Also I wanna do more Muse (and others as well at some point when the hyperfixation has died down a bit) covers so:

At some point I may do voice but I am a Baritone and Matt is like the most tenor tenor to ever tenor so the songs sound different on my voice even if I can sing them and I'm still deciding if it's in a good way or a bad way.

Once my piano has improved I'll do something on that too.

It's bass!

I think I know what the answer will be, but the poll is here just in case.

I'm sorry to tell you this, but unfortunately, the answer is practice and not just looking at it for a long time :(

Double sorry to tell you that bass is arguably harder (imo).

how do you even get better at guitar

I've spent ages working on this song and it's my favourite I've ever written. Was gonna try and get it recorded with drums and shit before top surgery but haven't had the chance.

I hope you enjoy! I cock up the chords a bit at the end but aside from that it's a pretty solid demo.

This is gonna be a song title soon. Idk what I'll write the song as, but it'll happen

Strange beings of Tumblr, help me decide on this.

I've been writing my own music (acoustic and vocals only rn) and I wanna record it but I'm stuck between recording it cleaner in separate tracks of recording it all together. On one hand, the cleanness would be nice, but on the other I like a lot of songs that just do raw recordings and a lot of the sound inspiration is from that style.

Ultimately imma do what I like, but persuasion could be nice

Where Does One Begin When Talking About Troy Baker? Not Only Is He One Of The Most Talented, Dynamic,

Where does one begin when talking about Troy Baker? Not only is he one of the most talented, dynamic, and powerful voice actors of our time, but, he's also a musician, who plays in the Silent Hill band. He has lent his voice to some of the most notable anime, cartoon, and video game characters of our time, giving life to two of the most riveting, provocative characters of our age, Booker DeWitt (Bioshock Infinite) and Joel (The Last of Us). In a Golden Age of beautiful storytelling in video games, Troy has woven together real, flawed, complex characters, bringing to life a whole new tapestry of storytelling. It's as if Troy has added beautiful colour and pattern to video games, which had only been spun together in black and white before him. He is truly remarkable, and truly talented. Happy Birthday, Troy Baker. Sorry I'm late (his birthday is April 1st, 1976). You definitely don't look 38. I'll never bash April Fool's Day again. Whether or not you're a vampire, you'll always have the last laugh on April Fool's day, because, honestly, you're possibly immortal. Whether or not that's true physically, you've been immortalised in your amazing work. Thank you a thousand times over for sharing your gifts with us, the fans. We're forever indebted to you. Thank you, Troy Baker, and, Happy Birthday!

Nostalgia

I’ve recently found myself surrounded by memories. I have the habit of living in the past so this comes as no suprise. Only, that this time around, is the nostalgia of a time I don’t recall that well that is on my mind. A time where I only remember the feeling and not the image of those times. In sort of a sentimental nostalgia.

Take this as an example: my first day in orchestra class.

Visually what I remember is a L shaped room full of students and noise. They were tunning. Me and some other 5 students stood there not quite knowing what to do. The teacher/maestro walks in and the class gets quieter. Then the teacher - shout out to the best maestro ever, Alexandre Madeira - and he says: ā€œAs you might’ve noticed we’ve got some new people this year. Those who are new please stand up and say your name.ā€ We looked at each other and stood up and each one of us, shyly, said our name and sat down. The maestro explained how the classes worked and we listened carefully.

I didn’t fall in love with the class right away. Firstly, because it ended at 8 pm in a friday, secondly because I felt like I didn’t belong to the big group, you know? Like I wasn’t part of the orchestra. But then this older girl that sat next to me in class started talking to me. She played the accordion and I play the cello and, despite that, she help me a lot and we became good friends. Since then I became excited to go to class, and, when I understood that I was part of it, I fell in love. When I understood that my sound made a diference in the whole of the orchestra, I fell in love.

Today that girl texted me inviting me and some of the people from those times to have a lunch someday. In the moment her name popped up in my screen all of those feelings and memories came rushing back and it was quite nice. I hope I remembered more things like the name of some of the people who played with me. I feel like I could’ve been their friend but 3 months after the episode I narrated, COVID hit us and I didn’t go to class for the next 2 years which was really sad.

Sentimentally, I have to say that I feel this sort of regret and pitty for not having enjoyed it more. Like as if I wished I had been born earlier and had been part of that for a longet time, I mean now I’m one the oldest member of the orchestra, next year I’ll be the oldest member. Everytime I walk into that classroom I feel what I felt that day only that now I wish I didn’t have to leave it even though I know it is time to let it go.
