Rings and Broken Antiques (Jimin x Reader)

Edit June 2020: I tried to edit out all the Korean words, sorry if I missed any!

I swear my title makes sense Sorta ANYWAY this is my random Jimin fluff I wrote the other night~ I legit don’t know where this came from, I literally just started writing a random story and it turned into this... so I hope everyone likes it ^^ Genre: Fluffy Fluff Fluff Words: 1,900+

⇨ Masterlist ⇦

Rings And Broken Antiques (Jimin X Reader)

“Jimin,” I sighed, messing with the ring on my finger to distract me from the frustrating teen, “I told you to not touch anything.”

Jimin frowned and crossed his arms across his chest, “You never let me touch anything in here, Y/N…”

“That would be because you’ve broken five antiques in the last month,” I retorted, only to have an upset Jimin poking my arm seconds later. This kid…

“Park Jimin, can you not? I have to get back to work before my dad sees us,” I attempted to guide him out of the store, but he was stronger than me. With little to no effort, he stayed in one place while watching me with amused eyes.

“I don’t get why your dad doesn’t like me,” he slightly pouted and tilted his head to the side. I sighed and looked at him with humor in my eyes.

I lightly poked his chest, “That might be because you’ve broken five expensive things this month and you haven’t paid for anything.” My arm returned to my side as I continued messing with the ring on my finger. Jimin just gave a frustrated look at my words.

“It’s not my fault Taehyung attacked me! He shoved me into that statue!” Jimin defended himself, grabbing my hand and messing with my hand. I tried to pull away before anyone saw, but Jimin grabbed my wrist before I could.

“Jimin,” I whispered, looking nervously at the door to the staff room, “If my dad sees you, he’ll get the wrong idea…”

“Wrong idea? What, that we’re dating?” Jimin smirked, lacing his hand with mine. I tried to pull away, but it really was no use. “That’s not getting the wrong idea, though. It’d just be him finding out about us…”

“I never told you yes,” I shot back, but when I felt Jimin messing with my ring, my face flushed. I didn’t realize I was wearing it in front of him… I had been so good about remembering to take it off when he was around.

“You’re wearing the ring I gave you, Y/N…” he stared down at it with an adorable expression on his face, “I gave you this ring to symbolize us dating, no?”

“I-I don’t… I didn’t-” I sighed in frustration, pulling him out the door. Once we were out and away from any windows, I look to him and swallowed nervously. “I didn’t want you to see me wearing it until I was totally sure that you weren’t messing with me or dating someone else at the time…”

“Y/N… that hurts,” Jimin put a hand over his heart as a frown appeared on his face. “You think I’d stoop as low as cheating?”

“No, don’t even pull that innocence on me. I know about that time you dated two girls at once, only to tell the first girlfriend, ‘I just forgot to break up with you.’ Don’t even try to pretend that didn’t happen Park Ji-”

“No,” Jimin protested, “I didn’t cheat on her, I broke up with her but she was so big-headed that she thought she was the one that had to end the relationship before it was officially over.”

“Oh really?” I poked his chest accusingly, “then why did both Jungkook and Taehyung say you cheated when I asked them?”

Jimin opened his mouth to shoot something back, only to smirk and bit his lip before anything came out. I blinked at him, raising an eyebrow in confusion, only for him to grab my hand again. “You asked them about me, huh?”

“Yes?” I rolled my eyes, “I told you I needed to know more about your romantic life before I thought about getting involved with-”

Jimin once again cut me off, testing my patience. “Y/N… I’m serious about wanting to date you. I really want to be able to talk to you about your day, to hug you, to make you feel better when you feel down.”

“You already do all of those things.” I pointed out, causing Jimin to sigh in slight frustration. I felt a smile creep onto my face at his cute little sigh.

“But being in a relationship also allows me to call you mine so no one else takes you… I can hang out and sleep over all the time... and I can give you sweet kisses all over...” he pointed out, playing with the ring on my finger again. My face started to heat up, so I desperately tried to change the subject a little.

“Well, what if I don’t want to be yours?” I shot back, tilting my head to the side. “What if I’m not up for a relationship right now? What if I just don’t like you in the way you like me?”

“I would wait for you,” he answered quickly, “I would wait until you were ready for one… and if you didn’t love me, then I would do my best to make you fall for me.”

I took a deep breath and turned away from him, cursing my face for getting hot at his words. I honestly loved that little brat more than I’d like to admit, but he drives me over the edge sometimes… Plus, my dad and he are on bad terms, which isn’t good if we ended up seriously dating each other…

Also, Jimin’s a playboy; a player; a one-night-stand kind of guy. I’ve been his best female friend for seven years, since the beginning of 5th grade when both he and Taehyung helped me up after I fell out of the swing on the school playground. I know what kind of dating life he’s had, especially since Taehyung and Jungkook tell me everything else that I don’t know, and I’m not sure it I want to get involved with Jimin…

I really like him, but he… he can be a little too much. I don’t want to be hurt by any other stupid relationships; especially if I’d also lose Jimin as a friend.

“Y/N,” Jimin called out softly, “I mean it. I… I love you too much to let you get away from me.”

I nervously bit my lip and looked down at ours hands. The ring was so pretty yet simple and it made my heart race at what it meant. Wearing the ring almost felt like I was getting engaged to Jimin… like a promise ring; promising myself to him…

And I found myself not totally opposed to the idea.

“Jimin…” I whispered softly, grabbing his undivided attention. I continued looking down, avoiding his eyes at all costs. “I just… I don’t want to get hurt or lose you…”

Jimin grabbed my chin with his free hand, moving my head up so that I looked into his eyes. He pulled my hand up with his other hand, placing my hand over his heart. I could feel his heartbeat increase more and more the longer my hand was placed there.

