Deuce was hanging out with the ramshackle dorm prefect, they were actually working on an assignment, they were put in pairs when they had a snag in their work and suggested that they go to the library instead. “Well c’mon let’s go.” She said with a smile, his face flushed as he averted his gaze. “G-give me like five minutes I can’t stand up yet..” he stated, loudly pulling the hem of his blazer down. “Why not? Did your leg fall asleep?” She asked putting her books in her bag. “S-something like that..” he said gulping as he bit his lip. He let out of breath as he shut his eyes, trying to calm himself. “Don’t think, don’t think, don’t think.” he mumbled to himself. “What?” She asked looking at him, not hearing what he said. “S-sorry, sorry I didn’t mean to say that out loud ignore me!” he said, raising his hands as he sat up, her eyes widened as she realised what the problem was. His face turned nearly as red as Riddle’s hair as he quickly covered himself and turned away from her. “I’M SORRY YOU HAD TO SEE THAT!!” he said his shoulders hung and his knees pressed together. Her face flushed as she realised the situation. “Well I guess somethings awoken instead of falling asleep.” She said chuckling as she put down her bag. “Heh heh…” Deuce said nervously his face flushed with embarrassment. “You want some help?” She asked bluntly. “Yesss….” He said sadly the froze as he looked over at her. “Wait what did you say?” She smirked as she sad down next to him. “I said do you want some help?” She asked once more placing a hand on his thigh. “I-I-I! N-no I couldn’t, y-you d-d-don’t!!” He stuttered words never saying a complete sentence as his mind was in shambles uncertain if his was dreaming or not. “It’s alright, Deuce I wanna help you out since you help me with a lot of things so it’s alright if I help you.” She smiled placing her free hand on his shoulder as well as her chin resting her cheek against his neck her body pressing against his back. He jumped at her touch as he looked down pressing his lips together. “…only if you don’t look at me..” he mumbled his ears flushed as much as his face. “Alright then guide my hand then.” She said softly moving her face to rest on his back her hand moving to his other shoulder while the one on his thigh moved to show him her palm.
He gulped and let out a straggled breath as he undid his belt buckle and released his hardening length the embarrassment heavy on his shoulders as he gently took her hand in his moving it towards his length but stopping before it made contact. “I-I can’t…” he said softly shame eating away inside of him. “It’s alright.” She said moving her hand to find his length her fingers brushing against it. Summary: It's Deuce's birthday, and you decided to celebrate your way!

It was a warm day, it being the beginning of June and all. It was a good time to have a birthday. All exams seemed to be finished, and it was time to chill.
Deuce was one of the lucky people to have a birthday in the summer time. But what he didn’t know was that this year was going to be different from other years.
Well, that was a given since he was at Night Raven College and had new friends to celebrate with. As well as someone who he loved dearly.
You.
But you were going to make this birthday a good one for Deuce. He told you about previous years of it being small and with his mom mostly, and then just time on his own. It made you feel a bit sad, but you took it upon yourself to make a surprise birthday party for Deuce.
You had tasked Yuu, Grim, and Ace to distract the birthday boy as Jack, Sebek, and Epel to help you set up the surprise party. It was near the statues of the Seven, on a grassy area that wasn’t being used for anything.
Luckily, with enough begging Mr. Crowley let you use it. You thought it would be a good idea because it’s where you and Yuu first met Deuce and Ace. It was hard to work with Sebek because of getting him to do things without him saying something about being a weak human. Epel was much more helpful but went overboard because he was trying to prove himself of being strong enough to do things on his own.
Jack seemed to be the only helpful one. Though, you were grateful that they were all helping you plan for Deuce’s party. They all seemed to share parts they looked forward to. Epel wanted to try the various treats Trey had dropped off for the small party. Sebek wanted to see all the gifts just to prove that he got something better than everyone else.
