We’re studying Medea (by Euripides) in school, and I’ve been really into bnha recently……
Long story short, imagine a Medea-style story but about All For One.
Like, scratch vigilante/ villain Deku, if being able to explore the dawn of quirks from the perspective of either one of the most influential brothers isn’t the best study of morality and narrative building, I don’t know what is.

Izuku watched intently as Aizawa explained a new assignment.. At its barebones, it was a personality swap assignment. The class would be able to choose who they wanted to act as. The class would then have to try to figure out who a person was acting as.
But they had free reign!
They’d have to fill out a paper of course, but to keep it a surprise, the papers would be turned in after the day was over, and Aizawa-sensei would grade them accordingly.
He bit his lip nervously. ..He wanted to be someone from OFA, maybe. The biggest obvious one was Shimura Nana, but he didn’t know how he felt about acting as a female, and he didn’t want to give All Might a heart attack.
There was Yoichi, but.. At this rate, they probably shared too many mannerisms, and if he just put ‘Shigaraki Yoichi’ on the paper.. Ah, the police would come knocking surely.
In his room, he contemplated this as he sat at his desk, tapping his pen against the surface, before– He shot up. That was it! The surface!
Izuku pushed his wheel-ed chair back and calmed his mind, activating OFA but not using it to do anything, just sitting there. --

You know! Like those various Ghosts over in the Haunted McGuffin department! Like? Is YOUR inherited sword or ring or, say, Quirk? Filled with the souls of your predecessors? Yep! That's their royal department! They're with the census and Aid offices.

So now he's here! With his uncomfortable uniform, clip on bow tie, and clip board. Trying to interview these guys who are NOT being helpful. All they're shouting is "who are you?" And "how did you get in here?!" And Quirk something or other... Look, buddy(s)! He has places to BE!
Answer the questions!
But they won't! Because Some Dude? Just showed up inside One For All. With a clipboard. He's hanging out in Izuku's subconscious. Keeps STICKING HIS WHOLE ASS HEAD out of Izuku's chest like a chest-burster to try and interview HIM too. Pull Yagi into it.

Izuku has AFO but repressed it for years. Now that he has OFA he's starting to lose control.
All quirks want to be used and all quirk come with urges. If Izuku hadn't noticed that he had AFO, he still got to deal with the urges and contained them through quirk analysis and sheer enthusiasm when it comes to hero. Unfortunately, getting his first quirk breaks the fragile balance he used to have.
He doesn't realize what it means at first but the urge is here. He wants more quirks. He wants to see what makes them tick. He wants to use them. But since he doesn't realize that it's his quirk manifesting, he internalizes the hell out of it.
Except that internalizing AFO means that he accidentally but fortunately unlocks the quirks inside OFA. He unlocks Blackwhip while fighting Overhaul. After that, it's a mad search for more quirks, to know what they do, all in all, he is far more invested and frantic in the discovery of the OFA quirks.
"Could you please calm down with all your new quirks?" *hungry stare at whoever is talking's quirk* "Never mind!"
The urges get worse when he is stressed or upset.
He doesn't explain anything to his class. They just guess and one day, Uraraka is "Hey, I can't give you my quirk but you seem stressed so you can play with it a little. If you want."
And yes, he would love to play with the quirk. Thank you, Uraraka. You're a real friend.
The rest of the class joins in and they find out that it's not that Izuku needs to steal the quirks and hold them forever but his brain needs enrichment and if he goes a month without playing with a new quirk, he starts to get stir crazy.
So not only does everyone learns not to interrupt his quirk ramble (he needs it! It's good for his brain!) but every time he looks upset or stressed, he must fend a hoard of classmates who are "Hey, you can hold my quirk!/You want quirk?/ Here, take a little quirk, as a treat."
"I am not upset! I was thinking about what to eat for lunch! I swear!" "How about some hardening quirk for lunch?" "Kirishima, you know I don't actually eat quirks. T_T"
Needless to say, he will absolutely take quirks from villains. And his whole class can tell because he is hella relaxed for two months when he takes one.

I just realized that Izuku was muffled for nearly his entire speech to the vestiges.
That is until he reaches his main thesis at the heart of what he wants to do, which is also when he shifts into his toddler form.
Because that’s who he truly is, a kid who has always wanted to save people. That desire has always been at the core of who he is as a person, and that’s why it can be expressed loud and clear in OFA.