His other hand moved from my chin to my waist, pulling me closer to him, but not uncomfortably close to him.

“I love you, Y/N…” Jimin whispered with a small, sheepish smile, “I want you to be mine really badly… just the thought of you not being by my side makes me feel depressed.”

My heart started to race faster the more he talked, making it slightly harder to breathe. I looked away from him, but as I did that, he pulled me into a soft hug. He pressed me completely against himself, sighing into my hair. A shiver ran through my body as I buried my face into his neck, smelling his favorite cologne.

After a few silent moments, he pulled away and met my eyes.

“Well?” he nervously asked, “Do you… want to give it a try?”

I sighed and smiled at his cute nervous expression. “Stupid… you don’t think I want to try?”

Jimin’s expression lightened up in the matter of seconds at my words, “Then why did you continue leading me on like you weren’t interested or that you don’t want me, Y/N..”

“Because I don’t want to be hurt, Jimin… I’ve already been hurt before and I can’t even look at him anymore.”

“Well I’m not going to hurt you, Y/N,” Jimin whispered reassuringly, “I love you too much… I’d kill myself before I purposefully did anything to hurt you.”

I didn’t say anything back as he leaned in, placing a soft kiss on my forehead. I sighed in content as I melted in his arms. He smiled softly and placed another kiss on my cheek. I moved my arms around his neck, looking up at him with adoration.

“I love you, Jimin…” I whispered to him nervously, playing with the ring on my finger behind his head. He continued smiling down at me and he slowly brushed his nose against mine. I shivered in delight as a small smile started to play on my lips. Jimin looked from my eyes to my lips, causing me to slightly giggle. He was so cute and gentle for someone who’s seen as a player…

I nodded to him when he looked into my eyes again, causing his arms to bring me even closer in one swift motion.

His lips were just a hair’s width away from mine as he stayed there for a few seconds before whispering, "I love you…”

His lips finally landed on mine in a soft kiss. It wasn’t rough at all; it was soft, sweet, and perfect for a first kiss with him. His lips moved slowly against mine and one of his hands moved to caress my cheek. One of my hands moved to run through his hair, causing a smile to form into our kiss.

We pulled away for a second before Jimin kissed me again, except this time it was deeper and more passionate. I giggled at his eagerness, kissing back for a few seconds before pulling away. Jimin tried to catch my lips again, but I put a finger between our lips and smirked. He pouted and backed away a little.

“Y/N..!” he whined, but I just giggled again and pecked his cheek before pulling completely away.

“Y/N!” he called out as I moved away, “Where are you going??”

“I have to get back in the store. I’ve been gone for too long and my dad will get suspicious.” I explained as I made my way back to the front door.

“B-but-”

“I’ll talk to you later, Chim,” I smiled back at him.

“Hey,” he called before I opened the door, “You know, as long as you wear that ring, you’re mine.”

A smile started to form on my face at his words. “Whatever,” I rolled my eyes at him, “I’m leaving now.”

Jimin whined as I opened the door, “Can’t I go in with you?”

“No way, you know my dad doesn’t like you.” I shot back, but my mood softened when Jimin continued to give me a puppy dog look.

“But he’s got to learn to like me at some point… why not try to make him like me now?”

“Jiminie-”

“I’m coming in with you.” He decided by himself as I sighed and rolled my eyes at him. With that pitiful look on his face, there was no way a could say no.

“Okay. Don’t come crying to me if you ruin it with my dad before we even really start dating.”

“I won’t!” Jimin cried, “I just need to tell him that I’m willing to work to pay off breaking all of the antiques I broke.”

I smiled at him and laughed, kissing him on the forehead before heading in, “You’re too cute, Jimin.”

Meh, the ending could be better, but its the best I could come up with >< I hope it was worth reading~ Again, I have no idea where this idea came in.

Genre: Fluff Fluff Flufffffff and lots of sibling love ofc Words: 2,453 Part 2 - Part 4

Taehyung was looking around the office as he walked in with a stuffed teddy bear he had picked up on the way. He silently cursed his hyung for calling him so many times to check on everything. “Did you get her a gift?” “Did you wear appropriate clothes?” “Did you brush your hair and teeth?” “Did you iron your clothes?” “Did you leave on time?” “Did you remember to eat lunch before you came?” “Are you sure you’re gonna be here on time?”

He was about to yell at his hyung until he took a deep breath and told himself that he was just being cautious and just wanted everything to go perfectly. He knew how crazy he could get when it came to things with Nayoung.

“Oh, Taehyung!” he heard his brother’s co-worker call to him. He looked around and spotted her, smiling brightly at the doctor, “Seokjin-ssi said he would be here after he finished talking to Nayoung. If you want, I can talk to you until then…”

Taehyung continued smiling and nodded at her and she gestured for him to follow her. “Thanks for keeping me company, Hyemi Sunbae.”

Hyemi just swatted the air and scoffed, “It’s not that big of a deal. Also, I thought I told you to just call me Hyemi. You’re older than me, after all.” She slightly glared at him and he smiled sheepishly at her.

“Arraseo, Hyemi…” he slightly whispered, causing her to giggle slightly. “Aish, it’s weird! I feel like you’re older than me.”

She just rolled her eyes and poked his cheek, “but I’m not~.”

Taehyung blushed and swatted her hand away lightly.

After a silent moment, Hyemi opened her mouth to say something, only to get cut off by some loud, fast footsteps.

“Taehyung! You’re here!” Seokjin smiled and stopped running to catch his breath. Taehyung looked up at his hyung in front of him and sighed, putting on a smile, “Of course, Hyung. I told you I wouldn’t be late.”

