I headcanon this is why Nuffink keeps banging his head for no reason :D And after a while Astrid gets so used to it because he never stopped, so she no longer comments when he does it again. But in the beginning she was really furious with Tuffnut :^D

Tuffnut: Doing stuff.

Hiccup: I don’t like the sound of that. Where’s Astrid?

Tuffnut: Trying to stop Snotlout from doing the stuff.

Hiccup: And Ruffnut?

Tuffnut: Trying to stop Astrid from stopping Snotlout from doing the stuff.

Hiccup: I see. And what are you doing here then?

Tuffnut: I’m supposed to stop you from stopping Ruffnut from stopping Astrid from stopping Snotlout from doing the stuff.

I always imagine these twin’s fight would be brutal as….

Please ignore Ruffnut constantly taking her helmet off and on again…. :V rookie mistake.

They’re supposed to be electric eels but I chose to colour them in like their Zippleback and now they look more like some sort of dragon-eel-fusion. Oh well.

I was torn between eel, octopus, and jellyfish, I think they all fit them tbh! Any ideas for the rest of the gang?

The twins: Everything in life is free if you run fast enough

(Language warning, just to be safe) headcanon that the only reason Hiccup isn’t dropping f-bombs left and right is because he’s following the Toddler Rule™ with the twins because if there’s two things I love it’s Hiccup swearing and Hiccup having a a paternal/fraternal relationship with the twins

Like ever since he started hanging out with the gang, he quickly realized that the twins will over-eagerly parrot back anything even slightly eyebrow raising like it’s some sort of a game, so it’s best to avoid swearing.
