Part of my Revan playlist
Game Rules: Choose one of your characters and list songs that fit them.
There's been a while since I got an idea to make a list of the songs I associate female with Revan. Unfortunately, I was pretty lazy to realise the idea, but luckily, I was tagged by @marythegizka and did it eventually. Thank you, @marythegizka , so much!:)
So I’ve chosen female Revan from different periods of time in her life for this game (and sometimes the songs are also connected with her relationship with Malak or male Exile - Peter Brookman in my headcanon). Probably, later I’ll add up more songs to the list. The order is spontaneous. Let’s go!
1. Fire by The Score (Mostly, it’s connected with amnesiac Revan and her entangled emotions she can’t comprehend. It also may be considered as the anthem of her life starting from the Mandalorian Wars at least)

2. Paint It Black by Ciara or Beatrice Piacentini (It mostly deals with vibes and some lines only in the period of Revan turning into a complete Dark Lady).

3. Tightrope by Michelle Williams (This song and especially these lines below are associated with Revan/Malak relationship during and after the Mandalorian War. No more words 😊 )

4. O, Children by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
(Frankly speaking, I was inspired by the scene of Hermione and Harry's friendly dance to this song from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I imagine the Exile and Revan dancing to it together and trying to collect their thoughts, while Malak is missing, everything is falling apart, the war is already underway, and the two of them begin to agitate knights and padawans to join the Republic in the war against the Mandalorians and also intend to find out what happened to Malak. The song contains hints on what lies ahead for them - … «…I was held in chains, but now I'm free…» and not only…)

5. No Time to Die by Billie Eilish (These lines are about that time when Revan finally finds out her true self and her real past and a little bit after that. Without a doubt, Revan is rather offended by Malak’s betrayal, that’s why ‘You were never on my side’. In my view, she doesn’t really think so).

6. Who You Are by Lunatica (The whole song is about amnesiac Revan and you’ll figure out why if you listen to it). Here are my favourite lines:

8. Rewrite the Stars by Zac Efron and Zendaya (Revan/Malak romantic relationship for some time before the war – forbidden and supposed to be sort of impossible… Unresolved romantic tension I’d say).

I'd like to share a link to a lovely podfic of my kotor fic Sooner or Later, for which I'm really grateful to @shadow-ravin. I'm surprised and excited and it's a great present for me for today 2 year tumblr-versary, which I didn't remember at all! What a funny coincidence! I really enjoy listening to it!:)
Hardly a fairy tale
Looking back, Malak sometimes wonders how real their feelings for each other were. Or they simply reveled in forbidden desires, condemned by the masters, conscious violation of the rules of the Order and passion caused by the excitement of the competitive spirit, which might have easily mixed up with something more menacing.
P.S. Here Malak is thinking about Revan and their relationship, of course.
Mission: Isn't it great to learn how to wield the Force?
Amnesiac Revan (ex-smuggler): Yeah, and get involved in Jedi affairs with the Sith and Malak personally... Without a doubt, I've dreamed about that all my life!

... And it is strikingly different from Dantooine, which Malak sees only occasionally and for educational reasons only! With Revan every once in a while. When she presses her shoulder against his and laughs unusually easily and freely on one of the countless hills, throwing her head back and not taking her eyes off the inky sky scattered thick with myriads of stars, the endless expanses around them, above them, and the intoxicating feeling of freedom take his breath away. At this moment, he is ready to love the whole world that has belonged to Revan since childhood. Malak does not have to pretend he admires this world.
Darth Malak's fingers tightly gripped Alexandra's chin, who was frozen in stasis against her will, lifting it up so that the eyes burning angrily with green flames met the narrowed yellow-blue eyes of the Sith lord.
"Puppet!" hissed a menacing metallic voice. The anger and hatred imbued with it would make anyone shiver. Malak wondered if Revan-Alex had actually flinched when she’d heard the poisonous word.

This beautiful masterpiece was done by the one and only @stellorc! I can't even express how wonderful the final art is - Ella as always left me speechless... The scene will be a relevant one in the a future chapter of an Alek redemption fic I'm working on (and that should be updated soon!).
Well, if first it was supposed that Carth, according to the game writers and cut content, could redeem fem Revan, and after that they died hand in hand at the Star Forge, then here's my ending: Revan (probably, 'grey' Revan) convinces Malak to reject the Dark Side and they escape together on one of the Star Forge's ships before the station is completely destroyed. Nobody is even aware of it, redeemed Revan is considered a hero who died for the Republic/ or otherwise - maybe only a few people know the whole amnesiac Revan's story, and redeemed Bastila is declared the hero who 'defeated' Darth Malak...
P.S. The name of a possible short fic based on the story could be Presumed Dead.

Hardly a Fairytale (fic)
Malak's thoughts on Revan, his relationship with her over time and some (friendly) confrontations between them. (1119 words)
Description: Their story is hardly a fairy tale. Otherwise, one would have to call it a complex fairy tale with an unhappy ending.
Notes:
Despite such a description the fic contains a couple of happy moments too.
Sorry for any mistakes. English isn't my native language. If you notice some mistakes, please, let me know if possible – it would help me to improve both the story and the language.
I wanted to mix fluff, drama and a bit of angst together in this revalek fic. I’d like to have a better version and a longer text one day, but even this version took much more time than I expected. Probably, one day I will write a sweet fluff for Revan and Malak as they deserve that.
Perhaps, I will add the second part dealing with Malak’s thoughts on amnesiac Revan one day… but I’m not certain of that.
I've just realized that I haven't published fics in English for quite a long time... So strange but it took much more time to write this short fic than I expected. I've recently added a couple of paragraphs to the text, which I was writing while listening to Dark Paradise and Summertime Sadness by Lana Del Ray, and now I like the final version of the fic a bit more than before. The great thing about Revan and Malak as a ship is that the two of them get to experience the person they love warping into someone unrecognizable, either through force-corruption or memory loss.
On the Leviathan:
Darth Malak to amnesiac Revan: Don't you dare look at me as if you don't remember anything about me!
I love depicting characters as normal before going through a corruption arc. It really adds to the pain. This is young Alek (Malak) and Reva (Female Revan). Their outfits are sort of “clubbing versions” of their later Sith Costumes.