Seokjin nodded and walked closer, grabbing his hand to pull him up, “Well, we need to get going before she tries to back out of it.”

Before the two left, Seokjin smiled to Hyemi, “Thanks for keeping him company. I’d get back to working on patients before the boss finds out you were slacking. I don’t want to get you in trouble.”

Hyemi nodded and waved at them, smiling softly while looking at Taehyung, “It’s okay. I don’t mind helping you out.”

They all waved to each other and Seokjin pulled Taehyung toward Nayoung’s room. Hyemi watched them both and sighed, turning around to tend to other patients.

“I know, Hyung. I’m not gonna pull anything. I know how important this must be to you.” Taehyung said to Seokjin as Seokjin looked nervously around the room.

“A-Arraseo. If at any point she looks uncomfortable, try to either apologize or back off a little bit.” Seokjin added as Taehyung facepalmed.

“Hyung, I’m trying to not punch you right now, so can you stop repeating yourself? Are you not gonna sit in there with us?”

“I can’t,” Seokjin frowned as he peaked his head into Nayoung’s room to check on her. She was reading the book he gave her this morning with a soft smile placed on her pale face. He looked back over to Taehyung, “My boss is demanding I attend to a meeting today. I don’t know how long that’ll take.”

“I can handle this, Hyung,” Taehyung reassured, seeing the pain and frustration in his eyes, “and even if she doesn’t open up today, it’s not like it’s the end of the world, right?”

Seokjin looked down to the floor and then back at Nayoung. It would definitely be the end of his world if she doesn’t open up today.

Which lead him to another thought that scared him today; what if he was pushing her too hard? He hadn’t even though about her side. She might be attached to him, but that didn’t mean she was attached enough to do something so big for him.

He shook those thoughts away. It was too late to back out now; plus his sanity would run very low if he was pulled from Nayoung. She’d be in his head all day with no way for her to get out. He’d worry like crazy.

“Taehyung,” Seokjin took a deep breath, “I trust you to succeed in this. Do your best. I have to head off.”

Taehyung smiled to Seokjin as he slightly bowed, “Arraseo~. I hope your meeting goes well, Hyung.”

And with that, Seokjin disappeared around the corner, leaving him in front of the room of Nayoung. He had always really wondered what she was like; what she looked like, how she smiled, how she could’ve captured his Hyung’s heart without a single word. He hoped that today he could find out.

With a deep breath, he opened the door to the room next to him. Nayoung didn’t look up from the book she was reading as he shut the door behind him. His nerves suddenly shot up as Nayoung flipped the page, totally ignoring his presence. Maybe she was just so engrossed in the book that she didn’t hear him?

If that was true, he didn’t want to scare her and get off to a bad start.

“Nayoung-ssi~” he called in a cute voice with a smile on his face. She blinked but she didn’t look up from her book.

“I hope you realize I’m here, Nayoung-ssi. I really don’t want to scare you within my first minute of being here.” He laughed slightly, walking slightly closer to her. He didn’t move too fast towards her; he just took little steps. He placed the stuffed animal he had bought on the end of her bed and sat down in the chair in the corner that her TV was in.

“I’m going to sit over here and talk to you, arraseo? Feel free to listen if you want.” He said, but she still ignored him. He was starting to get a little nervous and slightly frustrated. How would he get her attention? She was so zoned out; either that or she was just flat out ignoring him.

He needed her to listen to him in order for her to open up.

It was only seconds later that it hit him.

Duh, Taehyung thought, mentally face palming himself. Who was the one person who she could trust? And who was his little brother who had childhood stories of him that she might be interested in hearing.

“So, Nayoung…” Taehyung started with a sweet smile on his face. “I hear that you’re very important to my brother…”

Just seconds later, he say her face begin to heat up in embarrassment, and he just giggled softly, “He’s so sweet to you I bet… He’s always been a caring guy, but he seems to care about you more than anyone or anything else.”

He felt it a satisfactory when she reached for her bookmark, closing the book she had been reading.

“When he’s not here, I think he’s either at the library or book store buying books for you,” Taehyung smiled, resting his elbow on his knee and his chin in his palm. “He hardly hangs out with his dongsaengs anymore.” Taehyung pouted and Nayoung tucked a few hairs behind her ear.

“But I don’t have any dislike towards you,” He added with a soft smile. “I’m really glad you’re here for my brother. Since you’ve opened up to him, he’s been all happy and smiling all the time. I’m very thankful for that.”

Nayoung finally looked up at him, and he was taking this gesture as progress. He didn’t know what she did around other people other than that she either ignored them or glared at them. She wasn’t ignoring him or glaring at him.

“Oh~” he smiled and softly clapped his hands together so he didn’t scare her, “I have an idea~! Why don’t I tell you some embarrassing stories about Jin Hyung? Would you like that?”

Her eyes seemed to lighten up; he almost felt as if they were smiling. She must be smiling on the inside to have that kind of look on her face.

“Well, do you want to hear them?” Taehyung slightly teased, “Nod for yes and just… sit there looking at me for no.”

Nayoung took a deep breath and looked down sheepishly, nodding ever so slightly. She felt that he was kind of cheating by making her ask for stories she really wanted to hear, but she found herself liking his little brother. He’s seemed pretty trust worthy so far; plus she can see some similarities between them.

“For starters,” Taehyung laughed and covered his mouth with his hand, “You know how he loves pink, neh?”

He paused again and Nayoung took this as a ‘you have to respond to this question’ thing that he was pulling. She nodded again, but her expression stayed neutral.

“Well, for the first ten years; yes, he did this until he was ten; he would dress up as a princess for Halloween.”