And Jack was just happy to relax after setting up. Riddle had offered you to use the dorm room for a place to use as a place to celebrate, but you gently declined. It wasn’t as if they were gonna hold a big birthday bash for Deuce in their own dorm. Heartslabyul takes birthdays, and unbirthdays, very seriously.
But you just wanted a small personal party for Deuce, and he had already known about the Heartslabyul birthday bash, so there wasn’t going to be anything really special about it.
No offense to them, of course, but what you wanted to accomplish was something different. A small, intimate party with the people he has befriended over the year of attending NRC would be magical, at least in your mind.
Epel then walked up to you as you set up the decently sized circle table adorned in Deuce’s favorite colors and spade shapes on a garland wrapped around the rim.
The tree that gave a good amount of shade had fairy lights of all the suits in a deck of cards, and normal white fairy lights. It looked enchanting. The table had 8 chairs around it, and one of them was decorated with garlands all around it and a balloon that said ‘Birthday King’ on it.
“Uhm Y/n! We finished with the banners.”
You looked at Epel and nodded.
“Thanks Epel!”
You gave the lavender haired boy a soft smile. You walked off away from the group to call Yuu. He answered swiftly as you whispered into the microphone.
“Go ahead and bring the birthday boy over! Remember the excuse!”
Yuu hummed in response as a signifier that he understood. Before the two of you hung up, you heard Grimm asking you if the party was ready. Out of a bit of a panic, you hung up. You had maybe 5 minutes to set up the small curtain to hide everything.
You told the three boys who were helping you to sit in their respective chairs as they waited for you to pull back the curtain to reveal the set-up for the party. Luckily it was a quick set up since most of it was already up.
You turned around, hearing the patter of feet behind you. Before you could turn around, you were enveloped into a tight embrace. You were startled, but looked to see Deuce.
“Hey Deuce! How ar-”
“Are you okay!?”
You were confused.
“What? Yeah, I’m okay.”
Deuce sighed in relief to see that you weren’t hurt.
“Why do you ask?”
As Yuu, Grim, and Ace were walking up, your gaze went to them. They waved and you waved back.
“Ace and Yuu told me that you were in trouble.”
You deadpanned. Of course, they did. What were you expecting, really? You exhaled, which caused Deuce to panic a bit. Before he could speak again, Ace slung his arm around Deuce and gave you a thumbs up.
Grim and Yuu took their place to pull the curtains away as you stood in the middle. After a 1, 2, 3 count, Yuu and Grim revealed the birthday set up as you all screamed out.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEUCE!”
He was taken aback, at a loss for words. Deuce didn’t know how to respond. He was going to start to cry, but then you pulled him into his seat. You all enjoyed a great birthday. Deuce was so grateful for what everyone did. But he was especially grateful to you. Sure, all of his friends helped, but it was your effort that touched his heart the most.
Throughout the whole small celebration, Deuce was blushing the whole time. No one seemed to notice because they were all caught up in the festivities, but his eyes never wavered off of you. As the sun set, the first years went back to their respective dorms. You were about to leave too since it was only you, Grim, Deuce, and Yuu.
Yuu and Grim were tired and walking off, saying that you could meet them later at the dorm. You nodded, so you were tasked with the cleanup. You sighed but noticed Deuce hadn’t left yet. You looked at him as you held the folded up cloth of the table.
“You should go back to your dorm, Riddle will be upset if you’re late.” He shook his head in disagreement. “I think he would be more upset that I didn’t help you.”
You blushed a bit. It was clear that everyone you have met at NCR cared about you; it was new to you. Deuce walked up to the table and disassembled it along with the chairs. You were stiff, just watching him clean up. You walked up to him and took one of the chairs out of his hand.
“Well, the birthday star shouldn’t clean up after their own party.”
You giggled a bit, and that giggle caused Deuce to blush more. After you had put the chair down, Deuce walked up to you. He cupped your face as you blushed.
“I want to help you as a thank you.”
