Camp Half-Blood just got a new camper: Marinette Dupain-Cheng, daughter of Morpheus (the god of sleep and dreams and stuff)Damian Wayne has been at camp for a long, long while. He lived with his 'mother' for a while, a woman who wasn't actually his mother but an ex-lover of his father who was able to steal his son before he realized the child existed. When Damian was sent to his father at age nine, Bruce had no clue who he was. He believed what he was told-- Talia was the boy's mother. However, his true mother was a goddess. The goddess of strategy, war tactics, wisdom. Athena. This was revealed to him and his father about two years after his arrival in Gotham, when he started to exhibit abilities beyond a normal child's, along with a strange attraction of paranormal creatures to the city soon after his arrival.The family was visited by a satyr (not Grover-- this, for my own sanity, is taking place way after the PJO stuff. Everything is relatively peaceful rn. Go with it.), who suggested that Damian would be best suited to go to the camp to train and learn more about his heritage. Bruce agreed wholeheartedly, and there he went. He rarely returns to Gotham, and though he would never admit it, he misses the place a bit. He’ll probably go back when he’s of age, to take over the family business his father will undoubtedly leave to him, but for now he was stuck in the middle of what was basically Nowhere, New York.It's been almost seven years since he arrived at camp when Marinette arrives, fully aware of her heritage and what is happening here. She was told when she was young about her true parentage, and was able to home some of her abilities on her own. Her dream and hypnotism capabilities were able to help her defeat Hawkmoth, and she was finally able to leave Paris and know it was safe. She had heard of the camp long before and wanted to visit, but this was her big chance. She would go for the summer, get some specialized training with her siblings, them go to fashion school in New York City in the fall.Damian and Marinette met by chance. It was her first Capture the Flag, and surprisingly, her team left her in charge of the flag. She was the final defense.Everything was going fine until Marinette heard a rustling in the bushes. Out came Damian, brandishing a sword and shield, letting out a battle cry.It was an intense sight, to say the least.Marinette may not have been as skilled with a sword, but she did have a few tricks up her sleeve. After a few minutes of fighting, Marinette had pinned Damian down on the grassy ground below them, both panting and looking at each other with a mixture of confusion and admiration.'Impressive, for a newbie,' Damian told her.'I’m just going to take that as a compliment,' she told him. 'And nice try.''Thanks, but I wasn't really trying to get the flag.'Oh, no.When Marinette turned around to check on the flag, she saw one of Damian's teammates, a girl named Allegra (daughter of Apollo) running away with the flag. Marinette groaned.'Guess you still have some stuff to learn, huh?' Damian told her before flipping her over so he was on top of her. 'Maybe next week.'When he got up and left, Marinette just sat on the ground for a few minutes, processing what had happened. She really had to up her game next week to impress that guy (she really thought he was cute, but also she hated him now because he tricked her in combat and that means war). Enemies to lovers ensues.

Nico's the manager, bored, so he's just sit there, enjoying his time while college students get their hopes and dreams obliterated, late night workers transform into zombies, employees set espresso on fire or stressed out tall-hot-blond over there just keep staring at him

Simultaneously everyone's favorite and least favorite older camper

Has been at camp for 7 years, but got there a little earlier than Daichi

Uses a bow and arrow

Can charmspeak, but he doesn't use it often and isn't the best at it

Hates quests so much

Oikawa is also in the Aphrodite cabin (sorry to any Sugawa shippers), and they almost kill each other every two seconds

Bonus:

Prefers long range fighting over close range

Helps out in the infirmary sometimes

Hates the Aphrodite kid stereotypes and will punch anyone in the face who compares him to them

Younger campers love him, older campers are afraid of him

Azumane Asahi: Image Text:

Son of Ares

18 years old

Has been at camp 7 years

Used to go on quests with Daichi and Suga

Uses a spear

Very similar to Frank Zhang in personality and views of his godly parent

Was head of his cabin, left camp, then became head again

Hates his whole cabin (not really he loves them)

Bonus:

Got into an arguement with Nishinoya over how the gods treated demigods during the war with Kronos. Noya said he partially sided with Kronos's army, and Asahi thought he was nuts for that. They both ended up leaving camp, Asahi going to mortal school. He didn't know where Noya was.

