All this time, I was trying to find myself.. but I didn’t know I was lost” I spoke…
I rub my face. “Do you even know what it’s like? It feels like you’re trying carry the weight of the world.” I said, looking up at her. “I’ve only got two hands…. I can only do so much… and people don’t understand that…” I said. “I wanna do so much more… Heck, I’ve already seen the world… But I wanna take it all in…. and not have to rush to the stadium, and perform. I wanna sit on a balcony, with the one girl I truly love, and spend the rest of my life with her-” “You mean Pierre?” She cut me off.
“Look, I-” “Save it Zayn… I’ve heard enough bullshit today. I thought, you changed. But now… I see…. You're so blind… And that’s what makes it so sad. I don’t have any plans for the rest of my life… What are you going to do?” she said. I hear her sniffle. I knew she was crying…
I wish I could pause this moment. We both were silently crying…. I know I’m not afraid to close my eyes. Heck, life’s a game for the both of us.
But I never thought love was the price.
“I’m leaving” she said quietly. I looked at her. She was so beautiful… Why didn’t I see it before? This entire time, I fell in love with my best friend… Why didn’t I see it before.
“Y/N.. “ I trailed off. She grabbed her keys. “No, I’ve had enough… call me… when you’re not like this.” she said.
Then she was gone….
She walked out on me…
Forever.

Imagine if someone made a meditation video that was like 8 hours long so people would fall asleep to it, but then a few hours in Rick Astley's Never Gonna Give You Up started playing so you'd wake up in the middle of the night just to be rickrolled.