You were a bit in a flustered loop in your mind. You didn’t expect Deuce to do this, cup our face that is and hold you here. Then he did something unexpected. He entrapped your lips in his, and for a minute you two stood there with your lips together.
Once he released your face from his hands, it took him a bit to process what he just did. His face bursted in a red flush. You too were flustered and didn’t know what to say. As you were about to walk away and try to finish cleaning up before someone came to yell at you, Deuce pulled you into a hug.
“I’m sorry if that wasn’t okay. I should have asked first.”
You nodded in acknowledgement.
“I-it's okay..”
It was clear you were quite stunned by Deuce’s behavior. It wasn’t like him to be this forward about his feelings, nevertheless this confident with actions like this.
“I just wanted an extra birthday present.”
You blushed more at Deuce’s words. After that, he let go and continued to clean up. Deuce could proudly say that this was the best birthday he has ever had! No offense to the small parties he’s had with his mom, but this year it was with you, and you made him just as happy.

DEUCE SPADE
Deuce was very happy that you picked him for his lessons, wanting to level up his various cards. He noticed a habit you had, however, listening to music while you played the game. It put a smile on his face as he heard you humming the tune. The lessons would mostly go over Deuce’s head because he was more focused on the song you were playing. He couldn’t help but blush deeply as he felt that this song was directed at him.
“I'd sell my own bones for sapphire stones. 'Cause blue is your favourite colour”
That one lyric did something to his heartstrings. Deuce’s eyes were gleaming, deep in his heart and his mind he hoped that you directed that at him. Sure, his favorite color might not have been blue, but it seemingly meant that you would do anything to make him smile. The god over Twisted Wonderland wanted to make him happy. He started to kick his legs under the desk, feeling an overwhelming feeling of joy. This meant you loved him, even if it was a little bit.
Deuce was trying too hard to conceptualize your feelings, reading a bit too much into the song. All his thoughts were trying to rationalize that one lyric. His eyes were spinning to represent what was going on inside him. He felt his heart beat even faster the more his mind was stuck on that one song lyric. Nothing around him, except you, could pull him out of his lovesick spiraling mind.
It took him a while to stop the swarming ideas and focus back on you. Deuce just stared at you as you were exiting the lessons. He wished you stayed a little longer, even if he was on your main screen, so he could tell you his thoughts. Deuce’s lips curled into a huge smile, one that kind of hurt his cheeks. He pledged to himself after the last lesson ended, as a compromise, bringing a hand to his heart.
“I’ll try my best to make you happy too, oh great creator!”
SILVER
Silver was very prideful the moment you picked one of his cards to use for the exams. It meant that he got to fight for you, and he was used to fighting for others. He is a knight in training, after all, so could you really blame him for wanting to be your knight? During the exams, there were times where your team got close to losing, but only because you kept getting distracted by the music you were listening too. Silver had heard the music, but this one song, along with one particular lyric, had caught his attention.
“But don't go outside, it's dangerous tonight. Without me right here by your side”
Silver paused in the middle of his attack, which wasn’t a good idea, but he couldn’t help it. That one lyric caught him off guard. And it came out of your lips as you sang along. It must have meant something. A sign from you, the overseeing creator of this world, as you looked at him.
Silver tried his best not to worry too much about it, focusing so much on the fight. But that lyric buzzed around in his head, over and over again. It was on repeat, as if it were a mantra or a holy prayer to you. He wondered if you would say this to anyone else, or if it was just reserved to him. Silver tried to keep his composure and keep his focus on his attacks on the battle.
As the final exam finished up, he felt proud he won all five of them, but also feeling so prideful about that one lyric. It didn’t leave Silver’s mind as he stared at you through the victory screen. He saw your bright smile, further confirming that the lyric you muttered was directed at him. Silver had so much love and joy in his heart as you closed the victory screen. He still watched you on the main screen, hoping you heard his promise.
“I will protect you too, and I’m honored you wish to protect me.”
