the kind of bouquet that was bought at the grocery store because they don’t know all too much about flowers other than that receiving them brings your beautiful smile to your face. being able to tell they tried taking off the price sticker even though it couldn’t possibly have cost any sort of concerning amount, but they don’t want you worrying about things like that regardless. instead, you can tell by even that small and simple of a gesture that they’re always trying their best for you because they love you so much.

the kind of bouquet where each flower was painstakingly picked out and then wrapped in charming brown paper. they take the bouquet from your arms briefly as you go to read the little note that came with it. it’s about how they looked up the meaning to each flower and picked the ones that reminded them of you and and all the things they love about you. they might not be good with words all the time, but they hope a gesture like this can make up for it.

the kind of bouquet that’s just massive and overflowing out of the measly sheet of newspaper it’s meant to be wrapped in. the scent is pleasantly overwhelming as you attempt to look over the flowers, where you see how they’re grinning ear to ear like a child on christmas day. you can barely even count how many flowers you’re holding in your arms, and they even have to place a hand in front of the bouquet to help prevent it from slipping out between you both as you two share a heartfelt kiss.

the blissful feeling of laying on their chest, snuggled up to their side and hearing up-close the quiet whistling of them inhaling in and out. as they scroll on their phone you can hear the videos play, and get cut off, and start again—but you choose to focus on the sound of their steady heartbeat from right up against your ear.

he doesn't know why you want to but he lets you anyway

i'd say, in high school at least, he doesn't really put his hair up (obvi since he doesn't do it during matches) because he doesn't know how he feels about how it makes him look in public

but when he's at home he'll def put it up if it's getting in his way of his video games

he actually has hairties strewn about his room, but for some reason they're like all different brands lol

"sometimes i run out and just grab the first one i see getting off the train."

you grab one that's hanging off the corner of his pc

"pfft didn't know you liked kuromi like that"

"oh that... that actually came from a set with a my mel tie..."

so OF COURSE you track down the my melody pair and start to comb through his blonde hair

he plays a game but asks you what his next moves should be in-game now and then to stay engaged with you, as you sit behind him and pigtail his hair

tbh i think his hair would feel dead af from the bleach as you style it but its ok you still love him!!!

"okay, done!" you open up your phone camera and hold it out in front of kenma. he quickly pauses his game and lightly grasps your hand holding the phone as he checks himself out.

"hm... i look ridiculous," he chuckles, "i look like a 5-year-old girl."

"yeah i don't think kuromi and my mel are helping with that, either," you joke. kenma shakes his head around for the two pigtails to swing about his head, the little character charms on the hairties clinking about and making you burst out in laughter. you try to line up your phone to take a picture of him, but he catches you in the act.

he gently swats your arm away and swaps the phone in your hand with his hand in the process, "babe, noo."

"just one? please?" you pry.

he shakes his head and takes your hand up to his lips, kissing it but mumbling out against it a firm...

"no."

"ken."

his eyes are still glued to the screen...

"no."

"with a cherry on top?"

he turns and leaves a quick kiss on your lips, looking into your eyes before whispering...

"no."

despite all his protests, though, rest assured you walked away that night with a new photo in your favorites album: kenma covering his face with his controller with the purple and pink sanrio bunnies holding up two blonde pigtails on the top of his head.

but that was inevitable, he could never resist his baby for too long.

anything to spend time with his favorite person

theres too much fucking gel in his hair so you send him to the bathroom to water it down a bit

he comes out with his hair all wet and dripping and over his eyes screaming

"um, kō... did you even dry your- your hair...? baby it's getting all over the floor"

"oh! oh yeah, sorry about that babe, i'll do that right now for you"

but you see a glint in his pretty golden eyes

the fucking brat

he shakes his head like a dog, hitting you with water and you squeal at him to "go use a towel, idiot!"

nonetheless, once you put him in pigtails, he takes a look at the grey and black sprigs coming out from his head in the reflection of his phone screen and can't help but let out a hearty laugh

"this is great y/n, do another one on me, wouldy'a?"

"wait, really?"

"yes! plus, you like this stuff, right? if you're having fun then make me beautiful, beautiful."

he lets you take a few pictures before you hand him your phone to look for other hairstyles, & he takes the phone with a quick kiss to your lips

he scrolls on your phone trying to find a new hairstyle to have you do as you start undoing the ponytails on his head. his hair dried a bit while the pigtails were in, so you run your hand through his hair and ruffle it up a little bit to get rid of the indent the hairties made.

"oh! what about this one," bokuto beams, holding up a pinterest pin of a manbun, "do you think i got enough hair for you to do it?"

you take your phone back to get a better look at it as bokuto tries to gather up as much of his hair in his two hands and hold it up in an... attempt at a manbun.

you look at him and feel laughter bubble up in your chest, but you manage to make out a, "well we can certainly try, kō."

"really? can we?" he smiles at you. you nod and bokuto dives in to kiss you through your giggling. after a moment, you feel the still-damp ends of his hair fall to brush against your forehead, as his hands go from holding his makeshift manbun up to gently holding the face of his one and only love.

yeah no this loser definitely has a thing when it comes to people touching his hair

like a DEFENSIVE thing bc no one can convince me it's NOT the longest part of his morning routine

so it takes some convincing but he finally caves bc it's you the love of his life

"fine! but just this once!"

once again, gotta water down the gel

but this time he's like,,, weirdly embarrassed?? and shy?? and cute?? about the fact you're seeing him with his hair wet and undone like this

"baby you cannot tell anyone you saw me like this"

"aww but tetsu you look just as handsome like that"

"ok so we're lying now, i see how it is"

so you sit crossed-legged in front of each other on the floor, and you have him hold the comb and hairties

he sits there all pouty as he has to bend down a bit for you to reach his hair bc he's so tall end me

NO PICTURES!!! the bastard even tries to hide your phone

"tetsu! give it back!" you complain. you've crawled into his lap and yet his arm still holds your phone too high up and out of your reach. "i swear i won't post it anywhere–just one picture, please?"

"absolutely not!" he says through a chuckle. he cranes his neck up and uses your phone to look at his own reflection. he groans at the sight of his spikey locks sticking out from the two pigtails on his head.

"babe," he whines, "this is really messing with my self image."

"yeah right, as if the rest of you isn't literally perfect."

"not true! as long as my hair is concerned right now. but y'know what?" he finally brings your phone back down to his side but holds the side of your face with his free hand.

"what," you deadpan, before trying to quickly grab your phone back. but to your dismay, he holds it out behind his back and out of your reach once again as he continues.

"i'd feel a bit better if i could get a kiss. just a little one," he mumbles with that shit-eating grin you can't help but love, "who knows, maybe i'll feel so much better that i can give your phone back."

"and let me take a picture?" you ask hopefully.

he looks into your eyes and starts to caresses your cheekbone with his thumb, "well... that might depend on how good this kiss goes, yeah?"

least to say you got your photo, and then some other perks while you were at it.

"omi, i don't think i've ever seen you with your hair up–"

"i put it up when i have to clean."

"oh right!"

you just never noticed because he wears a little bandana on top of it too cutie pie

but when you ask to put his curls in two little pigtails it takes a little bit of convincing

no one's ever really touched his hair before

he's the biggest sucker for you though so eventually he lets you have your way with him

and surprisingly, he feels so loved having his hair played with by your beautiful self and you just look so cute as you do it and you talk to him about the most generic things that this guy starts to get antsy

like i'm talking hands all over your legs and waist as you're sitting in front of him and as he's starting at you with literal heart eyes

he just needs to hold you you're so adorable to him rn

you can really see his two beauty marks with his hair pulled up and you give them a little kiss when you're finished

"look at him komori," you coo, facing sakusa's phone camera toward him with his cousin on the other end of the line. you had called komori to show off your work, but sakusa couldn't care less as he clings to you now that you're finally finished doing his hair.

"wow cous', this is definitely a new look for you," the brunette giggles through the phone. sakusa tries to hide his face in your neck and groans,

"don't you have anything better to do, motoya? bye."

and with that, sakusa takes hold of your hand and hangs up the call on his phone.

"i quite like it, omi! your cousin agrees with me too," you tease. sakusa can't help but chuckle lightly as his arms wrap around your torso tighter. you can feel the smile creep onto his lips against the skin of your collarbone.

"yeah, whatever. we can do this more often, i guess," he sighs, "the you-playing-with-my-hair thing, not the my-cousin-being-involved thing, mind you."

omg shut up i will always have a soft spot for this man

ofc since his hair is very much on the long side, he already puts his hair up in a simple ponytail or the occasional manbun from time to time

so yes he agrees to the idea when you bring it up, even if it’s a different style than he’s accustomed to

he didn't think it was gonna be that much of a big deal, after all, he's tied his own hair thousands of times

what he didn’t realize, however, is how different the experience is when you’re the one combing your hands through his hair MMMM

he's absolute putty in your hands shut upppp

deliberately pulls out some strands so you have to sit there and play with his hair longer

"love i think you missed a spot."