Nayoung’s eyes widened as she covered her mouth with her hand. She felt a smile appear on her face and she blushed, hiding her head in her knees. Taehyung thought about pointing it out, but he decided he should continue. Maybe he could get her to laugh if he said the right things.

If he did, he’d feel like he did his hyung a huge favor today.

“He still loves the color pink, but I think he’s over his princess phase,” he laughed, “Although our friends still do call him ‘Princess Jin’ just to mess with him.”

Nayoung felt her smile growing, thinking of her Doctor, Kim Seokjin, dressed as a princess. For some reason, it wasn’t that hard, which she found funnier than if it had been difficult. She suppressed her laughs, though.

“I know you don’t know our friends, which I hope you will one day, but they’re all nice like us.” Taehyung paused as he re-thought his statement, “Well, mostly nice. Some of them can be a little harsh even though they don’t mean to.”

“We’re also really crazy when we’re together,” he quickly added, “I’m actually the craziest of us all. Didn’t see that coming, huh?”

Nayoung bit her lip and shook her head, looking back up at him. She didn’t even care to hide her smile anymore.

“I can be serious when I need to be,” he added, looking into her eyes, “Plus, Hyung really wanted me to help you open up to other people. He’s seemed to be really stressed out these past few days. I think we should both do our best to release his stress.”

Nayoung nodded in agreement, thinking back on the tired and fake smiles he had been giving her recently. She was getting really worried for him, and to see Taehyung worried as well made her feel better. She knew that if others noticed his stress, it would mean more people trying to help him release it.

“But on to happier notes~!” Taehyung smiled and scooted the chair closer to her bed. “Have you heard Hyung sing?”

Nayoung looked at him confused for a few seconds, and he slightly laughed and shook his head.

“Aish, this Hyung! He’s really narcissistic yet he doesn’t show it around you!” Taehyung pouted, “You’re lucky. He compliments his looks, and sometimes his voice, all the time. Why doesn’t he sing to you or something? You should ask him to sometime soon.”

Nayoung’s eyes lightened at the thought of hearing Jin sing. It was like a fairy tale come true to have the man you love sing you to sleep with his beautiful voice…

She subconsciously giggled at the thought, only to cover her mouth as Taehyung’s eyes brightened and a box-like smile appeared on his face. His smile made her smile even bigger and she looked away.

“Aigoo~! Hyung was right! Your smile is so pretty~.”

She glanced at him with a pout for a second before she threw her pillow at him. The pillow hit him right in the face as he made an ‘oof!’ sound into the pillow. Her laugh started to grow as he lost his balance from a pillow and fell on the floor.

Her laughter started to fill the room as Taehyung sighed and got up from the floor.

“Nayoung-ssi…” he cutely called as she covered her mouth to silence her laughing. “I’m happy my Hyung has you…”

Nayoung covered her face with her other pillow at his words, biting her lip at the thought of him. He was so sweet and perfect to her… She found herself falling for him more and more every day, and his brother wasn’t helping at all.

She actually ended up liking his brother a whole lot more than she thought she would. He’s very easy to get along with and is really funny… She felt really grateful to Seokjin for pushing her to meet Taehyung.

The thought of speaking occurred in her mind, but it was gone just as soon as it appear, being attacked by memories of the accident… memories of the child…

“Nayoung-ssi~” Taehyung called, pulling her out of her terrifying thoughts. “Is it okay if I talk to you and you either write down your response or you text me your response? I really want to have an actual conversation with you, but I know you can’t speak right now…”

Nayoung nodded and grabbed her phone that no one other that Kim Seokjin had gotten her so he could check on her. He also used it so he could get to know her even better; so that he felt like he was actually talking to her.

Taehyung walked closer and she held her phone out for him to take. He smiled and put his number in her phone, sending himself a text message.

“Thank you Nayoung~. Hyung is gonna be ecstatic when he hears about how you’ve opened up to me~!” Taehyung laughed brightly as she smiled and bit her lip slightly. She couldn’t wait till she saw Seokjin later. She didn’t think it was possible for her to love him more than she already did, but today has proved her wrong. She fell in love with him even deeper after meeting his little brother.

Seokjin Oppa… I love you so much. I hope I can continue making you proud, she thought as Taehyung moved his chair next to her bed. She smiled at Taehyung while he wasn’t looking, then she looked to the door, waiting for Seokjin to come visit her again today.

Emotionless (Doctor!Seokjin x Patient!OC) Part 4

It’s heeereee~ It would have been posted sooner, but I didn’t like the way I had ended it before so I just rewrote the ending. I hope this chapter wasn’t disappointing~ Genre: Fluffy fluff yis Words: 2,100+ Part 3 - Part 5

⇨ Masterlist ⇦

The second the meeting let out, Seokjin darted out of the room. He checked his phone for any calls or texts, but there weren’t any.

That means things are going well, he told himself over and over, it means that they’re talking and having a good time with each other…

No, It probably means that everything is going horribly, he started to internally panic as he practically ran to Nayoung’s room, Taehyung is probably just as uncomfortable as her, but neither of them are saying anything to each other and then she’ll start to turn away from me and get mad at me for putting her in this-

“Doctor Kim,” a voice cut through his thoughts and his pace slowed down as he caught the sight of Hyemi. He smiled to her and she bowed to him, “You’d probably like to know that Taehyung reported to me, stating that everything was going great and that there was nothing to worry about.”

Seokjin let out the breath he didn’t realize he was holding as he nodded to her, “Thank you Hyemi-ssi, but I really need to hurry and see for myself.”

Hyemi’s smile slightly dropped as Seokjin turned around, “N-Neh… Sorry for stopping you.”

