Sometimes I just have to stop and sit awestruck thinking about what a completely batshit bonkers beat Ginuwine- Pony has. It's a beat built around that burpy "yeah" synth, a sound effect of running from Hanna-Barbera cartoons, and what sounds like a car crash laid over snares slinking forward at 60 bpm. And it's filthy and making out sloppy style with svelte, icy synths that come over every chorus. Perfect song. No wonder this cover looks like it should have been released by 4AD.
