Hakusembe River Lodge is situated 16 km west of Rundu in the Caprivi. The thatched chalets overlook the banks of the Kavango River. This Lodge is well known for bird watching. Over 300 bird species are recorded in the area and you will be bound to spot something unusual, or worship the sun beside the beautiful swimming pool. Activities include river safaris, bird watching (over 400 species locally), bream and tiger fishing, sunset cruises, etc.

Über 300 Vogelarten sind in der Gegend registriert und Sie werden bestimmt etwas Ungewöhnliches entdecken oder die Sonne am Schwimmbad genießen. Zu den Aktivitäten gehören Flusssafaris, Vogelbeobachtung, Angeln, Sonnenuntergangskreuzfahrten etc. 

The Erongo Wilderness Lodge is situated only 12 km west of Omaruru in the spectecular Erongo Mountains. The lodge offers ten luxurious tented chalets, built on stilts among the towering granite boulders of the Erongo.

The restaurant is set on top of a hill, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

Jacana Camp situated about 25 kilometres west of Mombo, outside the Moremi Game reserve on the Jao flats, is a truly water-oriented camp and offers mokoro and walking safaris all year round. Game drives are also on offer year round. The camp is set in one of the most densely populated wetland areas for Sitatunga and Red Lechwe. Wildlife concentrations depend on the water flow and volume and thus change from season to season but all the big animals can be found in the area including elephant, lion, leopard and buffalo.

Das Jacana Camp befindet sich 25 Kilometer westlich von Mombo, außerhalb des Moremi Wildtierreservats auf dem Jao Konzessionsgebiets. Es ist ein Camp bei dem Wasseraktivitäten im Vordergrund stehen. Mokoro –und Fußsafaris werden ganzjährig angeboten. Auch Safarifahrten können das ganze Jahr gebucht werden. Das Camp liegt in einem Feuchtgebiet mit der größten Dichte an Sitatunga und Letchwe Antilopen. Die Wildtierdichte hängt vom Wasserfluss und dem Volumen ab und verändert sich somit saisonal. Alle großen Tiere wie unter anderem Elefanten, Löwen, Leoparden und Büffel sind jedoch in dieser Gegend zu finden.

Amanzi River Camp is situated halfway between Cape Town and Windhoek, this is the ideal stay over on your way to or from Namibia as well as the perfect take-off point to destinations such as the Fish River Canyon, Namib Desert and Orange River with its canoe excursions, tours, etc. The region is malaria-free and the river water is free of bilharzia. There are no crocodiles or hippos. This section of the Orange River is known for its abundance of yellowfish, mudfish and catfish.

Das Amanzi River Camp liegt auf halber Strecke zwischen Kapstadt und Windhoek. Dies ist der ideale Zwischenstopp auf dem Weg von oder nach Namibia sowie der perfekte Startpunkt zu Zielen wie dem Fish River Canyon, der Namib-Wüste und dem Orange River mit Kanuausflüge, Touren usw. Die Region ist malariafrei und das Flusswasser ist frei von Bilharziose. Es gibt keine Krokodile oder Flusspferde. Dieser Abschnitt des Orange River ist bekannt für seine Fülle an Gelbfischen, Schlammfischen und Welsen.

Once known as Mamili the National Park was renamed in 2013 to Nkasa Rupara NP. Nkasa and Rupara are Siyeyi words referring to the two islands of the park that never get flooded. The old Name Mamili, referred to the seven chiefs of that name who, since 1864, have ruled over the Mafwe people living in this eastern section of the Caprivi Region. Nkasa Rupara National Park’s ecosystem types are typical of the Okavango Delta wetlands and associated habitats, with relatively narrow, permanently filled main channels of the Kwando / Linyanti Rivers, several periodically (to an extent this can be seasonal) flooded channels.

The Kwando / Linyanti Rivers have a relatively narrow catchment, most of which lies in Angola. As rains in Angola can easily miss the catchment, the river’s flooding regime can vary considerably, with the whole area extensively flooded in some years while in others much of it remains dry.

Jackalberry Tented Camp enjoys its prime location which make a perfect base for Park experience and exploration. The lodge is located on the Linyanti river lagoons where a large population of the park’s wildlife roams freely and could be spotted from the lodge decks through the floodplains of Namibia and woodlands of Botswana just across the river.

Der National Park, einst als Mamili bekannt, wurde 2013 in Nkasa Rupara NP umbenannt. Nkasa und Rupara sind Siyeyi-Wörter, die sich auf die beiden Inseln des Parks beziehen, die nie überflutet werden. Der alte Name Mamili bezog sich auf die sieben Häuptlinge dieses Namens, die seit 1864 über die Mafwe herrschen, die in diesem östlichen Teil der Region Caprivi leben. Die Ökosystemtypen des Nkasa Rupara-Nationalparks sind typisch für die Feuchtgebiete des Okavango-Deltas und die damit verbundenen Lebensräume mit relativ engen, dauerhaft gefüllten Hauptkanälen der Flüsse Kwando / Linyanti, von denen mehrere periodisch (in gewissem Umfang saisonabhängig) überflutet werden. Die Flüsse Kwando / Linyanti haben ein relativ enges Einzugsgebiet, das größtenteils in Angola liegt. Da Regenfälle in Angola das Einzugsgebiet leicht verfehlen können, kann das Hochwasseraufkommen des Flusses erheblich variieren, wobei das gesamte Gebiet in einigen Jahren stark überflutet wird, während in anderen ein Großteil davon trocken bleibt.

Das Jackalberry Tented Camp ist durch die einmalige Lage ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Parkerlebnisse und Erkundungen. Die Unterkunft befindet sich in den Lagunen des Linyanti-Flusses, in denen sich große Populationen der Wildtiere des Parks frei bewegen und von den Decks der Lodge aus durch die Auen Namibias und die Wälder Botswanas auf der anderen Seite des Flusses gesichtet werden können.

Volker and Susanne Ledermann had a dream: to preserve a piece of original Africa. In 1993 they fulfilled this on the back then agricultural farm Etusis. The Etusis Nature and Game Reserve was gradually expanded to its 21,000 hectares today. Other than most wildlife reserves in Namibia, we consciously avoid fences, which suppress the natural migrations of the wild: zebras, antelopes, leopards and many other animals have complete freedom to roam on Etusis. The Etusis Lodge was built a little later in the heart of the reserve – with a gentle ecologically sustainable tourism concept, in which mankind understands herself as a guest. This has created jobs for the local community and, last but not least, we are trying to give each of our guests an impression of the uniqueness of Namibian nature.

Volker und Susanne Ledermann hatten einen Traum: ein Stück ursprüngliches Afrika zu bewahren. 1993 erfüllten sie dies auf dem damaligen Farm Etusis. Das Natur- und Wildreservat Etusis wurde schrittweise auf 21.000 Hektar erweitert. Anders als die meisten Wildreservate in Namibia werden Zäune bewusst vermieden, die die natürlichen Wildwanderungen unterbrechen: Zebras, Antilopen, Leoparden und viele andere Tiere haben die völlige Freiheit, sich auf Etusis zu bewegen. Die Etusis Lodge wurde wenig später im Herzen des Reservats gebaut - mit einem sanften, ökologisch nachhaltigen Tourismuskonzept, in dem sich die Menschheit als Gast versteht. Dies hat Arbeitsplätze für die lokale Gemeinschaft geschaffen und nicht zuletzt wird versucht, jedem Gast einen Eindruck von der Einzigartigkeit der namibischen Natur zu vermitteln.
