How many statues of liberty do you need to get to the sun?
The statue of liberty is 93 m tall with plinth. Without plinth it’s 46 m. The distance to the sun is around 149,6 million km. That means it would take 1.608.602,151 statues of liberty with plinth or 3.252.173,913 statues of liberty without plinth.

Notes: I asked for John being an asshole, and this fic delivered. There are many fics where he is horrible or does horrible things, but this one is definitely the crowning champion. Bobby and Sam are incredible in it, though.

But then he rushes to the bathroom and braces himself on the edge of the sink to look up into the mirror, and it’s right there. Black streaks and blotches along the edge of his jaw, dark like ink. Marks like the imprints of knuckles meeting Dean’s chin. It takes him a little while to fully realizes what this means. That his soulmark is there, for everyone to see, right on his face, impossible to hide.
That his soulmate’s first touch will be a punch to Dean’s face.
Notes: Super cute but slightly frustrating and the plot is a tad thin.

God, it was disgusting how in love they were. At first, Sam wondered when they were going to figure it out for themselves, but now he just wondered if they would figure it out at all. It had been years. God, Dean was so stupid sometimes. A "Profound bond," could you be anymore obvious than that? Dean was either super oblivious or just an idiot. Probably both. Definitely both. What Sam didn't know, however, was that Dean and Cas were already aware of their feelings for one another and in a relationship. They were just trying to figure out how to tell him. Apparently, a terrible injury on a hunt is what would ultimately reveal their relationship to Sam, just not in the way any of them would have wanted.
Notes: Sam is such an unbelievable mood in this.

Notes: I know that some people like them, and there certainly are a lot of them, but this reads like an angsty, emotionally repressed fic usually reserved to the depths of Wattpad, which you find at 3am and wonder whether the author is okay. It was fine, but only just.
So, there you have it. (Probably) everyone’s least favourite Winchester, being a complete dick. You’re welcome.
I hate when i find a movie and it’s a good movie and it becomes a favorite of mine and i scroll through the tag on tumblr and i see smut.
Like..a character would be a literal victim of sexual violence or abuse and ppl are thinking about having sex with them. Maybe it’s normal and i’m just weird but i think it’s weird ppl feel the need to sexualize every single character they get their hands on bc they’re cute or ‘hot’.
For example
(There’s female characters too but it’s mostly male characters who always happen to be teens that people sexualize bc they’re ‘hot’)
I just think it’s weird we’d see a character get sexually abused/getting raped or preforming a sexual act they don’t want to do. And y’all just be like “omg they’re so hot i want to blow their back out/i want them to blow my back out😝”
Like we just seen this character get touched by a family member when they were a child, forced to do a sexual act because they think they need to (or however you spell it but you know what i’m trying to spell), beat up and raped not only did they get beat up and rape but they also had a sexual ‘relationship’ with a grown man when they were eight years old, and ppl are thinking about fucking them. Did we watch the same movie/show? Why do people feel the need to sexualize every. single. character. they can. Find a character that’s a adult and not getting abused every minute in the movie/show, i swear to god it isn’t a hard thing to do. at. all.
There’s nothing wrong with thinking the character/actor is cute but let’s be respectful here, and i’ve realized that people just sexualize every(mostly male) character just because. And i think it’s weird, like just enjoy the movie and character. But again maybe i think it’s weird because i’m weird and i don’t understand (i’m saying this in sarcasm if anyone was confused).
But at the end of the day It’s not gonna kill you or your family to not sexualize a character that happens to be a minor and a victim, and the “i’m the same age as this character” is annoying bc minors can sexualize other minors, and it doesn’t make it okay at all.
If you want to correct me or make a point, feel free to i don’t care but if you say something i think is stupid, you will start violently coughing.

Random stuff:
- Darry has a bunch of parenting books hidden in his closet
- he also used to like ice skating??
- Steve once threw up on Daly's foot, and then had to buy him a new shoe

- speaking of which, Soda was the one who asked Steve out
- Steve cried
- Dally's favorite color is ocean blue
- Dally cannot swim
- Steve is so proud of his tattoo and will bring it up at least twice in almost every conversation
- Pony grows up to be a literary critic
- he's good at it tho, so it's fine
- Dally canonically hates kids
- Johnny pretty much stays in Soda's old room whenever he goes over to the Curtis'

- Steve's father makes fun of him for his teeth almost constantly, and Steve smiles with his mouth closed now.
- Two-Bit is chubby, and extremely insecure abt it.
- hates being in pictures, mirrors, taking showers, etc.
- Pony gets severe depression after Johnny dies
- it gets so bad Darry took him to an actual professional physiatrist

how do ypu contend with the silence you find at the center of your soul? how do you escape the blood soaked trenches of your flesh? asking for a friend.
i do not think that the center of my soul is inherently a silent place. many if not all of the poems posted here so far where written during dissociative episodes. if anything the words i've written are a cry out in the dark, or a life raft to cling too in those moments. as if to say, i am creating art from this, therefor despite it all, i am real.
funny that you, (and i think many others), think my soul is quiet. I am screaming. Always.
as for escaping the blood soaked trenches of my flesh, i have some advice that took me almost 10 years to come too;
nobody asked to be born. consciousness is non-consensual. this is tragic. but hope, for that means that fundamentally, this is not your fault. the body you are in, the places you find yourself.. we are all in this moment just the sum of our lived experiences. i see a lot of people, whether consciously or not, blaming themselves for simply existing. since we are not to be blamed, it is not good to hold onto anger and sadness too tightly. meditate on your pain and fear, allow it to pass through you.
this is all pretty heavy, and despite the art i create and write, i'm not always such a bummer lol. so in short here's my practical answer;
create art, and know in your soul that you are more than just flesh.
