so what exactly are inkopolis’s laws on teenage soldiers

not too sold on the names yet but here's Cloverstar (agent 3) and their kin Eggpaw (neo agent 3)

Captain 3: Doing pushups with Callie on his back

Captain 3: "For the most part, I'm doing alright. Still not used to running a squad by myself, but I'm getting the hang of it."

Agent 4: "Things could be better. I have a massive test coming up. Its a decent portion of my grade."

Agent 8: "I'll tell you after I catch him and hand him over to security"

Neo 3: Making sure his fur is nice and clean

Neo 3: "I'm in a lot of pain from time to time, but that's probably because of the fuzzy ooze"

Hey Three! What's your relationship with Eight?

Captain 3: "Oh! She's one of my best friends. One of the few agents who can keep up with me during sparring."

Captain 3: Watches as 4 plays with his son. Sees Neo 3 running around the base being 'chased' by small fry

Captain 3: "4 isn't really that into fighting. He'll spar for sure, and will fight to protect his family...

Captain 3: "He's scary if you mess with his family"

Captain 3: Has flashbacks to when he saw people threaten 4's son

Captain 3: "Neo on the other hand loves to fight. He's not that good at it, but he does enjoy it."

Neo 3: Sees all the hares

Neo 3: Starts salivating

Neo 3: No... no Samuel told me not to bring any more dead animals to the lookout.

The New Squidbeak Splatoon circa nine years ago. A newly minted Agent, an algae farmboy, an army recruit and a street urchin, all future heroes.

(Yeah I've been kind of on a "past" kick lately don't mind me)

My Version of 2 Splatoon characters the one on the Left is my oc Chaos (neo agent 3) and on the right is Agent 4 (turf war gear)

Instead of doing Ink-Goretober I wrote a bunch of headcannons on the agents

HCs below the cut!

Captian/Tristan/Three/(original) Agent 3:

♤Chew on their tentacles while thinking or stressed

-Marie noticed this and got them a chew stim but they chewed through it

♤Doesn't like showering bc their skin & tentacles are sensitive so when they found out abt sensitive soap (bc Octolings are more likely to have sensitive skin) they were like "Washing?? Isn't??? Supposed to hurt????"

♤Hygiene got better after Eight moved in with them (see prev)

♤Genuinely likes pineapple on pizza

♤Would kill a man for Crusty Sean's food/srs

♤Favorite snack is squid jerky but feels a bit bad eating it

♤VERY competitive in Ranked mode

♤They are a BEAST in Rainmaker, Tower Control, and Clam Blitz

♤Immune system isn't great so they get sick every couple months

♤Likes spicy food but it kicks their ass every time

♤Gives strong hugs but isn't huge on physical affection

-Obviously some exceptions like their partner(s), close friends & family, and if someone they care abt is sad

♤Happily gets kiss drunk off Eight's venom

♤Still sometimes makes music under the name DJ Sango

Eight/Agent 8:

♡Legal name is Eight Ida

-this is bc Marina felt wrong assigning her a name in case she remembered her old one

♡Lived with Marina and Pearl for the first year of being on the surface moving between Pearl's house/Marina's apartment depending on where the two were staying at the time

♡Moved in with Three 2 months into their relationship

♡Doesn't like pizza

♡Three got her hooked on squid jerky

♡Rarely uses Three's legal name

♡Uses gentle soap bc she has sensitive skin and tentacles

♡Likes playing turf war bc it allows her to use her military training

♡Hardly ever gets sick, she has an immune system of STEEL

♡Loves spicy food and eats it regularly

♡Lies on Three's stomach and traces their scars, occasionally planting kisses along them

Freya/Four/Agent 4:

◇Little creecher

◇Studys hard for school but gets average grades

◇Does SO many extracurriculars

◇Still lives with their parents

◇Tried to get a summer job once at a fast food spot (not Crusty Sean's) but hated it and refuses to work food again

◇Argued for weeks with their parents so they could start doing Grizzco shifts

Talyn/Neo/(new) Agent 3:

♧Feels iffy about doing Grizzco shifts

-Partially bc of little buddy but after they realize he's evil they feel even weirder abt doing them

♧Eventually got Little Buddy recognized as a service animal

-He does DPT, and a few other tasks for their anxiety, also helps monitor their glucose levels

♧Type 1 diabetic

♧Misses their family but has no clue where to start to find them bc they haven't seen them in 4 years

♧Makes Little Buddy's treats themself

I've been thinking about the clothing styles of the agents lately and this is what I think their styles would be.

Agent 8: Techwear (leaning to strappy) or softgrunge, with pops of color (also vaporwave influences)

Agent 3: Techwear (leaning to utility) or emo fashion

Agent 4: Athletic wear or traditional casual

Neo 3: Grunge (minor scene influences)

All three of them are the new Agent 3 (or Agents 3)

They're adopted brothers, got involved with Alterna while visiting the Splatlands, they're from Oceania

The Octoling is Hiro, he's the oldest, he's a Maori Octoling (Macroctopus maorum)

Hiro is charismatic and extroverted, a shooter main but can use whatever, has the most braincells out of the three

The Inkling is Calymar, often shortened to Mars, he's the middle child, he's a Giant Inkling (Architeuthis dux)

Calymar's a sniper main and thinks its the only weapon which takes skill, needs-to-touch-grass 14 year old, "guy's im so badass I can go on the Deep Web", way too into conspiracy theories

Lil' Buddy is the youngest, he's a Small Fry Salmonid

He's the kind of kid who'd play whatever Splatoon's version of Rocket League and Fortnite is
