I Still Think About The Blue Highlighter You Gave Me. I Pretended I Didn't Really Want It, But You Insisted
I still think about the blue highlighter you gave me. I pretended I didn't really want it, but you insisted that I needed it-- it was drying out anyway, you said. I put it in my pencil case, where I later put more highlighters. But it's okay because-- I can always pick out your blue one by its missing stickers and how the transparent plastic turned grey from your use. Even when I do pick it out, I can never bring myself to use it for more than a couple seconds. I've kept it just like you gave it to me. A little dried out, but still warm from when you last touched it. I think it could be the comfort of familiarity, but I just want to carry that piece of you inside my pencil case forever.

Subways is literally a bottom because you tell them exactly what you want at the store and they follow your directions. Dominos is a top because you're there for pizza and all you do is tell them what TOPpings you want. Thank you for coming to my TedTalk.
