When one grasps power, they tend to attempt to hold onto it. There are those, however, who when they grasp power tighten their grip. They lie, cheat, bribe, and kill for power. They are called the Borgias.

The corrupt and power-hungry head of the family, Otto Hightower. The ambitious soldier, Gwayne whose appetite for war was unlike any other. The beautiful but conniving Alicent whose marriages served furthered her family's power.

Rhaenyra couldn’t stand her baby half brother Aegon and offers him to the Goblin Queen. She regrets her decision when Aegon does in fact disappear. Rhaenyra is then visited by the Goblin Queen Alicent, who informs her the only way to get him back is to cross her labyrinth in thirteen hours. Rhaenyra accepts but as she treads the dangerous labyrinth she begins to realize Alicent may have other intentions in luring her to the goblin world.

Antoinette follows the code and values of her family, how it is better to be loved by those beneath you than feared, like a chant in her head. She keeps a smile on her face that she has perfected over time to be warm and approachable to draw others in for a conversation about decadent sweets or the latest gossip of the school. She enjoys making new friends and starting conversations with people, however she does have a hierarchy in her mind of how important certain people are to her and that is how she bases her level of kindness to others. She can be rather spacey and lose herself in her own thoughts if left to her own devices for too long. On the off-chance someone makes her upset or crosses her,  her smiles at them become strained and she hopes for their downfall at the hands of others for she isn't a fan of doing her own dirty work.

Ivan Martavizch

Besides his flaws, and his impatience, Ivan is incredibly independent, often not needing nor wanting help from anyone, not even his best friends. He’s confident in his ability to rule the masses or to rule over Saint Vladimir’s. He knows what he wants and he’s definitely not afraid to get it either. He’s vicious, a dog with a bone and unwilling to part with it. He’s possessive over what he has, or what he deems his, and doesn’t allow people to fuck with those he deems good enough to associate with.