"i literally saw you pull that piece out."

he’s between your legs on the floor as you sit on the couch, the volleyball highlights he was watching on his phone still running but now long-forgotten. he uncontrollably tilts his head back with every move you make as you run your hands along his hair, parting it and smoothing it down where necessary.

“‘sahi stop moving,” you giggle. all he can do is hum in bliss as you try to get his hair together amidst him leaning into your touch every other second.

"love, is the first one done yet?" he asks innocently, eyes closed, as if his scheming hasn't costed you an extra 20 minutes or so trying to fix his hair up.

"just keep watching your highlights and keep your head still!" you plea with a hairtie between your teeth, finally managing to gather one half of his hair into a ponytail. and just as you were ready to stretch the hairtie out and make the first loop around the bunch of wavy brown hair that you had in your hand, asahi just so happens to readjust how he's sitting beneath you, making some locks fall out from your grasp.

"asahi!" you let go off the hair and draw out a frustrated sigh. you can hear him chuckle as he leans his head against your thigh, turning his head to look up at you.

his hand is already guiding your dejected one back towards his hair, "oops, sorry angel. i guess you'll have to start all over again."

how could he ever say no to you

i think esp senior captain!tadashi started on the habit of tying his hair back for games hot, so he actually does have a few hair ties on hand

but if you use hairties you KNOW he keeps some of yours on his own wrist in case you ever need one (🤭), even if not using them on your own hair like right now

he’s very well behaved as he sits on the toilet seat while you stand in front of him between his legs and get to work

the little piece of hair that sticks out from the top of his head is a pain in the ass tho

every time you think you've successfully smoothed it down, it springs back up again

meanwhile to pass the time, his hands rest on your hips as he asks you about your day, about what shows you’ve been watching recently—anything under the sun

"what happened then? tell me more sweetheart."

in the lulls of your conversation you can feel his thumbs lovingly glide back and forth along your hips im dying i love him

you stand behind yamaguchi in the cramped bathroom, him hunched over the sink as he observes himself and the new look you’ve given him.

you watch him through the mirror as he holds back a smile. his hand reaches about to touch the points at which the tips of his olive hear sprig out from the pigtails of your doing, his stomach peeking out from his worn out white tshirt as it lifts a little at the careful movements he makes.

he finally breaks the silence “yeah… i wouldn’t go out like this anytime soon.”

the two of you can’t help but burst out in laughter, at how ridiculous he looks and the ridiculous way you two have just passed the evening. the sound echoes along the tiled walls of the bathroom.

as your laughter dies down, yamaguchi turns and wraps those same arms that were poking at the pigtails in his hair, around your waist.

he pulls you close, “but they look good, love. maybe just not for me."

you look up at him and he swears he can see a universe of stars in your eyes, "you really think so tada? they were kind of rushed..."

"of course!" he leans his forehead to yours and touches his nose to yours, "maybe we can open a hair salon for you to hone your skills."

his comment makes you giggle, and he can't help but lean in closer to give your smiling lips a quick peck.

you knew the only way you could achieve getting pigtails on this guy was by ambushing him

"zzz.."

so as he's dozed off on the bed, you slowly maneuver your way behind him

mf's a heavy sleeper so you eventually realize you actually don't have to be super gentle as you pull his hair into two little ponytails

his hair's already parted down the middle so it's pretty easy

goddamn is his hair silky smooth

you gotta ask for what products he uses bc holy shit why's he been gatekeeping them from you

i feel like his hair is long enough that actually they kind of sag down once you put them up in little curves coming out the top of his head like a bunny!!

but just as you're looping the hairtie one more time around the second pigtail, you accidentally pull on it a bit too hard and it quickly snaps against the top of his head ouch lmao

suna groans as he starts to shift and stir awake at the feeling of his head getting bonked. you have to restrain yourself from laughing as he absent-mindedly reaches back to see who it is that woke him up from his nap, hand slowly patting down your side. even through his sleepy haze, he can tell it's you and he lightly hums in contentment before turning around and engulfing you in his arms.

"sorry, rin, i didn't mean to wake you," you whisper.

for a brief moment as he's cuddling into you, he opens an eye to see your face. though you were trying hard to contain them, your laughter starts to escape between your upturned lips and suna's brows furrow in confusion. what's so funny?

he leans back again to find his phone on the bedside table and you watch as he catches a glimpse of his new hairdo before he can check the time.

all you hear is him mumbling something along the lines of, "you're something else," before he's plopping his phone down onto the sheets and he's tucking his head under your chin.

the two pigtails tickle your face like feathers as your ears begin to pick up on the sound of light snores as suna peacefully dozes off once again.

i also think he has really silky hair duh but he's definitely shared what products he uses with you

in fact he asks that you use some of the products from his bathroom when you tie his hair

"gotta do these locks justice, baby."

the whole time he's got a little smile on his face, mf is having the time of his life–getting his hair done and being close with the most precious person in the world to him? uhhh YES

he highkey whines about you pulling at his hair tho

very gentle as he combs through your hair, too!! shit's calming asf, him humming a little tune as you tell him about your day and he lovingly runs his hands through your hair

when he's done doing your hair you take selfies together on his phone

definitely makes one of them his new phone background

pigtails out of yours and oikawa's hair, you're cleaning up the products and hairties scattered across the bedsheets when you accidently brush over the screen of oikawa's phone. the screen lights up with one of the photos you just took with him: you both winking at the camera with pigtails sticking out from the tops of your heads. there's some digital stickers he selected scattered about the photo, as well (a lot of hearts and flowers). he's in another room getting the two of you a snack.

"tōru! can you come over here real quick?"

you hear the pitter-patter of his footsteps as he rushes back to you with chips and drink cans in his hands, "what's up, precious?"

his phone in your hand, you hold it up to him for the screensaver to appear again, "are you serious? did you have to pick this one?"

at that instant he doubles over in laughter, so much so he embraces his arms around your head and falls onto the mattress again, making you both lay down next to each other. he moves his hands to hold your face, "what, why such the long face? you don't like it?"

"no... it's just that everyone who picks up your phone is gonna see it now," you explain, starting to laugh yourself because this boy's laugh is irresistibly contagious.

he leans in to give butterfly kisses to your nose, "yeah, that's kind of the point my love. want everyone to know how happy i am when i'm with you. don't we look so happy in that picture?"

you roll your eyes and reach up to play with his hair again as you two lay there in love, "i guess. but i can't believe you look better in pigtails than i do!"

"i look good a lot of the time," he jokes. his eyes drift down to your lips and after a beat, he presses his lips to yours briefly.

"but not even i can be more beautiful as you are all of the time."

you give the softest of pushes against the handle of asahi's home studio door. careful not to make a sound, you peer your head in to see all the lights are off, except for the light from his desk's lamp.

you quietly step in a bit more, the sound of pencil scratching and pastels smearing vibrant colors onto asahi's creative visions reaching your ears. every now and then, he has to push his glasses back up the bridge of his nose since his head is hung so low in concentration.

as not to scare him, you call out softly, "'sahiii."

like instinct, his head whips around to the sound of your voice, and when he calls back you can hear the grogginess sleep has laced into his voice, "oh hello honey."

"it's getting late," you say as you saunter over behind him, resting your head on the top of his and draping your arms around his broad shoulders.

"i know," he coos. the sound of etching drifts into the still night air again as he can't resist adding a few more lines to the curve of a dress on his paper, "but i want to get these done so we can start fittings as soon as possible. fabrics in some of these colors might take longer than expected to arrive before the ceremony. trust me, i know."

you look out into the sea of drawings scattered across his desk, and your heart swells at the thought of those you love wearing such amazing works of art on your special day. the thought makes you tighten your arms around him to pull him closer, and you feel his free hand reaching up to squeeze one of your arms affectionately, as his other hand reaches for a colored pencil to shade in part of his sketch.

"why does everything you make have to be so perfect," you jokingly sulk, reaching out to run your fingertips along some silky fabric samples occupying a corner of asahi's desk.

you can feel the tiny rumble of his soft laughter beneath you, "not true."

you peel yourself off of him and crouch down next to where he sits in his chair. you take your hand and take the colored pencil out of his hand, before gently holding his face in your two palms, fingers brushing his brown hair out from his face.

"very true, actually," you correct him in a whisper. and even though his facial features are very visually tired, the smile that grows on his face as he's looking at you still manages to meet his lidded eyes. you feel his larger hands place themselves over yours, and feel the cold metal of his engangement ring tickle at your left hand.

the feeling makes you giddy and a small fit of sleepy and loopy laughter starts bubbling out of you, but asahi lovingly cuts it off, leaning in to leave an affectionate kiss on your lips.

he tastes like dark roasted coffee and beeswax chapstick. his fancy cologne lingers even when you finally pull apart, the one you suprised him with when one of his pieces made it into one of the big showcases for the first time. it mixes with one of the many scents he's gifted you in return since then. (he loves to spoil you, it really being one of the only reasons he mingles with other designers at events, so he can later get linked up with the best stuff to give to you.)

you both smile against each other. just you, your soon-to-be husband, and the many manifestations of his love for you scattered around his studio.

