Its been a while since I've done OC work, but hey at least I got something done. This is a character I posted about a while ago but I recently fixed her design up a bit so its less chaotic, plus I've been working on this for about two months now so its about time I finally post it.
My contribution to the final hours of Unus Annus, I'm gonna miss this level of idiocy on a daily basis.

I decided to hop on the trend of looking through the past decade of my art and, jesUS CHRIST. I honestly have been putting myself down this whole year when it comes to my art, mainly because it never really gets any form of, anything really (plus it doesn't help that i was,,,, not having the best of times in my personal life this year)
BUT, doing this honestly helped me realize that i’m steadily getting better, which kinda relight the creative part of me, so that’s good! I know that no one really cares, but I just wanted to post do this for myself if anything.

This here is Melanie Maple, a 25 year old woman living in southern Detroit with her sister Estelle and two of her friends, Viktoria and Iris. She runs a nice little cafe and diner called 'Grinders', where she tries her best to help the homeless community around her by giving them jobs. Also! Fun fact about all of my characters so far: each of them are mainly created to get shoved into different series that i'm into!
My art style can best be described as “I only have an hour of true art drive and I BETTER FINISH IT ALL BY THEN OR ELSE”