He was convinced by Hinata to come back for the Battle of Manhattan, and almost lost his mind when he realized Noya was back on CHB's side and not with Kronos

Would've been at camp for 7 years, but spent a year away from camp (no one knows where he was except Asahi)

Huge trouble maker, lives up to Herme's kid reputation

Pranks everyone, especially new campers

After an argument with Asahi, he went to join Kronos's army, but decided not to after all

Spent the rest of that year training before going back to camp and helping them win the Battle of Manhattan

Smooths things over with Asahi, but never tells anyone else that he was planning on joining Kronos

Also skips training to look cool, but trains in secret. Usually wearing training clothes under his casuals

Learns to use his powers very well later

I picked Demeter to be his godly parent because 1.) yall remember 2020 where everyone drew him in that fucking strawberry dress, and 2.) I saw a post somewhere about how Demeter's children often let personal relationships cloud their judgement (COUGH COUGH TSUKI)

When Jungkook is fifteen years old, he arrives at Camp Half Blood with pennies in his pockets, one Kim Taehyung on his back, and monsters on his tail. There are all kinds of creatures that have been following him for weeks—some with wings, some with clubs, but all with the intent of murder in their eyes as they chase Jungkook up the hill. Taehyung had warned him about this happening, that starting this journey would attract lots of unwanted attention from lots of dangerous half-breed monsters. Something to do with Jungkook’s scent, whatever the fuck that’s supposed to mean. 

In the beginning, Jungkook hadn’t known what to expect, hadn’t known what Taehyung meant by strange creatures and a camp just for him. Even right now, as he is running as quickly as his legs can take him with his lungs feeling like it’s about to burst—he doesn’t really understand. 

What he does understand is that he has been alone his entire life. With a childhood filled with no father and a frightful mother, Jungkook has grown up spending time by himself in the company of his own thoughts and emotions. With such a strange (and lacking) family dynamic, it exposed him to lots of bullying and snide comments from peers, most commonly seen during school or walks home. The first half of Jungkook’s childhood is defined by this—by the teasing for being different, for failing classes, for being awkward and shy, for never knowing his place. The second half of Jungkook’s childhood is filled with sleeping on the streets, with stealing food at convenience stores, on how he’s been truly alone since he was thirteen. 

That is, until Kim Taehyung corners him at the midnight strike of his fifteenth birthday—which leads the two of them to this current moment.

Jimmy is a child of poseidon and Lizzie is a child of Neptune because seablings. they have the same mortal mother like Jason and Thalia. they were separated at a young age similar to s1 empires canon but lizzie still remembers Jimmy while jimmy does not remember Lizzie because he was so young when they were split. There mom was good she loved them but they never new her because she got sick and died not long after jimmy was born. Lizzie felt responsible for her brother and when she got older she became aware of the monsters. Grian is a very mischievous child of Hermes. when his dad left his mom she broke down and became depressed these feelings led her to join a sketchy cult. grian was raised in this very restrictive environment but at a young age he knew he wanted get out and travel. as a child of Hermes he couldn’t stand to be stuck in one place for so long. like many Hermes kids he was a prankster and he got into a whole lot of trouble when ever he’d put his devious plans in place. He doesn’t hate his mom or dad but he tries not too think of them and tries to pretend they don’t exist. He ran away when he was super young and has never looked back 

Joel is a son of Demeter his father was a farmer until he happened across a whole lot of money and he moved them to the city. his father spoiled him with their new found wealth making it so joel grew to have a very expensive taste but Joel still missed the plants and nature so he started painting beautiful landscapes. like his father joel has a tendency to let power go to his head. Eventually the money ran out and they became homeless. Joel’s father kept spending money they didn’t have sending them into debt and joel grew to resent his dad. Like his mother joel has very extreme emotional reactions and when he or someone he likes is wronged he takes revenge. weather it’s pranks or competitions joel doesn’t do things in half’s 

like Thalia Luke and Annabeth they ran away young and found each other before making it to camp

PROLOGUE

Camp Half-Blood, famous training grounds of Greek demigods far and wide. Once home to the Son of Poseidon, you may have heard of him, he’s still a pretty big deal around here. It’s said to be the safest place for demigod children of the Ancient Greek Gods and Goddesses, and it’s a pretty interesting place to be. I mean, it’s not like I have any other choice, I’ve been here since my dad died, and that was 6 years ago.