You go to Niiyama Girls’ High a team that is very well known on the female side of volleyball.

You used to be a player in your first two years of high school but you got a knee injury and couldn’t properly recover so the team had you become their manager so you wouldn’t leave. The Karasuno third years already knew you and the second years had heard of you but the first years have no clue on who you even are.

When you meet them it’s actually right before the Spring Tournament and you wanted to wish your dear brother some good luck. You made quite the first impression to them when you tackled Daichi from behind and sent you both flying to the ground with a large thud. The other two third years greeted you, let it be known that Suga has a crush on you and you know it; you think it’s adorable. You happily greet the team and explain who you are

“Yeah your killjoy of a captain is my twin brother! I’m the manager for Niiyama!”

Tanaka and Nishinoya can fucking feel your chaotic vibe just by the introduction you gave because you were sitting on the small of your brother’s back and not getting up. Suga and Daichi prayed to Asahi for the three of you to never cause chaos but he could tell that was already down the drain. Daichi kind of flung you off of him and toward Suga, don’t ask me how but that man has magic. While everyone watched in horror that Tanka and Nishinoya had a new chaos partner and Daichi cuts you off when the topic of glitter bomb making is brought up (You’re an expert chaos master). Ennoshita can feel a headache coming and is yelling a loud “NO” when glitter bombs are brought up, the other two quiet second years are quietly cackling while recording this mess “Killjoy-in-training and the gossip queens, got it.”

Yamaguchi is kind of scared of you but you have respect for not being scared of Daichi’s wrath. You think he’s adorable and when you meet up with the team in the future you always make sure to look out for the boy. Tsukishima sees you as another simpleton and calls you as such but you wave it off and comment that he’s saltier than McDonald’s fries. You two have a salt round and Kinoshita and Narita are just vibing while Daichi is wonder where he went wrong in life. The team is surprised by how chaotic you are compared to your brother

Hinata thinks you’re awesome and asks what you know about volleyball. You explain you were a former setter who had to quit due to a knee injury (Oikawa who?) Kageyama is wary of you because you kind of remind him of Oikawa but you’re just chaotic?You have two setters who have crushes on you. Yachi is low key terrified of you and your chaos that she hides behind Kiyoko. It breaks your heart that she’s terrified but you know your a bit chaotic

You wish them all luck and to their surprise and Daichi’s displeasure you gave Suga a kiss on the cheek; “If you guys make it to nationals I’ll buy you guys food and Suga, I’ll take you out on a date”. Poor boy nearly faints. Daichi hates how much of a mess you can cause but he loves you to pieces, your his twin sister and the oldest two out of the rest of your family. The team still can’t wrap their head around you being their captain’s twin sister but they can all agree that Suga and you need to properly confess. They cried when you and the third years graduated

#2 Koshi Sugawara || xFutakuchi

You go to Date Tech and was Mai’s best friend. Unlike Daichi no one actually knows your related

You don’t even hide it either but you just don’t interact much when it comes to school but ya’ll will chat at home. You two are called the chaos twins by your parents rather often which is strange because no one expects Suga to be too chaotic He’s a mom

Your team has their suspicions about you and Karasuno’s silver haired setter being related but they never acted on it. You were their manager that would beat their ass when needed and blackmail Futakuchi without hesitation, in fact the teams didn’t find out officially until the Interhigh Prelims when Aone pointed out Asahi for the team. Suga easily spotted you and made a motion to get your player to back off, however, your petty because your brother told your parents about the Date Tech prank you pulled on him, so you didn’t move to interfere. Moniwa did move to defuse your Ace Blocker

“Sugawara-chan! Why didn’t you stop him?”

“Koshi was a bitch and I’m fucking petty.”

“Hey!” *cue laughter*

Karasuno was pretty shocked that you were Suga’s twin but at the same time they could see it. You two didn’t look a lot alike; you took after your father while he took more after your mother. Tsukishima thought you were a bit of an ass and you were T H R I V I N G. You were an ass and you knew it That’s why Futakuchi liked you so much

While you tell your boys to go off you greet your brother’s team. Tsukishima called you an ass—straight up too like no hesitation. You thanked him? You gained his respect. Daichi was wary of you because you were his best friend’s twin and you didn’t act like each other overly much. Asahi thought you were a terrifying creature that could sick dogs on him which you would never do but it gave you something to think about for Futakuchi. Kiyoko liked you because why not? You were an interesting person who dealt with their team accordingly

The second years were varying degrees of respect but Nishinoya was a bit hostile toward you. You damn well knew he was dating the Jesus lookin Ace and gave a knowing look toward your brother.Kageyama saw you as a challenger and asked if you’ve ever played volleyball, you knew the basics but you tended to do archery on the side thank you. Hinata and Yamaguchi were kind of terrified of you but respected you a lot. The true friend you made in a matter of minutes was Tsukishima who you have in your phone as: SALTY FRY 🍟

“Good luck, truly. Get past the first round, I can’t wait to see the outcome of our match, but no hard feelings right Koshi?”

“Of course”

You were upset when your team lost, it was your last year as their manager and they never made it to nationals. You were however happy that your brother did well even if you were a petty shit who glitter bombed his room with the help of Futakuchi. The next year when your team made it to nationals you actually cried and Suga was there to help you celebrate. However once you two start dating people all bets are off and the world is going to hell

You were there for him when he got shut down by your team but you would never apologize for your team’s victory. You had social anxiety and were a nervous mess half the time which just made Date Tech protective of you. You were their little anxiety filled manager that happened to have a brother who was the ace of a rival team, no big. Everyone on Karasuno knew who you were since you had to drop off your brother’s lunch during your free period with Moniwa coming with you

It was just before the Prelims and when the third and second years saw the Date Tech captain and one of their managers? PANICKING FIRST YEARS. Of course they calmed down when they realized it was just you and an emotional support person. They all thought you were precious and for once in your life you saw Moniwa be protective of you went Hinata and Tanaka came rushing forward. Nishinoya didn’t join because you were his boyfriend’s twin and he knew you had just as much if not more anxiety than your brother. Suga thought you were adorable and found it funny how Moniwa of all people was suddenly protective of you

Yamaguchi was your new best friend (Yachi later on) and you two were just anxiety buddies. You were pretty overwhelmed when Tanaka and Hinata ran up to you with the ginger asking who you were. The yelp you gave out was high and loud while you jumped to hide behind Moniwa. Asahi had to explain that you were his twin sibling . You’re like your brother and are so chaotic that you aren’t a manager your the hype man. Hana loves you and all but you and Terushima drive her nuts, the fact that your dating? SAVE HER. Runa is kind of scared of you but she learns to relax around you pretty quickly. The team loves you but they never realize your brother in Nishinoya Yuu. You have the same last name?

“Babe how are you like super smart but super dumb at the same time?”

Tanaka is the first one to meet you because he’s Nishinoya’s best friend. The three of you are a chaos trio and your poor mother is regretting life choices. When Terushima joins you guys it’s more chaotic even if they are a bit wary

“Bro, how does the piercing even feel?”

“TERU!”

The two boys complain about you and Terushima all the time and how their constantly just wheeling your dates. Nishinoya was more wary because your twins and Terushima was known as a bit of a playboy, this is especially clear when your brother’s team met yours a bit before their match. Supposedly Terushima was flirting with Kiyoko and he did so later on. You smacked him upside the head and told him to apologize (he did) and then talked to your brother’s team. Tanaka rushed up and hugged you before yelling at Terushima:

You’re short and these people are trees next to you; your team is just laughing. You greet Asahi as you were well aware of your brother’s boyfriend. The two of you tried not to keep secrets. The team see you as the more collected one of you and Nishinoya, they aren’t wrong of course. Chaos is your middle name but you know when you have to bring your friends back in. Hinata thinks your cool and Kageyama is indifferent alongside Tsukishima. Kiyoko likes you and is surprised that you let your boyfriend flirt randomly until you bring up the fact that you’d flirt with her too. Daichi and Suga find you and your brother to be a lot alike while Ennoshita is just crying, this poor boy. Yachi just kind of stares at you in shock and wonder because you’re so confident

#5 Ryunosuke Tanaka || xEnnoshita

Your whole family went to Karasuno except for you; you went to Shiratorizawa . You weren’t all that chaotic like your brother was but you were much more focused

You had originally been going their on a sports scholarship for swim, butterfly specifically, it’s pretty normal for butterfly swimmers to get their shoulders messed up to the point of needing a surgery to continue. That’s what happened to you. It was a really a slap in the face to the point of “is this what I want to do for the rest of my life?” You had to talk with your family about it, in the end you all agreed it wasn’t worth it

Shiratorizawa let you stay though you were no longer there on a sports scholarship but you had to help out the sports teams, you agreed and ended up applying to be the manager for the volleyball team at the beginning of your second year. The team was a bit surprised to have one of top butterfly swimmers in the country as their manager but you didn’t care. You and Tendo were chaos buddies but never mentioned anything about it

You were pretty responsible and actually met Ennoshita first on accident. You had a project due for history but since the school library was shit —and Shirabu is a bitch for not letting you borrow his book— you went to the local library. You two got along rather well and he even helped you with your project and you bought the two of you dinner before he walked you back to Shiratorizawa. Was it a date? No. Yes

You met the rest of the second years when they were stoping by the house and you needed to pick up something you left there, Tanaka dragged you into his room and show you off to his friends. They all found you to be rather attractive and were surprised when they found out you were twins

“YOU’RE TANAKA’S TWIN?”

