can we deromanticize kissing or are we still too deep in amatonormativity for that conversation :/ ?
I didn't come out as Aegosexual/romantic for two reasons.
(the bigger part) I didn't know about aegosexuality/romanticism when I came out and
I don't think they fully understand asexuality/aromanticism, and I didn't want to confuse them more with what (in my opinion) is one of the more confusing microlabels
I'm thankful that they did accept me, but still, I don't want to try to explain that I do feel sexual/romantic attraction, but I can't be a part of the relationship in a sexual/romantic way.

They’ve got a big hammer for the Reciprosexuals and some gauntlets for Recipromantics. This guy is pretty great with their weapons, they don’t look likely to use them though...
The colours where so fun to balance, such pastel tones work really well together :0

Whoooo! New A-spec Wolf designs!!
There's so many things I want to finish up recently, but as pride month is coming closer I thought I'd redesign all my A-spec wolves in preparation.
Practising differentiating characters from one another using face and body shape, I was pretty successful! I used different wolf species to guide the basic shape of each of them.
I tried matching the old designs colours with the wolf species. Maybe I’ll swap what body type/species they all are later, I do love changing my mind! p:

Okay so since i realized very little people know about aromantic orientations other than romance repulsed aromanticism, demiaromantic, and a few others, i’m gonna start showing yall some other ones so that maybe you can finally find something that describes you <33
Starting off with mine (because literally i waited YEARS until i figured out it was a thing)
Recipromantic
Recipromantic is a romantic orientation in which a person does not feel romantic attraction (for some, it may be VERY little though) unless they know the other individual is romantically attracted to them first.
Example: someone confesses to you, and you didn’t feel like dating anyone before, but suddenly you really feel a strong connection to them and some form of romantic attraction begins to form.
Long story short: you don’t fall in love unless someone else is in love with you first and you know they’re in love with you
Happy pride month to all of my religious queer/trans people out there. We’re just as important, just as special, and have many important experiences that the world needs to hear. Don’t let anybody tell you not to shine too <3
This is a bit of a vent but nothing heavy, also some love for my aro pals all over the world <3
I hate when i’m talking to someone and they go “you’re aromantic and you still have a partner?!”
And then it goes into either:
- I’m not actually aromantic
-I’m a horrible person for “leading my partner on”
-I’m “proof” that aro people “should still date”
Like listen, buddy, i feel like almost no romantic attraction. And in order for me to even FEEL that romantic attraction, someone has to confess to me and even then it’s not like i’m just gonna magically gain feelings, but the security of knowing someone else wants me makes it a bit easier to feel those things and to want a romantic relationship
Aromantic people owe it to nobody to be in a relationship. They don’t owe it to anyone to feel any romantic attraction at all.
And most important of all, if an aromantic person is/isn’t dating someone, don’t butt your head into their business

Not your business (and we’ve talked about my aromantic orientation and they’re perfectly fine with it) <3
My love for my partner may not be butterflies swarming in my chest, but when i’m in their arms i feel safe. When they’re beside me i feel at peace. I love talking to them and they mean more than most other people do to me, in a way that friendship doesn’t work with.
And to the rest of my aro pals out there, people are always gonna be out there to say something like “you’re not aromantic enough” or “you’re too aromantic”, don’t listen to people like that please don’t waste your time on shit takes like that. You know yourself best and you’re perfect just as you are.
You aren’t broken.
You aren’t manipulative.
You’re not confused.
You’re not too young or too old to know.
And if nobody else supports you, you’ve got a major community of aromantics all over the world all over the spectrum that are there and support you
I’m aroace, but like maybe not in the commonly known sense. Like i would love a non sexual relationship/qpr with another trans person (including nonbinary). I’d like to possibly have a cute platonic wedding and have a family. I’d love to have a cool career and support my family but also enjoy what i do. I’d like to live with someone who wants the same things i do. Someone who’d be okay with my religion. Even better— someone who wants the things i do AND has the same religion as me. I’d love to create a safe space in communities for all of the queer/trans community, but especially for aros and aces. I’d love to have someone who’s fine with us not having sex but knows i still love them. To share my life with someone platonically because even if i don’t really feel romantic attraction, i can still love in other ways. Someone to prioritize and be happy with.
I do honestly have a lot of hope for my future, and i do truly believe that i’ll be able to have the life i dream of one day. It may sound boring or too traditional, but honestly i think it’d be super neat