Like many others before me, however, I’ve made it my home. A weird kind of home where Chiron is constantly yelling at the ‘rebellious youths’ and Mr. D couldn’t really give a care, oh, and we sword fight for fun, but a home nonetheless. Being the only one in Cabin 20 over the year can be kind of lonely; my siblings all go home at the end of summer, but the lonely lifestyle is one I, as a daughter of Hecate, have come quite accustomed to. I guess I have Aster, my familiar to talk to, but I don’t think a sarcastic black cat is the best company for a 22 year old. And you may be thinking, “Why don’t you leave camp and start your own life?,” and to that I say...this is all I’ve ever really known.

Before my dad passed, I’d come to camp every summer. I met my siblings my second one. Hecate kids are hard to come by apparently, but I’m glad they showed up. See, a lot of the cabins have a sort of prejudice against other cabins. The Hades cabin, for example, though uninhabited, is constantly scorned under bated breath. My cabin falls under the same sort of scrutiny. It all comes down to fear in the end. My siblings and I posses magical abilities like our mother and that power is what intimidates and scares other campers. So, instead of trying to get to know us, they shut us out. Can’t say I’m not surprised, though. In high school, the ‘weirdos’ were always outcast, why should a camp full of demigods be any different?

The stares and whispers, unnerving at first, are now just a tolerable nuisance. I live my life here the best way I can, and if that means having my cat as my only friend, then so be it. Besides, I’ve got my plate full with training anyways. Between combat, lessons, and individual magic studies, I don’t have the time for friends as it seems. After all, I’ve got to make Mom and Dad proud.

Well, I’d write more, but there really isn’t all that much left to say. Besides, Chiron asked me to help him hang the ‘Welcome’ banners for the start of the summer, and if I keep him waiting any longer, he might demote me from favorite. I know this isn’t going to be seen by anyone and now that I’ve cleared that up I feel kind of dumb writing this all in the first place. Oh well.

P.S. I don’t know if it’s ‘witch’s’ intuition or just me being a little paranoid, but I feel like something big is going to happen this summer. I’m not quite sure what, I’m still working on my premonition skills, but it feels almost life changing, if that makes any sense. I think, well, I hope, it’s something wonderful, but who really knows. Guess I’ll have to wait and see...

This is a new fanfic idea I’ve been mulling over in my head for a while now. I don’t know how many chapters it will be yet, or what the posting schedule will look like, because as of right now I’m just kind of winging it and taking my time. Guys! I had this weird idea for the longest time and I’m so glad I am able to finally share it. It’s an AU of sorts...

Imagine if demigods had the color mainly associated with their godly parent as their hair color, and they are born that way.

For example a child of Poseidon has aqua hair, Ares has blood red hair, and Aphrodite has pink hair.

lol just imagine yuu as a demigod from the percy jackson series, that is all

Honestly, Demigod Yuu would be so funny. Especially if they’re a Child of Hecate that was still trying to learn magic.

Watch as Grim just shows up just to run away with Yuu trailing close behind, a weapon in their hand.

Yuu is definitely going to feel pretty uncomfortable in class, especially if everyone around them seems so focused. Though, I’d assume the teachers are aware of Yuu’s dyslexia and ADHD, so they help accommodate them.

Oh! And Deuce, Ace, and Yuu all bond over being reckless idiots just trying to survive school. (Yuu jokingly calls them, “The classic three” among the 1st years)

Starts sweating when Hades is mentioned, “wait…what? Oh god oh fuck oh no no no- I SWEAR HADES I WAS JOKING I DIDN’T MEAN TO OFFEND YOU-“

They might be a little sad if their parent doesn’t claim them when they get back, after all, they’ve literally been through a shit ton of therapy.