“YOU’RE MY BROTHER’S TEAMMATE?”

“How do you two know each other?”

They would later drag you to team bonding and everyone is pretty surprised you’re Tanaka’s twin. They’re more surprised when your still in your manager uniform which was just a Shiratorizawa tracksuit with the volleyball jacket rather than your old swimming jacket. Everyone is trying to set you an Ennoshita up (they didn’t know you had basically been dating since day one). When you re-meet before the war between your schools you wish them luck; You even kissed Ennoshita on the cheek. Tendo and Goshiki shrieked

You were upset when your boys lost but you were so proud of your brother and boyfriend that no one could tell if the tears were happiness or sadness. Your team comforted you before telling you to go celebrate with your brother. You did and you told them you were proud of them though your pride was now wounded

“Next year, you boys won’t stand a chance against my team”

#6 Chikara Ennoshita || xWatari

You go to Seijoh and that in itself is chaos

You and Ennoshita are a lot alike but you do have different interests and a large difference when it came to admirers; Ennoshita wasn’t all that popular with the guys or the gals but you? You were often dubbed the Royal of Seijoh and had been called that since your first year. A lot of people tried to get you to go out with them but you would often ignore them or politely decline which truly fueled a fire under your admirers. They thought you were playing hard to get. Since you were really popular a lot of people could figure out you were related however it never reached Karasuno, you also didn’t get bullied by Oikawa’s fangirl’s because of you school social standings

The first time you met your brother’s team was during the practice match that Oikawa set up. While Ennoshita knew you were the manager he knew you were also rather timely, not long after arrival he noticed you weren’t there and decided to act. He told Daichi he had to ask Seijoh’s coach a question before leaving without another word, the rest of the team was confused. Why was ENNOSHITA going over to Seijoh? Why did they all recognize him?

“Excuse me? But could anyone tell me where (Y/N) is? I’m pretty sure they’re your manager unless you idiot managed to get them to quit.”

“They are at a doctor’s appointment with Oikawa,” Watari replied. “They want to make sure they hears the results so they’ll be deciding if he’s playing if they get here in time.”

Ennoshita had nodded his thanks and returned back to his team. He trusted the libero since you would talk about the boy often so he was very aware of your crush on him

“Why did you go over there Ennoshita-senpai?”

“My twin is their manager and is late, I was just curious.”

“TWIN?!”

“Yeah?”

When they saw you they were rather shocked because you’re stunning. Tanaka actually wonders how you’re related to Ennoshita which causes the other second year to hit him upside the head. Kageyama is wary because of you team and his past but he finds you to be really nice, he loves you like a younger brother when you smack Oikawa upside the head without a second thought. Hinata thought you were pretty cool. Yamaguchi thought you were a bit intimidating with the amount of confidence you held. Tsukishima is pretty indifferent but he finds you to be a rather interesting person.

Kiyoko respects you so much; the boys at Seijoh could give Karasuno a run for their money, she just knows it. Suga and Daichi both adopt you: you’re their kid now and they will go to court against Iwa and Oikawa. You’re in just so you and Watari can be like Romeo and Juliet without the death. Unless it’s Oikawa’s. Watari laughed when you brought it up and agreed. It took you both a solid five minutes to realize what you said. It doesn’t matter which team was on your side they were cackling at you two. Ennoshita had video recorded it and was definitely going to show it at the next family reunion to embarrass you. When you did realize what had been said your faces were RED and everyone was surprised because Seijoh’s Royal finally found their match. You love your teams but sometimes your brother and Oikawa really fucking test you

#9 Tobio Kageyama || xIwaizumi (I skipped Narita and Kinoshita due to space😭)

You go to Seijoh, you see you’re the actual brains of the two of you and he’s the bronze.

You two are so different that no one has any idea who you are. You see, you actually went to middle school in Tokyo since your parents divorced and Miwa took you with her. Now, you’re back in Miyagi and ready to stay for your brother, even if you go to different schools.

I won’t lie, you’re a simp for Iwa but who can blame you? He likes you too but since your two years younger than him and he’s getting ready to graduate neither of you make a move. Seijoh gets really tired of you two dancing around each other and will lock you both in a closet if they have too, they don’t hesitate. It’s kind of scary. No one finds out about your heritage until the practice match and it’s hilarious to see the team’s face. Not only are you the smarter of the two of you you’re the more outgoing and friendly of the two. While Seijoh knew of your feelings for Iwaizumi they couldn’t help but stare when a wide smile broke out onto your face when you saw your annoying fucker of a twin brother(they didn’t know he was your brother yet). You just ran over to Karasuno and tackled Kageyama to the ground laughing when he groans at the impact of the floor, you protected his head from concussion but he was still annoyed. You saw him this morning? Why the hell are you giddy?

“TOBIO-NII! YOU DIDN’T CHICKEN OUT!”

“NO I DIDN’T! GET OFF OF ME (Y/N)!”

The gym was so silent at that and Kageyama had to fling you off of him and the two of you started play fighting and yelling. You had a smile on your face because you loved to rile your brother up but it also helped him take his mind off the game and become less nervous. Karasuno was less surprised than Seijoh because you never mentioned being the King’s sibling? Karasuno at least knew Kageyama had two siblings and they knew one attended Seijoh but they had been expecting someone that was as cold as he was.

You and Hinata get along so well, he’s your new best friend and everyone can feel the innocent chaos radiating off of you. Tsukishima is your second love because anyone who has no problem teasing your brother without any true malice is great. Yamaguchi is startled by your outward behavior but likes you a lot, you’re just so goddamn chipper. The second years think your magical because holy shit Kageyama is smiling so purely? Seijoh is shocked too. The third years kind of adopt you and Kiyoko and you swap numbers so you can contact each other.

When Seijoh manages to whisk you away your fellow first years looked so surprised like the rest of the team. They asked you why you never brought up being the king’s twin but you just shrugged and said you rather be known for you than your brother. The teams are really protective of you and bets are often made between the teams that concern you, in the Interhigh Kageyama made a deal that whichever team won was the team you’d go to school with (you’d have to transfer to Karasuno), since you like both schools you agreed. Seijoh won and Iwa actually swooped you up and kissed you, as upset as Kageyama was he couldn’t fault how happy you were and he was glad you stayed with Seijoh, even if you weren’t with him.

#10 Shoyo Hinata || xShirabu

You go to Shiratorizawa and you’re their ball of sunshine and innocence alongside Goshiki.

Everyone knows you’re related, have you seen your hair? You are much smarter than Hinata and can even be considered a genius by some, that is actually how you met Shirabu. Like Shirabu you didn’t get a scholarship to attended Shiratorizawa so you had to take and pass their entrance exam and since you were one of the few that did you had Shirabu as your guide. You have a lot of energy and stamina like your brother but you don’t have to take the long bike travel like your brother does because you have dorms, but when you do bike you still have energy afterwards.

When you met Karasuno for the first time it was right before the big game and you could tell your brother was nervous so you did the logical thing and tackled him in a hug. It wasn’t hard for anyone to figure out who you were because of your hair but they were still surprised that the shrimp had a smart and good-looking twin. They all liked you and thought you were awesome but when they won that game they were so ecstatic, they looked over at you but they realized you weren’t smiling happily like them, you were crying. They had completely forgot that you were the Shiratorizawa manager until they saw you hugging Shirabu while sobbing at you team’s loss. Hinata was glad you lived in the dorms because you had looked so depressed at the loss that it killed him.

When they saw you again it was when you were on a date with Shirabu in a much happier mood. You both greeted the team and you waved at them with the one not being held by your lovely boyfriend. Poor Hinata was yelling incoherently at the sight of his twin dating the salty setter, they were all surprised. A salty bastard with the definition of sunshine was surprising but none of them argued but they all threatened the future captain not to hurt you. Shirabu was grumbling because he had already heard it from the rest of Shiratorizawa.

