The movie was FANTASTIC! And the reason why is shown in this video. Everyone in it had such a passion for the story and the songs. Hugh just had cancer removed from his nose and had 80 stitches the day before this was filmed. He was told NOT to sing or the stitches could burst. He did good doing as told till the last songâŠand then he just couldnât stay quiet any longer! Gives me goosebumps every time I watch this! If you havenât seen The Greatest Showman yetâŠDO IT! NOW! Soooooo good!!

This is the greatest show!
I saw the Greatest showman and I had this super cute AU idea! Vanoss had wanted to be a magician his whole life, but was too shy to stand in front of the crowds and perform. Delirious (a basic trapeze artist at the time) knew he was passionate about it, so he decided to help him overcome his fear by offering to be on the stage with him.
One day the two had a small performance in the middle of town, but little did they know that another magician was standing in the crowd. One of the worldâs greatest magicians, at that. He approached Vanoss after the show, and V about passed out, but the magician was very impressed with Vâs skills. So he offered to take them to one of his performances, where he then pulled V from the crowd and told him to do some magic. V was terrified, but he sucked it up and performed a nearly impossible illusion. Everyone was amazed, and V got a lot of attention.
He got so much attention he ended up getting his own performance in a nearby circus, where he was able to live his life-long dream with Del by his side as his assistant. Del was able to go alongside the other trapeze artists in the circus, watching V from above. V made no mistakes, performed with confidence, and the show went perfectly. After an incredible finale, with joyful tears streaming down his face, he and Del embraced as the crowd cheered loudly.
Years later, he took the title as the Worldâs Greatest Magician :D

Musical fandoms are so weird because there will always be a song with the most impressive fucking vocals ever and lyrics that go so hard and that will be the song that gets called boring
Kindergarten boyfriend from heathers, heart of stone from six and (idk if this one counts as a musical) tightrope from the greatest showman are the first ones I thought of but I swear every musical has a song that's "boring" that is literally so impressive

Watching the "from now on" behind the scenes after you've seen Jeremy Jordan's perspective is sm sadder. And my mum put it on bc she loves Hugh Jackman and I was singing along while just staring at Jeremy

Dear Diary,
Today I watched The Greatest Showman for the first time. I loved it with my entire being, it is the the best thing that has ever happened to me. The me before today was an idiot for not watching it. I'm also obsessed with the soundtrack.
P.S. I'm rewatching it for the third time today. And no, this is not obsessive behaviour.
