SCP-049 Headcanons

-Cats and corvids are the only creatures he can touch without killing. He’s had a few as companions from time to time. Cats especially like kneading his robes. He doesn’t seem to mind this, and actually finds it quite comforting.

-While lavender is his favorite scent, he actually has a large essential oil collection in his medical bag. He can sometimes be found using them after long surgeries, presumably to freshen up a bit.

-He is well versed in classic literature, especially in Latin and Greek. Ask him to recite some for you sometime; it’s quite relaxing! (Coincidentally, this is one of the only things he and SCP-035 have in common.)

-He doesn’t care for modern food very much, as most of it is Pestilent. Presumably, he’s somehow detecting the preservatives and man-made chemicals, as he does not have this complaint about organic offerings.

-Though he does not charge for treatment, he has lost many coins in his doctor’s bag over the centuries. Considering how much medieval coins are worth at auction, this essentially makes him a millionaire. Alas, unlike most doctors, he has no use for money.

Ra’s moves to Florida and lives a double life as a retiree. The ladies can’t get enough of him. (Bonus points: He also discovers a newfound appreciation for Hawaiian shirts.)

-Harley Quinn and the Joker suffer a nasty break-up. (What’s new?) On a whim, Poison Ivy sets her up on a blind date with the Scarecrow. Turns out, their shared interest in psychology isn’t the only thing they have in common. When the Joker decides he wants Harley back, he finds out he has some serious competition.

More SCP Foundation/Addams Family Headcanons

I didn’t expect so many people to like this crossover idea, so here’s some more SCP/Addams goodness. Enjoy!

-The Possessive Mask (SCP-035): He’s Morticia Addams’ old drama teacher. He still comes over on occasion to put on one-man shows for the family. Uncle Fester sometimes wears the mask for his slime’s rejuvenating properties. (No new hair yet, but here’s hoping!) The Mask is quite the flirt, and Grandmama is more than happy to reciprocate.

-With Many Voices (SCP-939): One of these followed Pugsley home from school one day and became a family pet for about two weeks. (The kids especially enjoyed playing Marco Polo with her.) Unfortunately, her “owners” eventually came to reclaim her, and turned down Gomez’s offer of $100,000 dollars for her. But, anyone dressed in all black can’t be that bad, right? Even if they are a little stuffy.

●●|●●●●●|●●|●: He’s actually a distant relative on Cousin Itt’s side of the family. They always send his invitations to family reunions at the last minute as he always comes the moment they’re written. He doesn’t talk much, but loves giving hugs. Cousin Itt is the only one who can completely understand him.

-The Red Pool (SCP-354): The Red Pool used to be one of the family’s favorite wilderness retreats until that research institute took it over. (Probably out to bottle and sell its rejuvenating waters!) Pugsley misses playing with the giant squid, and Wednesday enjoyed riding the elemental tigers. Gomez has reached out to the new owners to see if they’d be interested in selling, but so far no dice. (Morticia: “Darling, aren’t those the same men who came for the talking hound?” Gomez: “No wonder they won’t sell! They have excellent taste.”)