“We won’t lose to you next year!”

#11 Kei Tsukishima || xAkaashi

You go to Fukurodani due to your parents being divorced and only seeing each other during holidays.

You meet at the Tokyo summer camp and were proud that your brother had learned to make some friends beyond Yamaguchi who is excited to see you again. You’re brother knew you went to a private school in Tokyo and even had a boyfriend but he hadn’t been expecting you to be one of the three managers from Fukurodani Academy. He had stood their gaping at you in shock that most everyone thought he had fallen for you based on your looks alone but Yamaguchi was quietly laughing at the scene while amusement played in your eyes.

“Hey Tsuki!”

You nearly laughed your ass off, “hey Yams!”

“YOU HAVE A TWIN?”

Tsukishima is actually pretty protective of you and is counting on Akaashi to get you away from his idiot teammates but they both fail, no matter how hard they try because you have to meet them in the end that’s the point of this post damnit. The team likes you a lot and Hinata loves how you’re not mean to him and Kageyama loves the advice you give him about his sets. You’ve been adopted but Tokyo would never let you go so you just help them out and exchange numbers. They love you no matter what and will invite you to hang out with them when they know you’re in town. You make Tsukishima so much happier when your around because you’re two halves of a whole

#12 Tadashi Yamaguchi || xKunimi

You go to Seijoh but you’re extremely quiet so no one notices you’re there

Kunimi has class with you and asked you to become their manager and so you were, no regrets most of the time. Oikawa tries to flirt with you but you hide behind Kunimi who is silently laughing at the offended look on his captain’s face. Seijoh would die for you and I’m not being dramatic they would die for you and thought they knew a lot about you. They didn’t know you and Yamaguchi were related because they’ve never heard of the boy. You don’t really talk about it unless asked because you don’t go off sharing information about your private life.

When the practice match comes around you quietly go over and hug your twin who hugs you back; ya’ll are soft twins. When parted Tsukishima will give you a head pat while Yamaguchi introduces you to his team. You’re so shy and quiet that they all want to protect you, Kageyama does too but he’s wary. It is clear enough to him that you’re involved with Kunimi but you aren’t hostile to him but give him a small comforting smile before taking your brother to be introduced yo your team. Seijoh finds the two of you to be an adorable pair of siblings and is careful in greeting your brother because they don’t want to face your wrath.

Gender: I want to try and keep it gender neutral but my original idea was f!reader so just tell me if you spot any mistake.

Notes: It’s been over a year since I last posted but I’m back and hopefully staying.

Background Information:

You went to Teiko during your time in middle school and you had a lot of great times until they didn't. The team fell apart in a span of weeks and you could only witness it from the sidelines because nothing you said seemed to matter to them.

The only ones you keep in contact with is Kuroko and Momoi with your new phone number because they don’t want the Miracles to come and search for you after they realized their problems

You’re actually pretty calm and quiet though you can get loud when necessary.

Your parents/guardians also had been waiting to accept a job in Miyagi so it was the perfect timing. You left without many knowing and entered Karasuno as your new school which you hoped would be calmer than what Teiko had been.

NOW KARASUNO:

You joined the volleyball club as a manager because why not? You certainly weren’t running back to basketball anytime soon and volleyball was also a court sport so the environment might be similar, right?

The team was very nice to you when you joined and no you didn’t tell them that you were Teiko’s manager, they could figure it out on their own. It’s not like they couldn’t look up your name and find out that Y/n L/n has a few articles on them for being a famous manager.

Tanaka flirted with you at first but he quickly became protective of you and Kiyoko lives in slight fear because you are the best wingman/woman she has ever met and some of the tricks might work.

The other second years like you as well, they’re all pretty calm so you had respect for them. Nishinoya was chaotic as hell around you but that’s his personality so you didn’t question it and you found him kind of funny.

The third years are parents with Asahi being the shy teddy bear that makes you want to melt at times. Asahi reminds you of Murasakibara at times because of his behavior change off and on the court but they’re distinctly different so you leave it alone.

Suga is now your new mother, sorry but it’s a fact. Daichi is your dad and you have called him that, he gave you a hug.

Now, the first years. How to explain your relationship with the first years? Chaotic to say the absolute least. Tsukishima is a little rude to you at first, he probably made fun of your height, and you couldn’t understand why he and Yamaguchi were friends but you accepted it.

Hinata and Kageyama were dumb, you could fully see that but they were also genius in the art of volleyball. You made a fair trade that they properly teach you the sport and you could help them to the best of your abilities in school.

Now, realistically the search for a new manager wouldn’t happen as Karasuno is used to only having one manager at a time but with Y/n’s expertise you became Ukai’s assistant coach but the title isn’t official since you won’t get paid. Kiyoko used this as an excuse to execute her backup plan of getting another manager.

Yachi was really nervous and you found her cute and you were glad to help teach her the ropes because you never got to in the past. Momoi took care of the incoming managers to distract herself from the chaos going on so that’s all I can say about that.

THEY FIND OUT:

They found out because you were gone for two days because you had to go back to Tokyo for an interview on what each Miracle was doing about a year later and where you were going. Luckily you didn’t run into any of the Miracles while you were in Tokyo so you didn’t have a breakdown.

About a week later the interviews were published in Sports Weekly which Ukai, Kageyama, and Nishinoya typically read. You hadn’t arrived in the gym but everyone else was. Cue Nishinoya asking if anyone has seen or read the article with both Kageyama and Ukai confirming they had while the rest of the team was lost on the matter.

Kageyama and Nishinoya passed around the two magazines while the others read over it with shock. Their manager/assistant coach had been the manager of the legendary Generation of Miracles and they never told anyone? Reading your part of the interview was rather interesting.

Question: What school do you go to now?

Answer: I attend Karasuno High School In Miyagi

Question: Are you still involved in basketball.

Answer: No, I actually couldn’t force myself to join the basketball team as a manager due to personal reasons but I do currently manage the most chaotic volleyball players I know.

Question: How do you think the other Generation of Miracles have improved?

Answer: Leaps and bounds. They were always talented prodigies, with each of them attending different schools they will now be fighting their way to the Winter Cup. That in its self will be something to watch.

Needless to say the interview was longer than that but it still surprised them a great deal because that was an interesting find. None of them would have expected it but none of them should be as surprised as they were. You were an expert for a reason and now they finally understood why.

When you arrived they surrounded you with questions which was kind of overwhelming but Ukai got them to calm down for a small bit as well as back up from you.

You explained that yes it was true that you were one of Teiko’s manager’s and yes you knew the Generation of Miracles. When you explained the fall out and the events of your third year they were all rather pissed off. Not at you, never at you.

They agreed to protect you from the group of basketball prodigies that day and were absolutely stunned when you wanted to go and see a few of them play but they went with you anyway.

On the final for the Winter Cup, you were there like the rest of the fallen Miracles. When they turned on Akashi you just had to join in which was a shock because none of them have seen you since you disappeared like a year ago?

“KUROKO-KUN YOU BETTER BEAT AKASHI-SAN’S ASS OR I SWEAR I’LL FIND AWAY TO MAKE YOUR TRAINING REGIMENT WORSE YOU PHANTOM SHIT!”

One of the few times anyone has seen you like that, especially against Akashi of all people. You were yelling and you not only threatened someone but you cursed at someone, impressive.

You were so happy when Seirin won the game, you were jumping up and down as you cheered for the win, because you could see it as you looked at the Miracles. They may of changed but your boys were back. Of course you would never leave Karasuno after they brought such a chaos into your life than you thought possible.

When Karasuno came in for Spring Nationals you were excited and you weren’t expecting the Miracles to be cheering in the crowd for your team but you were more than happy with the outcome.

Karasuno version

Daichi Sawamura:

He should have gone home last night instead of working overtime in the office. He should have walked  you home, and spent the night with you in his arms, but he didn’t. Now he is at the crime scene of a brutal murder. You weren’t at home watching the news, or making pancakes, you were dead here on the ground. There were ligature marks on both your wrists, and strangulation marks on your neck. How could he let this happen. He promised that he would always protect  you, yet your cold body still lies before him with a look of fear forever plastered on your face and in his heart. If only he could go back in time and fulfill his promise to you.

Koshi Sugawara:

He was doing parent teacher interviews with his first graders. The next student was his favourite, but he would never admit it out loud. She looked just like the girl who still held his heart. She even had the same look when she was focused on her school work as you do when you were concentrated. She was one of his best students, so he was excited to talk to the parents of this sweet little girl. That was until he saw his favorite pupil holding your hand while you were in the arms of another man. He wished it was him instead. He wished he could turn back time and be with you and your children for the rest of your lives. It only hurt more when you called him “Sugawara”. Not “Koshi” or “babe”. Just Sugawara.