“Its fine~,” he called back, “I just need to see Nayoung as soon as possible!”

Hyemi bowed and waved, sighing at the sight of him disappearing.

Seokjin ended up in front of the door just seconds later as he froze at the sound of laughter. His heart did flips and turns as he heard a few giggles from the person he’d been so worried about all day. A smile immediately appeared on his face as her giggles continued, joined with Taehyung’s. Biting back a smile, Seokjin knocked on the door softly, hearing the laughs die down.

It was silent for a second before he opened the door, poking his head in the room, “Annyeong~.”

“Hyung!” Taehyung called to Seokjin as he held up his phone, “you didn’t tell me she was a pro at, like, every game ever!”

Seokjin walked all the way into the room and closed the door behind him, “Ah, it never came up?” He laughed at Taehyung’s distressed look as he moved to sit on Nayoung’s bed. His attention went from Taehyung to Nayoung as she looked over at him.

Her smile was so beautiful and her eyes were so full of life, he couldn’t keep himself from giggling with happiness. He loved seeing her this happy; it fit her so much better than her monotone look that she gave around everyone else.

“Nayoung-ssi…” Seokjin laughed as she bit her lip and slid her phone toward him. The screen had a score board of her and Taehyung’s many games on an app of ‘Go Fish.’

“Taehyung, she kicked your tail,” he continued laughing as he took her phone from her hand, “21 to 10?”

“Yah!” he cried, pointing an accusing finger at Nayoung who was giggling at his reaction, “it’s her fault! She cheated!”

“She did not cheat,” Seokjin defended, “you can’t really cheat on an app like that, can you?”

“Well she found a way to!” Taehyung cried, still trying to get Seokjin to see that Nayoung was an evil cheater.

“Yah, don’t accuse her like that,” he started to scold, half kidding, half serious. “She’s innocent and you know it.”

Taehyung just scoffed and crossed his arms across his chest. He turned his head to look out the window, ignoring the other two in the room.

Seokjin rolled his eyes at his younger brother, turning to Nayoung. He handed her back her phone with the smile still on his face.

“I see it went well,” he started, earning an eager nod from her. Before he could say anything else, she pulled his sleeve, signaling for him to move closer to her. He did as he was told and sat practically right in front of her as she showed him her contact screen. Instead of just his contact like it had originally been, it now had all of his friends in it as well. Not only were they in her phone but they had all sent her sweet messages as well.

She handed her phone to him and nodded her head, signaling for him to read them.

“Yoongi- Nayoung-ssi, I hope you’re doing well. Jin Hyung cares for you a lot, so you must be a pretty important person. I’m sorry Hyung chose Taehyung of all people to come meet you. He can be a little too crazy.”

“Hoseok- NAYOUNG-SSI~! I’ve been wanting to meet you for so long~! I just want you to know you’re beautiful and I’m so happy you’ve been there to cheer up Jin Hyung. I hope I can become friends with you soon! I’m not scary, I promise~.”

“Namjoon- I hope you’re well~ I’ve heard a lot about you from Jin Hyung and I can’t wait until you find your voice again. I bet it’s really beautiful.”

“Jimin- Nayoung-ssi, you’re with Taehyung? Mianhae! Haha, I hope you’re having fun~! Make sure to give Jin Hyung lots of love, and make sure he does the same! I hope to meet you soon~. :)”

“Jungkook- Noona~ hehe, I’m the only one that can call you that. I feel special~. I’ve heard about you from both Taehyung and Jin Hyung, and I hope you break open your shell soon. You seem like you’d be a really fun person to hang with, whether you talk or not. Make sure to schedule a time for you to hang out with me~ :D”

Seokjin blushed and laughed at some of the messages, biting his lip and sighing at the others. She seemed to be pretty comfortable with the idea of them talking to her like this. He was both surprised and happy at this news, looking up at her with a look of admiration.

Taehyung saw the two looking at each other and smirked, holding back a laugh. He took this as a time to slip out for a little bit, letting the lovebirds have their time alone.

Nayoung gently took her phone back and locked it, pulling Seokjin’s sleeve again. She moved over as far as she could, making room for him to lay next to her. Seokjin watched her move over while blushing and biting his lip.

She wanted him to lie down with him in this tiny hospital bed?

She watched him with a little smile on her pale face; a smile that Seokjin couldn’t resist. He took a deep breath, “You think we could both fit in this bed?”

Nayoung thought for a minute before shaking her head. Seokjin slightly laughed and shook his head in disbelief, “Then why do you want me to try and lay next to you, Pabo?”

She just smiled and shrugged casually looking out the window. His jaw slightly dropped with an amused smile on his face, “Omo… you’re trying to play games with me, aren’t you?”

She shook her head with an innocent look on her face, causing Seokjin to squeal on the inside. He tried his best to not let his thoughts get to him as he gave in and attempted to lay down next to the girl. She quickly moved his arm around her so she didn’t fall off the bed, and he slightly giggled.

“You’re opening up really fast if you go from hugging to cuddling in a 24 hour time period.” He joked with her, but she just nuzzled her cheek into his chest. The smile refused to leave his face as his arm rubbed on her back in a soothing manor.

Nayoung felt her eyelids become heavy at his actions, partially falling asleep on him in a matter of seconds. She knew she wasn’t fully asleep yet because she could still hear Seokjin’s breathing, she could still feel his hand on her back, and she could feel him place his head on top of hers.

A few minutes of silence passed as Nayoung was slipping into a deep sleep. Seokjin noticed that she had fallen asleep and chuckled at her soft expression. She looked so adorable when she slept, especially when she was cuddling him.

