Solar Eclipse Shadows
These solar eclipse shadows form due to the distance between the sun and the leaves on the trees. The distance and the proximity of the leaves to one another cause for a "lensing" type effect, making the eclipse shadow clearer to the human eye.

When the teach announced that the topic we are now learning in science is cells and biology, at the classes demands, he confirmed to us that mitochondria is the power house of the cell, and we cheered. We then followed that with our research online for word definitions only to confirm it again and again. The source I found was from a search about what DNA is (https://medlineplus.gov/genetics/understanding/basics/dna/).
Then when we left school we saw that a car had driven onto the field, and although we had many theories on how, no one could figure out why.
Update: We have now learned that the mitochondria is not only the power house of the cell, but it is actually the power house of cellular respiration! This was following the teacher making everyone do a bunch of burpees (for science reasons), talking about hockey for some reason, then (after) instantly realizing why everyone just uses ‘power house’ because the actually scientific descriptions for the mitochondria and its functions are just a confusing mouthful of words.

Part 1
Your heals clicked and clacked as you make your way to the living room, as you entered the room Steve stood up and gave you a look of concern look then sat down when he didn't see any distress on your face. You sat in the armchair, looking at your papers, biting your lip, making sure there was nothing else you could do at this moment.
"Good news first.. bucky should make a full recovery and there's no long term damage, the rush surrounding his face will die done duo to the super serum and cream we can provide him-" you were about to get to the not so good news when a irritated voice pipes up from the back. Sharon. "Can you get on with it, like we get it you 'saved him' just tell me what's wrong with him" She states as everyone just stares at her in disbelief, you blink a few times before ignoring her statement completely.
"As I was saying, the issue is the substance sprayed in Mr Barnes' face - well, uhh - to put it simply, it would affect how and what the brain releases chemically. So far, his brain has produced more dopamine, and we have a fair guess that it could also produce more oxytocin at an alarming rate."
You got some nods of understanding, some blank faces, and some straight out confused about what's going on, you were about to explain more but you got a notification that you were needing back at medical. Excusing yourself you quickly left the room and made your way down the hall to the medical ward and started praying on the way that no one died, you cursed under your breath for being stylish and wearing your heels and not your crocs or boots.
You slip through the Automatic sliding doors and went to Barnes door scanning your card and finger, the door opened and you quickly went inside locking it behind you, confused as to why you were notified that his vitals changed drastically becuase they looked normal. Then it hit you, They shouldn't be this normal. You unhooked, then sleeping soldier and grabbed the front of his bed, pulling him to the door, unlocking it and dragging it out, yelling for help, and to get the MRI machine ready. Once he's in the machine and getting scanned, you whip out your phone to inform cap that his best friend might be a lot worse than thought to be.
Cap entered just when James was being moved from the room and was being put back. He looked for you and saw you at the desk looking puzzled by his results. Before you could even speak, he knew you would have some big words and to give it to him so simply that even thor would understand.
"The stuff he was sprayed with was so old that it took time kicking in, and now it has the body got so almost stressed it thought its best way to survive was to just go black." You said with a straight face, and Steve understood but also knew you left parts out you couldnt dumb down. "Steve.. if worse comes to worse, he could be in a coma for years.. and the best outcome is memory loss, " which hung in the air for quite some time before he just started nodding and walking around, pacing back and forth. He sat on the ground and just looked shocked and in denial.

When I was crying about how I can't be a physicist cause I'm not the brightest at math and everyone told me I'm the arts type (im Asian and that's supposed to be like somehow derogatory) my dad told me that to a good physicist you gotta be creative and now that I do phyiscs that's soo true man.
Engineering and science are different.

Bistahiversor sealeyi, but plot twist: he looks like a balding uncle. I have a watercolour addiction
2nd piece: bistahiversor battles against pentaceratops, a ceratopsian dinosaur that likely alongside bistahiversor.
Never heard of a bistahiversor? Don't worry, neither had I until a month or two ago. Bistahiversor sealeyi was a tyrannosauriod dinosaur that lived in today's New Mexico, US, 70-83 million years ago. It was a large predator, an estimated 9 meters long (~29ft) and is known from two skull fossil specimens representing both an adult of the species and a juvenile. Similar tyrannosauroids of the tyrannosaurid clade, Bistahiversor shows development of the deadly deep snout evolved in tyrannosaurs for (what we hypothesize from current research) crushing bones. (check out this paper or prehistoric wildlife for more info! :)

hehehe going to the Royal Tyrell Museum again in August, and I am boiling over with an idea
So I've been to the Royal Tyrell 3 times already before this, it is such an amazing museum :,) but this time I want to work on some paleoart if I can
So the plan is to just go around and reconstruct the dinosaurs as they are mounted in the museum, and i think that will be really fun as I usually go off of 2D skeletal drawings as a reference for accuracy, so this’ll be like drawing my dinosaur models… just, skinned and de-meat-ifyed (?)
If anyone a specific Canadian dinosaur or maybe Montana-area ones as well (I think Tyrell has a few) let me know and I can keep an eye out for them :) and hopefully sneak in a little doodle!

we head out for the city thurs, and I'll be at the museum sat & sun I think? So here's some of my "targets" to draw:
-Black beauty (T. rex) and the Dinosaur Hall Tyrannosaurus
-Borealopelta
-Oryctodromeus (if they have one, this was a request, I'll try my best to look for it :)
-The allo and campto in the picture
-Any ornithomimid
-Any ceratopsian
Should I try drawing one of the mammals there? I've never actually tried reconstructing one before (booooo me)

Paleoart Sketching at the Royal Tyrell Museum
I promise I’ll get better photos eventually, but here’s a quick dump from my trip to drumheller! Visited the museum for some amount of hours over two days so I could sketch the mounts, all of these are done on watercolour paper so hopefully when I next post about them, they’ll be painted up and pretty :)
What museum do you guys recommend to go to next? (At least, in North America)
Hopefully going back for visit number 6 next year! (I’m so greedy, I need to go back again and again)

Black beauty (Tyrannosaurus rex) had a nice little chat with a photographer while drawing this one, we were both struggling to perform our arts with the massive crowd ;-; luckily day two was a lot less busy, I went first thing in the morning rather then midday.
Ornithomimus brevitertius, as to which the species Google refused to elaborate whether it’s synonymous with a different dinosaur species or genus so to this day I am unsure if it is a valid radon :,D regardless, this was probably my favourite sketch, working on painting it rn
I don’t remember the tag on this one, gonna guess it was a type of corythosaurus?

📝 Dates would usually happen after a big breakthrough, finishing a big project, or if he's been in work mode for a longer than usual period of time

📝 They don't happen too often, so take lots of photos
📝 He takes so much time when it comes to planning a date for the two of you, it looks like he's back in work mode
📝 At times it's difficult to differentiate between the two, which he takes slight advantage of
📝 If you think he's working on a project, then he could actually be planning a date for the two of you
📝 They get sprung on you at such random times you never know when it's gonna happen
📝 They're mostly chill dates, nothing too big like theme parks, or super fancy restaurants
📝 The fancy restaurants are saved for anniversaries
📝 He'd be very meticulous when it comes to planning it
📝 He thinks about absolutely everything possible
📝 If you went somewhere to eat, he would do the gentlemanly thing and pull out the chair and push it in
