Art summary 4 thiz year!!! My art folder for 2022 has almost 300 drawings tho lol

2016 - 2017 - 2018 - 2019
Boy, 2020 sure was a year, wasn’t it? Not sure why it took me so long to post this. My thoughts on my art this year under the cut.
2020 was a bit of an interesting year for me, art-wise. I don’t think I actually objectively improved that much, but my art definitely changed a lot. Throughout last year I gradually got more and more disillusioned with doing lineart and my very clean cell shaded style in general, so I was experimenting with more painterly methods of rendering quite a bit in the earlier months of this year. Around June was when I began to settle on the method I’ve been using for the rest of this year, although I’ve continued experimenting with ways to incorporate a “lineart” look without actually having to go through the hell that is lineart.
Lotta fanart this year, though that’s pretty normal for me at this point. By the last few months of 2020, I’d been getting pretty good at having something to post every week, which I’ve been proud of. I’ve also been continuing to work on comic stuff behind the scenes. I say this every year, but I think I am genuinely close to having something ready to start publishing.
I also started art school in August. I have no idea how/if that’s reflected in my work, but it’s made me hyperconscious of how lacking my skill with anatomy is. It’s also been making me want to try weirder stuff - all too often I find myself just making art that looks “pretty” without thought to its deeper impact or meaning (which is not necessarily a problem, but isn’t really my aim for my work personally).
For 2021, I’d like to continue experimenting with my style & developing my personal projects. I want to explore weirder territory with my art - a lot of my work this year was rather “safe” and I’m a little worried about falling into a rut that’s too conventional. Hopefully I’ll continue posting weekly, and maybe that comic will finally come into fruition.

Found this art summary for last year in my drafts -- I apparently never got around to writing up my thoughts so I never posted it.

Hey-yo, back with this year's art Summary. Really wished I got to do a little more this year but hey sometimes that happens.
Jan: The Lantern Rite featuring Xiao from Genshin Impact.
Feb: My brother got me into League (kinda) I really like the art.
Mar: Takemura from Cyberpunk 2077. Cool dude. The actor even liked one of my art posts on Instagram. Kinda geeked out about it. 😅
Apr: HOG HUNT. Redraw. Sad-ist is such an inspiration.
May: Dawn of the 16th. Another Sad-ist amazing animatic. Watched that one a lot.
June: Revived. And Mildly Surprised.
July: Bones in the Ocean fanart! An amazing fic by Bunflower & WolfyTheWitch.
Aug: Played yet another visual novel, Crimson Spires. Kinda fell in love with August.
Sep: Wanted to do more Sims art, because I've been playing Sims 4 a lot this year and made some really neat Sims. But Tidus is so wholesome.
Oct: Something for a friend, trying out some new things. Really surprised with how it turned out.
Nov: First ever commission. Really happy with it, and hope I can do more.
Dec: Arcane. Just everything about it. Art. Music. Characters. Story. *chef's kiss*

Another Year. Another Art Summary.
I'm looking forward to keep improving.
January: I finally finished the Raven Queen art that I started weeks before.
February: Did a Redraw of a screenshot from when some friends and I were playing Pokémon S/V.
March: Campaign 2 hasn't started yet, but I attempted to draw Oz after seeing his player draw him.
April: I played and finished RE4 remake at my boyfriend's request. So I had to also finally draw Leon.
May: Campaign 2 has started, and I wanted to draw Nicholas.
June: Got a Commission done.
July: Worked on another Commission.
August: Had to draw my boi from Crimson Spires again.
September: First Dragonborn character I've done, also a Commission.
October: Drew Cassie, to figure out how I want her to look in my style.
November: Hogwarts AU still kicking in the brain, so Maponos & Luciana art.
December: First time drawing Astarion, I want to do more BG3 art.

Art summary for 2017! The year started off slow for me, but I think I’m getting more consistent!

happy new year to all of you, here's a summary of all the art i made in december !!!!!

Since I haven't been able to post any art properly in a month or so, I decided to do an art summary board since I’ve been moderately more productive this year. My original goal was to post once every month to sort of test myself, but that, eventually fell through. I am still proud of the progress I’ve made this year, so at least there's that!

I still can't believe that I manded to draw something at least once a month in 2021
Okay, before the year ends I want to say thank you for sticking around and supporting my work (via likes and rt's). I know I'm not the best artist to post something new every week due to school/work drowning my energy away. May 2022 bless us with good vibes

Thank you 2023, see you soon in 2024

It's hard to analyze, but anyway the top goal for this year is... to draw even more Kaveh🥳
Aaand my 2022's version for fun

Wishing you a safe and Happy New Year!

2023 Art Summary!
Other than March due to my iPad being out that month Ive managed to make one digital piece if not two.
This year has been a hard year, hopefully 2024 will be better!
2023 art summary thingy!

Wanted to get this out before I forgot lol
I had a really good year! But when I look at it like this it looks like I didn’t improve at all lol, if anything I regressed. Despite that I feel like I’m starting to develop an art style I really enjoy!
2022 ver under the cut!

Throwing my 2023 art summary in here; Tried a whole bunch of new stuff, and found what I like, and that's enough for me. <3

I worked so much this year
thank you all for coming along with me
here’s to more art in 2017!

Must be a few years back since I last made one of these: My art summary for the year. So much Voltron! March–April (and more) was all comic zine work.