His heart started beating really fast the longer he thought about the fact that he was laying in Nayoung’s bed cuddling with her. She had never so much as hugged him until yesterday, so he felt like everything was moving so fast.

Until he thought back to the text messages and to the fact that Taehyung had to have talked about something she was interested in to get her attention. The text messages from the boys about how much he cared for her most certainly made him want to hold onto her and never let go… Maybe it was the same with her.

She just looked so fragile, and the last thing he wants is for someone or something to hurt her again. His eyes moved from her face to her hand that was placed on his chest. He picked her hand up and studied her bruised arm and then looked back down to her. She was so innocent looking when she slept…

“Saranghae,” he whispered so soft that you almost couldn’t hear it, “Saranghae Nayoung…”

He placed a soft kiss on her head and then pulled her closer to him. He soon felt his eyelids droop, causing him to fall asleep a few seconds later.

“Doctor Kim- oh.” Hyemi didn’t even bother to hide her surprise at the awkward situation in front of her. She felt her blood boil at Nayoung who was cuddling against her co-worker; her co-worker who was supposed to be working right now.

She really wanted to rush over and whack him in the head to wake him up, but the smile on his face made her think otherwise. With a heavy frown on her face, she rushed out of the room as fast as possible, causing her to get the attention of Taehyung who was sitting in front of the room.

“Oh hey Hy-”

“Taehyung,” she shot, “Do you not realize how much of a problem this girl has been lately?”

Taehyung did a double take at the harsh words coming out of her mouth. She had been fine when he talked to her earlier about how Nayoung was opening up more and was actually really cute when she smiled. What the heck happened in that room that made her freak?

“She doesn’t really mean to be, Hyemi-ssi,” Taehyung defended, but Hyemi ran a hand down her face in frustration.

“She is taking up all of Seokjin Sunbae’s time so I have to cover for him most of the time! She won’t talk to any other doctor like a spoiled brat and she-”

“She’s not spoiled,” Taehyung snapped, “She’s just afraid to trust people. You obviously haven’t given her a reason to trust you, especially after trash talking her like this.”

“Well she opened up to you!” she cried, moving Taehyung to a private place so that they didn’t attract attention.

“Yeah, because I gave her proof that she could trust me. You haven’t done that.”

“I’ve tried and tried, but she’s never pleased! She ignores me no matter what I do!” Hyemi slightly shouted, “And then in comes Seokjin Sunbae who’s handsome and perfect, and she’s like ‘oh, I’ll open up to him because he’s cute-’”

“Nayoung did not open up to Hyung because of his looks,” Taehyung pointed a finger at her, “You haven’t actually talked to her and I have. You’re just jealous because you like Jin Hyung!”

“I do not!” she scowled at him, “Our relationship is strictly business.”

“Oh really? Then why did you just explode when you came out of the room?” Taehyung asked, “Why didn’t you tell me all of this until you saw them together probably laughing and having fun.”

“It’s that he was sleeping with her!” Hyemi cried, “He has work to do and yet he falls asleep on the job!”

“So it is jealousy.”

“No!”

“Yep.”

Hyemi glared at Taehyung and then looked to the floor. Her face was probably as red as a tomato at this point. Taehyung took her silence as a defeat and he sighed.

“Hyemi-ssi… you’re gonna have to get over your crush on Hyung. He loves Nayoung and Nayoung loves him. There’s not really anything you can do about them.” Taehyung said, trying to not yell at her. “If you do anything to hurt her, you’ll just be hurting Hyung and moving him further from you.”

And with that, Taehyung turned around and walked away, leaving an upset Hyemi behind him.

Well that’s part 4~ Some tension is being created, oh noooo (It’s Hyemi’s fault not mine) But hero Tae to the rescue~ I’d love to hear your thoughts on this part, like where you think the story might go o; It’s interesting to hear everyone else’s take on it~ Stay tuned for the next chapter!

It was a rainy Thursday afternoon at the warm and cozy coffee shop. For the most part, it was quiet and peaceful as the sound of the rain and soft voices filled the place. The temperature in the shop was as perfect as usual, not too hot and not too cold.

Well, all until the door swung open and a girl stumbled in the shop, wet and cold. She was holding a million bags which were all dripping wet. The customers all took notice of her as she smiled sheepishly and bowed in apology.

It was like this most of the time, so the usuals in the cafe were used to it. Most days she would storm into the shop in a hurry to just get her coffee and leave. The only difference for today is that not only was she storming in, she was also drenched from head to toe.

The staff was pretty used to it as well, if not expectant of it. One of the workers in particular scoffed at her every time she came in looking like a mess. He didn’t know her job and he didn’t know why she was always rushing in, but he found it amusing every time she did.

She quickly walked to a booth to set her bags down before heading over to the desk. There was always only one cashier open at this hour, so she walked up to the cash register as always, though her slight death glare at him didn’t go unnoticed.

“I’ll have the usual,” she nodded and gave a sweet smile, “I’m not in a rush today, so take your time.”

“I wasn’t planning on rushing, anyway,” he replied as he turned his back to her to begin the process of making her complicated cup of coffee. “You should go to the back and get a towel. The boss should have one laying on the table that you can use.”

“Neh!” she smiled and nodded, practically jumping over the counter and getting it wet. “Yah!” the barista cried, “--Michi, I swear if it weren’t for you, my job would be so much easier.”

Before heading to the back, she turned around and glared at him, “My name is MariChae, not Michi! Min Yoongi, how many times do I have to tell you that?”

The barista, Yoongi, just glared back and pointed to the wet countertop, “I’ll get your name right when you stop creating problems for me.”