Yuu casually fights anyone bullying their friends for anything - they know hand to hand combat you will NOT win (unless you’re unnaturally strong and/or get the jump on them)

Ideas-Part 2

I’m pleasantly surprised I got a few likes and reblogs on the last post, through half of those likes came from bots. Anyway, here’s a few more ideas. I’ve only read up to the first of the Heroes of Olympus books, haven’t touched the Apollo, Kane or Magnus stuff yet.

The Chaos Insurgency is infamous among the Camps, having engaged in the kidnapping, trafficking, and murder of demigods on more than one occasion. Their liberal use anomalies with little regard for collateral damage makes them dangerous to face, and the cell structure of their organization makes its difficult to pin them down. In the past the CI has allied themselves with monsters and coordinated to launch strikes against the camps, particularly one against Jupiter that resulted in over a dozen deaths.

New Rome enjoys close ties to the Global Occult Coalition. They fought side by side with the GOC’s predecessor, the Allied Occult Initiative, during the Second World War/Seventh Occult War. They’re a member of the GOC’s Council of 108, the leadership body made up of representatives from occult organization across the world. The GOC get a lot of their “Special Assets”, people who have paranormal abilities but retain their humanity, from New Rome.

Dr.Wondertainment’s products are a hit at the camps. 

As Percy got older he took an interest in traveling the world. Poseidon took the time to educate him on dangerous aquatic anomalies, particularly Anantashesha. 

Apollo likes to joke about his “second sister”, known to the Foundation as SCP-179. They have no idea if the two are related or not.

A small minority of campers belong to the various anomalous religions but its rarely who you expect. Most COTBG demigods aren’t related to Hephaestus, and just because you’re belong to the Church of the Second Hytoth, who’s principal deity lives in the sun, doesn’t mean you’re related to Apollo. 

When one of the new Athena kids kept pricking his finger every day, people were a little weirded out. His attempts to hide it only made his half brothers and sisters even more worried, self-harm is taken very seriously at CHB. He eventually explained that his mortal parents were Ortothans and that their religious practices included bloodletting to keep their god alive. He was afraid of what might happen if didn’t  Not many people were aware of the Ortothans or the Church of the Second Hytoth, much less their practices. 

After talking with the Cabin Counselor and the local Ortothan priest the boy had an open discussion with the rest of the cabin regarding his beliefs. While they don’t fully understand them they did try to accommodate him. So long as he wasn’t going overboard with the bloodletting then everyone was okay with it.

Camp Half Blood and Jupiter have their own field codes, similar in practice to ones used by Foundation Task Forces and the Serpent’s Hand. Useful for giving someone a heads up if you can’t communicate verbally. Examples include an arrow with a line drawn through, signaling that Celestial bronze is useless against this threat. The Greek letter Omega with an X above it means the codes are compromised and cannot be trusted further.

Sarkicism and the Greeks have a long history and most of its bloody. The Sarkic Empire tried to invade Ancient Greece, forcing the Greeks to enter an alliance with Mekhanities, Egyptians, Hittites, and other nearby kingdoms. Sarkic practices of Theophagy, the ritualistic consumption of a god, and Apotheosis, ascension to Godhood, made them quick enemies Olympus. The Sarkic leader, Grand Karcist Ion, having consumed the Daevite gods, bought back bad memories of Kronos. What really worried them was the source of his power, Yaldabaoth and its Archons, primordial entities equivalent to that of their Greek counterparts, Gaia and the other divinities.

The Foundation, GOC, and Olympus agreed to share information regarding Sarkicism. However, records from the Greeks are taken with a grain of salt as they will contradict other historical findings and depict the Sarkics as nothing more than mindless beasts bent on slaughtering all in their path, without an ounce of humanity. 

Several of the gods have received offers of Sainthood from the Horizon Initiative. The latter promised that the Initiative will not attack them and will come to their aid should the need arise. The catch? The gods must promise to do no harm to mankind and not to directly interfere with it. 

And no more demigods.