Asahi Azumane:

You were the ever-so-famous model. He was a new designer. He never should have fallen for you. And you never should have fallen for him. But it happened, and the relationship was far from perfect. In the beginning, you were just innocently modeling his designs, but as you grew more infatuated with him, the more he just had to have you. Beginnings are always blissful. Now, you never model any of his designs. Now you hold no love for him. Now it was just pain as he watched your live stream wedding. You didn’t love him anymore, but he could never stop loving you.It caused him so much pain as he watched you happily say “I do.” to the man in front of you. The man who you loved. If he could turn back time, he would never meet you. Maybe then he wouldn’t be in pain. 

Nishinoya Yuu:

You were wrapped around him like a small koala bear as he cuddled you. You were securely placed in his arms. Your warmth made Nishinoya smile, but as he reached his arm towards you, he was met with nothing. No one was there. You weren’t there. It was all a dream because he couldn’t turn back time and bring you back, because you didn't love him. 

Tanaka Ryuunosuke:

It had been a good day at work, he saw a few of his favorite clients, and none of them create unnecessary drama. And on top of that, he got to go home early to see his pregnant wife. Today was good. Was good. As he ignorantly strolled through the door, he wasn’t greeted with your usual “Hey babe!” or “How was work today?”. He was met with eerie silence. He raced into action to find you. He ran through the kitchen and living room yelling your name, looking in every corner to find you. He couldn’t justify why you were out of the house. You were supposed to stay home and rest. So why couldn’t he find you? He race up and down the stairs, and flew through the hallways, until he heard your crying. He walked towards the sound of the weeping and found you in the bathroom, blood on the floor and all along your legs. You were crying on the floor, letting the tears stream down your face and hit the floor. He walked towards you, and picked you up. Holding you like a life line. He didn’t care if blood got on his cloths. All he cared about was you. He listened intently to your rapid breathing and your string of apologies as the whispered that none of it was your fault and reassuring you with sweet nothings. 

When you finally calmed down and were able to breathe steadily again, your eyes where red and puffy, and your skin was blotchy. The sadness that the two of you felt was incomprehensible. You avoided looking at him. You were scared of how he was looking at you. You were scared that if you looked at him all you would see was hate and anger. 

“I’m sorry Ryu.” you said softly, avoiding his gaze. “I’m sorry I couldn’t keep our baby.”

“No dear, none of this is your fault. I don’t blame you at all.” he replied while tenderly grabbing your chin so you would look at him. “We can have another baby together.”

“Together?”

“Together.” he agreed. This moment was painful. If he could redo the months leading up to this day, he would. If it meant that you wouldn’t have felt all of the pain, then he wouldn’t even need to think twice about it.

Kageyama Tobio

How did they lose? Karasuno were supposed to go to nationals this year. So what went wrong? His serves were perfect, his sets were extremely precise. so how could they have lost.

“Kageyama, I think we should do a new type of attack.” stated the shorter orange haired boy. The team had arrived back to the school, you were in the gym watching the boys talk with the coach and doing their own practiving. You knew how hard they worked, especially Tobio. You had to drag him out of the gym during his many late night practices. Kageyama still had not replied to Hinata. “Kageyama?” he asked, trying to get his attention.

“WE DON’T NEED A NEW ATTACK! WE NEED YOU TO BE FASTER AND JUMP HIGHER!” he screamed angrily, holding Hinata up by the collar. Hinata had a look of pure fear and panic as he realized that his feet were no longer on the ground. The rest of the team was yelling at him to put Hinata down, and that it wasn’t his fault. You instinctively run towards him and place a careful hand on his shoulder, only to be pushed back with such speed and power that you were pushed to the ground. The entire gym was quiet in shock. Kageyama had never done anything to hurt you. He was always soft around you, making you were ok and were happy. This action made him realize what he had done. He dropped Hinata to the ground who was coughing, trying to get air into his lungs. He quickly walked towards you, only for you to move away from him. Were you scared of him? Tears had began to pool in your eyes.

“Who are you?” you ask him and you slowly get up and walk away. Out of the gym. 

You didn’t go to school for the rest of the week. When you did, you avoided him like the plague. It wasn’t until two weeks later that he finally got you to listen. He apologized and begged for you to forgive him. But you just looked at him. The look that told him that he wasn’t getting a second chance. You couldn’t look at him as you walk away. You couldn’t let yourself turn around and comfort him. So you just walked away. If the genius setter of Karasuno could redo anything in his life, it would be to get you back.

Hinata Shoyo

When he let you go, he had no idea how stupid he was. You were the light of his life, but he put volleyball before you. That day when you said that you were done in this relationship. You said that you loved him. You told him that he needed to love you as well for the relationship to work. But he was the one who said “I think I can love you.”. Those words which shattered your heart and tears began to pool in your eyes. He didn’t realize how stupid he was until he saw you years later, latched on to another man’s arm. You looked happy. But all he felt was the pain of letting you go. Maybe he could figure out how to go back in time and put in more effort and look into your eyes and say “I love you and I always will.”.

Tsukishima Kei:

Yamaguchi was about to become the happiest man on the planet. It was his wedding day after all. And he was his best man. Tsukishima should be happy for his best friend. Right? But no, he felt jealous. He had loved you since before time, but you loved his best friend, and you were happy loving him. To you Tsukishima was just a friend. But why should he be mad at Yamaguchi? He was the one to tell him to just ask you out. He help him plan at least 100 dates for you. All he wanted was to turn back the clock and ask you out before Yamaguchi did. Maybe then, he would be the groom, and you would be his beautiful bride who would walk down the aisle. But he was supposed to be happy for his best friend. Right?

Yamaguchi Tadashi

Your first kiss with him was magical. You knew it as soon as your lips touched that he was the one. When your lips first touched his, he knew that he just had to keep you.The first kiss was sweet and innocent, and he wouldn’t have it any other was.He could see every freckle and line on your face, and you were mesmerized by the little freckles that dotted his face. It was in that moment, that he fell in love with your littler imperfections with only added to your beauty.  If he could relive a moment of his live, it would be when the universe told him that you were the one.

I love how in haikyuu the friendships are so aggressive. Oikawa suggests Kageyama is better than him and Iwaizumi hits him with a volleyball without hesitation? Suga and Daichi bullying Asahi into joining the team? Tsukki talking shit ab himself and Yamaguchi immediately trying to fight him? Kageyama yelling at Hinata to cheer him up (and it working)? Love it, they're all just constantly making fun of each other

so... im watching Weird Science and just kept on thinking about Tanaka and Nishinoya from Haikyuu!!

Nishinoya:*watching frankenstein* we should do that!!!

Tanaka: do what?

Nishinoya: MAKE A GIRL!!!

Tanaka: we already have kiyoko, what more do we need?

Nishinoya: to make her jealous? to have her yell at us?

“There will be a five minute intermission between performances.” After hearing that announcement, I continued pacing faster as the nervousness grew. I suddenly felt a hand on my own stopping me from moving. “Come on, you’re going to be great, especially when you look like that. There is no way he won’t be looking at you.” The smaller one wore the biggest smile. It seemed to instantly calm my nerves, I was hot and I knew that I was. A smile started to form on my face and the nervousness casually disappeared. “You wanna talk about me, look at you Shoyo. If only you were straight.” We both sit there for a moment, taking in my previous words before we both bust into a fit of laughter. “I love you Angel.” I heard him say while calming down, his face was now serious, and I knew exactly why. “I love you too Shoyo, now let's show him what it means to be a queen.” He pulls me in for a long hug, one that we both definitely needed. “Okay, today we have the amazing opportunity to introduce, straight out of Mijagi, Angel Ace.”

As soon as I hear that, I let go of Shoyo and walk out on stage, as soon as I do the crowd erupts into cheers making me smile. I grab the microphone from the DJ, looking out to the crowd to see 200 people easily, but of those 200, I spot the Karasuno volleyball team almost instantly. “Hi everyone, I know I just got off tour to focus on school, but you can’t forget where you came from right?” I point the mic towards the crowd to hear dozens of people screaming ‘yes.’ I giggle slightly before holding the microphone back to my lips. “So, I wrote two new songs. And you all are going to be the first to hear it, is that okay with you?” Yet again came dozens of responses from the crowd. “First, can everyone do something for me? I invited a few of my friends, can you all clear a path for them to be in the front?” I point at the team and the spotlight is instantly placed on them. The crowd parted like the red sea, giving them a direct path to the stage. Kageyama was the first to move, with a smug look on his face, if only he knew. The rest of the team followed, and before too long they were directly below me. I bend down slightly to talk to them, Suga was the first to talk. “Do you see Hinata, he said he was here.” I could hear the concern in his voice, it made me laugh internally but I had to play it off. “The tiny one with orange hair? I think he went to the bathroom.” Suga nods his head in satisfaction and I stand back up preparing to start. “This song goes out to my lovely boyfriend.” I send Kageyama a smile and motion for the DJ to start the track.