Mari just stuck her tongue out at him and headed to the back as Yoongi groaned and grabbed a towel to wipe off the counter. It didn’t take long for her to get back as she slid over the countertop again, leaving another mess for him to clean up.

“Aish, Michi, I don’t know what to do with you,” he grumbled and continued wiping the counter off. It didn’t take but a minute to finish as he returned to the coffee he had been making.

Mari watched him as he poured the drink into one of the coffee cups. She slowly laid down the money she needed to pay for the coffee and waited for him to turn around and hand it to her.

“You know, I just realized how picky you are,” Yoongi sighed as he placed a lid on top of her cup. Mari gave him a look as he turned around and leaned against the counter behind him.

“It’s not like I was hiding it from you,” she shrugged and leaned closer, “But that’s besides the point… I’m cold and thirsty, so can I have my coffee now?”

Yoongi rolled his eyes and placed it on the counter in front of her. “Happy now, Michi?”

Mari sighed and ignored his taunting as she grabbed and coffee and held it close to her to warm her up a little. “I don’t know why you call me that when it’s not my name~.”

Yoongi grabbed a towel and threw it over his shoulder as he grabbed the money she had placed on the counter, “Haven’t we already talked about this? Michida means ‘to be crazy’ so I think it’s very fitting.”

“But I’m not crazy,” Mari frowned playfully as Yoongi rolled his eyes and threw his towel at her.

“Say that again after you look at yourself in the mirror.” he commented as another customer came in the door. Mari looked to the door and moved away from the counter as they ordered their coffee.

“I don’t understand why you’re so mean to me Min Yoongi… I haven’t done anything to you,” she thought outloud as Yoongi just scoffed and continued working with the customer in front of him.

“You’ve done everything to me, Michi,” he mumbled as he turned around to make the customer’s coffee.

Mari glared at him in disbelief and pouted to the customer waiting for their coffee, “Aish, he’s so rude to me! It isn’t right to treat a girl this way…”

“It’s not like it’s illegal,” Yoongi commented before the customer could say anything. Mari’s eyes moved back to Yoongi as he turned around and handed the poor customer their coffee. Once the coffee was in their hand, they took off and didn’t bother looking back.

“You’re eventually gonna scare people away,” Yoongi glared at Mari, “Do you really want to jeopardize your brother’s coffee house just because you’re annoying?”

“I’m not jeopardizing anything. If anyone’s gonna take his cafe down, it’s you.” Mari gave a smile and Yoongi just rolled his eyes and looked the other way.

“You’re the only one that I treat this way, Michi,” Yoongi stated as he threw another towel over his shoulder, “Call it ‘special treatment’ if you will.”

Mari frowned and crossed her arms across her chest, “There’s nothing ‘special’ about being treated like dirt…”

“Sure there is!” Yoongi said with a smirk, “I could treat you a whole lot worse…”

Mari sighed and turned away from him, “Fine, I’ll just wait to come back and flirt with Jungkookie once his shift starts. It’s more enjoyable to talk to him anyway.”

“You do that, then…” Yoongi mumbled as Mari found his mumbling amusing. Once again the sound of the door opening could be heard as another customer walked in the door.

They walked up to the register and ordered their coffee as Mari stared at them with a look of suspicion.

They slowly turned to look at her and gave her a nervous laugh and wave. Mari sat there and just stared at them in thought as they looked back ahead of them, waiting.

“You’re going to burn a hole into her head, Michi,” Yoongi said without turning around to even look at her while making the customer's coffee. Mari looked away from the customer as they nervously laughed. “This is what I mean by scaring people away.”

“It’s alright,” the customer spoke up, “Things like that don't make me uncomfortable.”

“See!” Mari’s eyes lit up, “I’m not as bad as you think I am!” She could actually feel Yoongi’s annoyance even though he was turned around. The customer just laughed and tilted her head to the side, “Well, you’re not that bad, but I wouldn’t do that to every customer that comes in.”

“I don’t do it to every customer. I’m hardly ever in here…” Mari defended herself as the girl looked from Yoongi to Mari.

“Well then I don’t see why he’s giving you so much trouble…” the customer said as Mari nodded in agreement and took a sip of her coffee. As if on cue, the coffee machine’s light turned green and Yoongi poured it into a cup for her.

“There you go,” he said as he put in her total. “That’ll be $3.50.”

“Oh, that’s not bad,” she smiled and pulled out her wallet, “The other coffee place I used to use a lot charged 5 dollars for a small!”

“That’s why this place is better,” Mari added, “We have low prices and the best coffee in town!”

The customer laughed at Mari and grabbed her credit card back from Yoongi, “Thank you for the talk, and the coffee!”

Mari waved after her and Yoongi wiped the counter off again. Mari’s eyes moved back over to Yoongi before she remembered the bags that she left in the booth behind her. “Oh- my bags!” She jumped off the stool she was sitting on and grabbed them from the booth and put them up on the counter.

Yoongi frowned and pointed at the bags, “Those can’t stay there.” He didn’t wait for her to reply before he pulled the off the counter and put them behind it, “What are those for, anyway?”

“I just got back from a business trip,” Mari began explaining, “and Seokjin Oppa told me to come straight here to see him when I got back, so I did.” Mari grabbed her coffee and took a sip, “Though I’m surprised with how hard it’s raining… It wasn’t raining this hard when my plane landed.”

“Oh, that’s where you’ve been,” Yoongi nodded, “I kinda wish that trip lasted another week or so.”

Mari glared and him and took another sip of coffee, “And I definitely did not miss you. I wish Jungkook worked this early instead of you.”

“He does, just not every day,” Yoongi laughed, “Plus it would be a pleasure to not have to see you every morning. Seeing you first thing every day drains my energy.”

