Mario games: The world is grand and open, colorful and friendly! There are plenty of dangers, but there are also kindly residents all around willing to give you a word of advice or encouragement. You are light and springy, filled to the brim with joy and enthusiasm! There is a job to do, but the path on the way is a veritable playground. The horizon is the limit and the world is your oyster.
Luigi games: You're forced into tiny rooms and narrow hallways where everything is dark and ominous. The claustrophobia of your surroundings is emphasized by the heavy piece of machinery tied to your back, rendering you unable to climb or jump. The best you can do is run, and run you will, because everything wants you dead except for a morally grey old scientist who cares more about research than survival, and a ghost dog who doesn't even comprehend how much danger you're in. Good luck, fucker.

An idea I had for a hypothetical Yoshi species that evolved through eating Dash Peppers! Generally just a fun concept I wanted to make a reference sheet for.

What do you think of that silly theory about Rosalina being Luigi's kid?
(For those new to the fandom: in Mario Galaxy games Rosalina's backstory reveals that she comes from a mario universe existed hundreds of years before the MG one. It is implied that cycle's versions of Peach and Mario could be the girl's parents but this youtuber fried some brains with his theory that Luigi is the dad.)
Only dummies can believe 'Game Theory' on Mario things. The footage in the infamous video "Rosalina Unmasked Part 2" itself contradicts Matpat's words. Sadly dummies exist in big numbers.

How many times did we have to hear this BS? It is a family series, so yes of course it relies heavily on the players of tomorrow, big scoop! But is it a 'Dora The Explorer' of videogames? No. If that was the case there would not be a tear-jerker origin story skillfully hidden in Mario Galaxy, and you certainly would not remember Paper Mario titles so fondly. Chills are always on the menĂą in this colorful multiverse.