“Could dress up, to get love, but guess what? I'm never gonna be that girl who's living in a Barbie world. Could wake up, in make up, and play dumb, pretending that I need a boy, who's gonna treat me like a toy” As I start singing I could see the confusing in Tobio’s face start to sink in, “I know the other girls wanna wear expensive things, like diamond rings. But I don't wanna be the puppet that you're playing on a string.” I take off my promise ring that he got for our 2 year anniversary and throw it at him, the rest of the team look at him confused and dazed at my action. I haven’t taken that ring off since he bought it for me, not even when I was overseas on tour.

“This queen don't need a king” I can slightly hear Kei snicker and whisper to Tobio about my use of the word king. “Oh, I don't know what you've been told, but this girl right here's gonna rule the world. Yeah, that's where I'm gonna be because I wanna be. No, I don't wanna sit still, look pretty” I pick up a crown from off the stage and lean down to place it on Tobio’s head before tilting it to make it crooked. “You get off on your 9 to 5, dream of picket fences and trophy wives. But no, I'm never gonna be 'cause I don't wanna be. No, I don't wanna sit still look pretty” I back up and walk towards the curtain, I grab Shoyo’s hand and pull him on stage, he looks at me with confusion. “This wasn’t part of the plan.” I smirk at him as I hear gasps from the crowd, but mostly from the team. “Yes it was, now sing. I know you know the lyrics.” I smirk at him before motioning towards the team and handing him the mic, he seems to stop on Tobio before gaining some confidence and singing. “Mr. Right could be nice, for one night, but then he wanna take control. And I would rather fly solo” He starts off pretty shaky, but when we lock eyes he starts to get the feel of the music.

I start clapping and dancing to the music, the crowd seems to get my flow and follows along with me. The looks on the team’s faces makes me laugh, Shoyo suddenly grabs my hand and dances with me, both of our skirts flying up and down. “That Snow White, she did it right in her life. Had 7 men to do the chores 'cause that's not what a lady's for.” The music starts getting louder and we both start getting a music high, forgetting that anyone was even there. “The only thing that a boy's gonna give a girl for free's captivity. And I might love me some vanilla but I'm not that sugar sweet. Call me HBIC” When he finished that line, the whole crowd went wild, we both shared a mutual glance and decided to finish the song together.

When we finished the song, the whole crowd was yelling and shouting my name. When the music finally stopped all the lights went off and the two of us went behind the curtain. I could hear the groans and complaints from behind the curtain, one of the tech crew took the microphone and put a headset microphone on me and Shoyo. “You thought that was it?” The crowd heard my voice and started going crazy. I started changing with Shoyo into my other outfit, but the crowd shouldn’t be left alone. I learned that after 6 years of touring and entertaining, the crowd should never be bored. “I have one more thing to do, well actually two.” Shoyo and I are almost finished getting dressed, so let’s introduce the next song. “Ok. girls, gay’s, they’s and overall Queens. We don’t need a king to be happy.” We finally are done getting dressed and we are right in front of the curtain. “But, love is a beautiful thing, so if you find the one, hold them close. We don’t need a king, but it never hurts to have one.” I grab Shoyo’s hand and walk out onto the stage. As soon as the crowd sees us, they start screaming thinking that we are dating or something.

I could see the smug look on Tobio’s face when he sees the crown I’m wearing, and of course they match. That was the plan, I pull Shoyo towards me as we take center stage. “This, my adoring fans, is Hinata Shoyo. My best friend, he is a queen yet I can not call him mine because he sadly belongs to someone else.” I fake sadness, turning my head away from him. I can feel him laughing because I’m still holding his hand, this causes me to laugh as well. When I turn back to the crowd I see that Tobio’s smug look is now full of horror. I let go of Shoyo and move towards the front of the stage, I put my hand out to Tobio, he hesitantly takes my hand and I pull him up on stage. I manage to force him to stand center stage between Shoyo and me. “And this is our ex-boyfriend. Kageyama Tobio. Cute, isn’t he?” They seem to be able to sense the sarcasm in my voice and stayed silent. Shoyo speaks next, continuing my little monologue. “By ex, she means that he dated us at the same time, and it almost worked.” Everything goes silent, as they don’t know where we’re going with this. “Yet, what he didn’t know is that we… are twins.” At that very moment, nothing could be heard except screams and gasps. “We don’t look the same, because of course we’re fraternal. And she dyes her hair.” Both of our smiles widen and we turn towards Tobio. “This final song ISN'T dedicated to you, but two very special people in this room.” Shoyo looks at me when I speak first, yet I maintain my innocent smile. “I will be taking this, thank you for holding it Tobio-chan~” His nickname comes out mockingly as I take the crown off of his head. I walk over to Shoyo and take the crown off his head as well before placing a tiara on top, “Perfect, now where are our Prince Charmings.” When I finish my sentence, the music starts playing on que.

“Boys seem to like th  e girls who laugh at anything. The ones who get undressed before the second date” I start singing and push Tobio towards the front of the stage but not far enough so he would fall. He quickly gets the hint and gets off the stage and joining the others. “Girls seem to like the boys who don't appreciate, all the money and the time that it takes.” I hear Shoto start singing and I turn around to look him in the face, smiling at his confidence. “To be fly as a mother. Got my both eyes out for Mr. Right. Guessing now I just don't know where to find them. But I hope they all come out tonight” He sees me looking at him and shrugs his shoulders, but as soon as he finishes that last line he smiles wide. “Where do the good boys go to hide away, hide away? I'm a good, good girl who needs a little company. Looking high and low, someone let me know. Where do the good boys go to hide away, hide away?” We decided to sing this part together, he ran up to me and jumped on my back causing me to laugh. We might be twins, but he’s still shorter than me. “Boys seem to like the girls who like to kiss and tell” I put him down and kiss his cheek when he sings this part. “Talking them up about things that do so well” I sing the next part, taking his hand and spinning him. “I'd rather find a boy who is down for the chase. Putting in the time that it takes to be fly as a mother.” I stop him in front of the stage and wink towards his obvious crush, he won’t admit it but the blush on his face says enough. “To supply all of my heart's demands. Suit and tie 'cause undercover, he's gonna save my life like superman” I walk behind Shoyo while he sings this part, I place my hands on his shoulders and point him in the direction of the team. “Where do the good boys go to hide away, hide away? I'm a good, good girl who needs a little company. Looking high and low, someone let me know. Where do the good boys go to hide away, hide away?” I smirk at Shoto as we both sing this together, he raises an eyebrow at me.

I walk over to the end of the stage and reach my hand out once again, but not to Tobio, to Kei. “Tell me where the good boys go. Tell me where the good boys go. Tell me where the good boys go” Shoyo starts singing nervously, but still good nonetheless, Kei takes my hand and I pull him up on stage with us. I start clapping along to the beat and the crowd follows me before I cover my mic and whisper to him, “Go to your princess.” He widens his eyes at me, but I simply motion to Shoyo before smirking at him. “Will somebody tell me, tell me” I hear Shoyo finish the line and I push Kei over to him, I could lightly hear Kei say, “I’m right here.” A light smile appears on my face, but I quickly regain my focus on the crowd. “Tell me where the good boys go. Tell me where the good boys go. Tell me where the good boys go. Tell me where the good boys go” I continue clapping, but I can hear light “oos” from the crowd. I turn around to see Shoyo and Kei kissing. I walk over to them, still singing, and place a crown on Kei’s head. “Where do the good boys go to hide away, hide away. I'm a good, good girl who needs a little company. Looking high and low, someone let me know” Shoyo surprises me and starts singing, I chuckle slightly and sing with him. He catches my attention and motions towards the group, my eyes widen and he smirks at me. “Where do the good boys go to hide away, hide away. Hide away, hide away. Hide away, hide away” I give in and walk towards the end of the stage, touching a few fans' hands as I pass by. Instead of pulling someone up, I jump off the stage into our group of friends. “Looking high and low, someone let me know” I look back up at Shoyo and Kei and he nods at me, I let out a deep sigh and get ready to sing the next line. I grab Asahi’s head and place my lips on his, I can feel him tense for a moment before relaxing. He kisses me back, grabbing my waist and pulling me towards him.