Mari ignored his comment and drank some more of her coffee, “I don’t come here to talk to you anyway. I come because I love my brother and supporting him and his coffee shop.”

“Oh please,” Yoongi rolled his eyes, “You do not come here for him, you don’t even see him every time you come in.”

“Yes I do!” Mari defended, “...and maybe also because his coffee is good… but I come here for him, too!”

Yoongi rolled his eyes and took the hat that was on his head off to fix his hair. His hair was a soft blonde and it really looked nice on him, especially when he wore black like the uniform he had on.

Mari’s mind blanked out as she watched him put his hat back on and then rest his back on the counter behind him. He sighed and blew his bangs up as he did so, moving his eyes to look at Mari. He noticed she was practically staring at him and he raised his eyebrows, feeling a smirk place on his face.

Mari seemed to be blanked out as she just continued to look at him, so he decided to mess with her.

“Are you sure you’re not just coming here to stare at me?” He asked, causing her to blink a few times and turn a little red.

“Wh-what’d you say?” She asked a little flustered. He hadn't ever really seen her this way, so he couldn't help but continue to tease her. He moved over in front over her and leaned on the counter

“Are you sure you're here just for your brother, Michi?” Yoongi smirked even more as Mari started to lean away, “There isn't any other reason you come here every morning during my shift?”

Mari quickly began to glare at him while he just found her reaction amusing, “What are you talking about max Min Yoongi? You’ve got to be really arrogant to think I come here to see you. It's not like you’re that attractive or nice to be around.”

As those last words came out of her mouth, she could feel the lie in them. He was undoubtedly attractive, and while he wasn't the best to talk to, Mari honestly enjoyed their arguing back and forth.

Though this situation was a little different.

“Oh?” Was all he said in reply as Mari tried her best to smile and nod. “You’re not very convincing.”

Mari found herself blinking in surprise while she stared at Yoongi. Since when did he get cocky and decide to tease her about something like this? This is the first time anything like this has happened, and it was really weird…

“Min Yoongi, where did this even come from?” Mari shot back, “even if I did have some kind of interest in you, why would you want to acknowledge that fact? I would think that you would act as if you knew nothing and make sure that I knew that you didn't like me.”

Yoongi shrugged and continued to mess with her. He knew she was right because he did that to girls all the time, but there was something about her that made this opportunity too good to pass.

“Why would I do that?” Yoongi asked, but Mari just glared at him. He was just trying to mess with her, and she was not putting up with that. He can insult her and call her names, but playing with her love life is something she was not willing to put up with.

“Min Yoongi,” she glared at him, “Stop it. Go back to just insulting me and telling me about how I ruin your life.”

“But how could I do that when I love you?” He raised his eyebrows and watched in amusement as Mari’s face turned a dark red. Her expressions were all over the place from mad and embarrassed, to upset and confused.

She opened her mouth and closed it a few times before she closed her eyes and thought for a second. Though, she quickly decided she didn't really want to listen to her own thoughts.

‘I just wish he wasn’t just messing with me.’

“Alright, that’s a little too far…” Mari mumbled, trying to get some coherent words out. “Haha, you’re really funny Yoongi.” She progressively got more and more upset as she thought about what he just said, “Is that what you wanted to hear from me?”

Yoongi frowned and looked down at the counter, “No, I was expecting more of an ‘I love you, too’ than a pat on the back.”

Mari glared at him and hit him with the towel that he had been using to clean the counter. “Stop it before I hurt your for real.”

“Aish,” Yoongi grumbled as he grabbed the towel and threw it on the counter behind him. He could feel his hair all in the wrong places as he took the hat off and shook his hair out. He didn’t bother to put the hat back on as he looked back at Mari, “What was that for?”

Mari glared again and reached for a sign that was sitting by the coffee table and hit him with it. “What do you mean ‘what was that for?’? Are you kidding me?”

“Is it bad that you’re fun to mess with?” Yoongi asked as he rubbed the spot on his head that she hit, “It’s not like either of us actually want anything like that.”

Mari attempted to give a quick response to cover up the fact that what he said was a lie, “Even if that was true, you don’t say those things! That’s not messing around, that’s just being straight up mean!”

“Aish, if you want I’ll apologize,” he said with an almost disgusted look on his face. “If I knew you’d be that offended I never would have said anything.”

“You shouldn’t have said anything no matter what I said!” Mari cried, not caring about the customers that were probably behind her trying to enjoy their coffee in peace.

Yoongi sighed and looked at Mari, starting to feel bad for what he said. His intentions for saying it were wrong, and he found himself not totally disgusted with the idea of loving her.

Though the fact that this thought even ran through his mind made him uncomfortable and he looked at the door to the shop, suddenly wishing that he could leave. He can’t like her; not even a little bit. It doesn’t make logical sense.

“Yoongi.” Mari called, but Yoongi didn’t bother looking at her.

“Mianhae, it won’t happen again.” Yoongi replied, move behind the register. As if a miracle happened, a group of customers entered the shop to order some coffee. Mari looked over to the door and sighed, grabbing her coffee and taking a sip. Right before they got to the register, she jumped over the counter and made sure to leave a mark as she disappeared into the back.

Yoongi spotted the muddy smudge on the counter and sighed, quickly placing the towel over the mess and then rushing back to the register to take orders.

AHH That’s the sound of me being happy that you read this, please don’t be scared. This series won’t be long at all- I think I’m only going with three parts... I might squeeze it into two. (totally did not end up being ten parts) Though, I do want to see if people like it! I’ll post the next chapter no matter what, but after being gone for so long it would be really encouraging to see that people will still read my stuff ^^; Thanks for reading!