When we finally break for air he places his forehead on mine. “Where do the good boys go to hide away, hide away” My voice fades out as I look him in the eyes, then the whole club goes dark as he turns the lights off. While in this darkness, I manage to place the crown in my hand on his head before kissing him again. This one full of passion and longing, I pull away and grab his hand and pull him on stage with me. The lights turn back on as we walk towards Shoyo and Kei, all I can hear are screams and cheers from the crowd but I let go of Asahi, completely ignoring the crowd at the moment. I grab Shoyo and we hug each other, this one I’ve waited 3 years to do. “If he hurts you, I will kill him. I don’t care that he’s my best friend.” I can feel him chuckle slightly as he hugs me harder as soon as I finish talking. “I could say the same. But it’s Asahi-senpai.” As soon as those words leave his mouth I almost break down into tears but we have a show to finish. Anyways, you are a first year like Yachi

Actually Yachi dragged you into this because she was nervous

She had told you about this hot girl who had approached her and asked her to be the boys volleyball manager

You were a bit nervous to say the least

It wasn’t necessarily because your were athletic or didn’t know anything about volleyball

But, in the past, you’d been bullied about your size

And of course, these guys were athletes and they would be fit

To your surprise, however, they said nothing about your weight

Heck they didn’t even seem to notice you were plus sized

Literally all you had to do was breathe YN and these boys would faint 😂

Karasuno treats all their managers like queens and is super protective

They adored you, Yachi and Kiyoko so much and appreciated everything you did for them

You threw them a towel? Eternally grateful 🙌🏻

Filled their water bottle? Excessive thank you’s

Took detailed notes? Framed them and read them everyday

Literally it would be hard to find a more thankful team!

However, not everyone was as nice as Karasuno

You’d faced bullies in middle school and high school

Thankfully most of the people at your high school were pretty decent and nice

But when tournaments came around 👀

Well let’s just say not everyone extended a warm welcome

It was inter high and you were tasked with filling up the water bottles

Honestly, it was your favorite task because you didn’t have to deal with Hinata and Kageyama fighting or Noya and Tanaka peacocking in front of the other team 🙄

As you filled the bottles, you noticed a group of guys gathering behind you

You thought nothing of it, thinking that maybe they were waiting for the water fountain

After you finished, you moved out of the way, turning to smile at them

“You can have the water fountain now! Sorry I was filling up my teams bottles!”

The guys all stared at you with disgust on their faces before one spoke up

“There was no way we could get to the fountain anyways with you taking up that much space.”

The guys all burst in laughter as you watched them

At first, you didn’t think it was due to your size and maybe you were just in the middle of both fountains

“Oh I’m sorry. I would have moved over for you.”

The guys all just laughed as another one spoke

“Not like we’d have any space with your fat ass taking up both fountains!”

Hearing this worlds, your heart instantly sank

But those idiots weren’t done 😑

Because if there’s anything we know about bullies, it’s that they do so to make themselves feel better

And these dummies must have really been feeling like shit…

“Honestly I didn’t even know there were two fountains behind her she’s so big!”

“Damn she’s like a walking billboard for Karasuno!”

The guys laughed as tears began to fill your eyes and your lip began to quiver

These guys were jerks who were hitting every one of your insecurities

And worst of all, you were frozen as the tears began to fall

“Awe did we make the baby hippo cry?” One of the laughed

You tried your hardest to move but you were frozen, unable to run from the bullies

However 👀👀 as luck would have it, you weren’t alone

Because Yachi had been sent to help you

And she saw the entire exchange 😌

She quickly turned, running back to the gym to grab the guys

Kiyoko saw Yachi frantically running and asked her what happened. Panting, Yachi recalled the events

Instantly the atmosphere in the gym changed

Without saying a word, Daichi, Noya and Tanaka took off

The rest of the team following quickly behind

Even Tsukishima was moving quickly 😱

When they say you, still standing there and crying

Oh boy : D

I would not want to be those bullies right about now

Kiyoko and Yachi ran to you and hugged you

“Are you ok Yn?” Kiyoko asked as you shook your head and cried harder

Daichi walked right up to them and got in their face, Suga, Tanaka and Noya right on his heels

“What the hell did you just say to our manager?” Daichi boomed as your head shot up to see the team right in front of you

“What us? Nothing we were just waiting for the water fountain,” one of the jerks said as Suga glared at them

“That’s not what we heard you were doing,” Suga spoke as Tanaka and Noya began to crack their knuckles

By this time, a crowd was starting to gather

Seijoh, Shiratorizawa, Date tech…

And let me just say, they do not look happy

“We heard you said something to our BEAUTIFUL Manager. Mind repeating that…” Tanaka said, cracking his neck from side to side

The guys faces began to pale as Karasuno’s eyes burned with anger

You didn’t want anyone to fight because you knew that they could get kicked out of the tournament

“Guys hey it’s ok, let’s just go,” you said, wiping your eye as Kiyoko and Yachi grabbed your arm

“I think we need to teach these jerks a lesson!” Noya snarled

Nobody was going to stop this

Literally Kunimi was filming because he knew Karasuno was not to be messed with

Heck even Oikawa and Iwaizumi were ready to back Karasuno up!

And because jerks don’t know how to keep their mouths shut, they continued to fan the flames

“Come on guys, she’s huge! How can we not comment on that? I mean I felt the floors move when she walked here!” One of them chuckled

Wrong thing to say bestie

“Let’s take this outside!” Tanaka said, grabbing the jerk by the collar and pulling him towards the exit

The other bullies tried to intervene but were stopped by the wall of Date Tech

“Yeah you ain’t going nowhere,” Futakuchi smirked as Aone glared at the boys

The bullies rn 👉🏻👁️👄👁️

“Hey man let me go! Listen I’m sorry ok!” The one being dragged by Tanaka cried

You didn’t want anyone to get hurt or expelled from the tournament because of you

You stood tall, wiping your eyes as you left Kiyoko and Yachi’s side

“YN wait!” Yachi yelled as you approached Tanaka and the bully

“Tanaka please don’t! I don’t want you to get hurt or kicked out! Karasuno has worked too hard for this,” you spoke as Tanaka looked from you to the bully

He shoved the bully to the ground as he glared down at him

“You’re lucky city boy!”

You breathed a sigh of relief as Tanaka walked away, grabbing your hand

Unfortunately the bully and his now broken ego weren’t don’t 🙄

“I knew Karasuno was a bunch of wimps!”

Daichi, Noya and Tanaka turned around and were ready

“Let’s go city boy! Two hits, I hit you, you hit the ground!” Tanaka shouted

Before you could stop them, they tore down fr towards the boy

Your eyes widened in shock as you prepared for a fight

But thankfully, an Angel shined down from the heavens

An Angel in the form of one tall, rather salty first year

The king of comebacks, Tsukishima 💅

“A bunch of wimps? You’re the one picking on a girl who was filling up water bottles for her team,” Tsukishima spat as Daichi, Noya and Tanaka halted

Everyone turned to look at Tsukishima who had now walked over to the boy and was looking over him

“Where is your manager? Oh wait, you don’t even have one do you? Jealous much? Or maybe it’s because your pathetic asses can’t find any girls who are even remotely interested in being your managers.”

The bully glared up at Tsukishima was was now smirking

“Werent you that team who couldn’t even make it past the first round last time? Yeah that’s right you got your asses handed to you in straight sets.”

“Yeah well at least our team doesn’t isn’t known as being fallen champions!” The bully spat back as Tsukishima laughed, bending over and making eye contact with the jerk

“At least people know who we are, nobody even knows your name.”

“Yeah well-”

“And now that everyone does know who you are, I think they all want to crush you,” Suga added as the boy gulped, looking around at everyone who was glaring at him

“Gee I wonder who your first opponent is?” Oikawa interjected

“That would be us,” Ushiwaka said, arms crossed and glaring at the man

“Oh I’d hate to be your right now!” Tendo laughed, coming from behind Ushiwaka

The boy got to his feet as Tsukishima continued to smirk, everyone still staring at him

“Come on man let’s get out of here,” one of his teammates said

The bully just scoffed before turning around and walking away

Everyone watched as they left for their gym before turning to you

“Are you ok Yn?” Asahi asked as you nodded

“I’ll be ok thank you but you guys didn’t have to do that,” you softly spoke

“No way we were going to sit back and let someone say those things YN!” Hinata shouted

“Yeah that’s why we turned Tsuki lose on his ass!” Yamaguchi smiled

“Shut up Tadashi,” Tsuki said as he began walking back the gym

“Sorry you had to deal with that Yn. If you ever need help, don’t be afraid to ask,” Iwaizumi stepped up

“We are perfectly capable of protecting our manager but thanks,” Daichi growled

“Ok enough of that, let’s go,” Suga said, pushing Daichi back to the gym

Kiyoko took your hand and began to walk away when Ushiwaka stepped in your way

“I will crush them for you Yn,” he said, voice monotone and face passive

You just smiled wide before hugging him

“What the hell Yn where is my hug? I was ready to mess up my spiking hand for you!” Tanaka cries as Ennoshita smacked him

I love how in haikyuu the friendships are so aggressive. Oikawa suggests Kageyama is better than him and Iwaizumi hits him with a volleyball without hesitation? Suga and Daichi bullying Asahi into joining the team? Tsukki talking shit ab himself and Yamaguchi immediately trying to fight him? Kageyama yelling at Hinata to cheer him up (and it working)? Love it, they're all just constantly making fun of each other
