Patrick Troughton, Katy Manning, Tom Baker, Jon And Sean Pertwee At A Party Celebrating 15 Years Of Doctor Who In November 1978.
On the contrary from my previous post - giving the Classic doctors NuWho style regenerations:
Hartnell: The Twice Upon A Time speech he gives, only he does it in front of Ben and Polly before doing the yellow T-pose and turning into Troughton.
Troughton: Very unsure on this seeing as there's multiple choices on where to put this (The War Games, Devious, The Night Walkers comic, etc.)
Pertwee: Instead of collapsing to the floor, he just stumbles out of the TARDIS and has Sarah-Jane hold him up for his last lines, he says 'when there's life there's...', has Sarah-Jane reply 'hope' and smiles, then regenerates. Not sure how you'd fit Cho'je into this one, to be honest.
Baker: I have no idea how this could be done and still involve the Watcher in a cool way, especially since the cause of the regeneration is a fall from a great height. Perhaps he just.. jolts up after the Watcher goes into him, grins then turns back and changes?
Davison: I have seen a YouTube version of this but if I recall it omitted Peri, but the flashback of all his old companions still works and the last line being 'Adric?' is still just as heartbreaking. Not sure how you'd involve Peri here, though.
Baker (2): I've always considered 'The Brink of Death' audio being Six's canon regeneration, so let's go off that. I'm picturing him, like.. holding himself up on the console? The Rani watches him just mumble to himself and walks over just in time to hear 'our future is in safe hands' then the change into McCoy.
McCoy: Very, very unsure on this since it's based on him being in a hospital bed already.
McGann: They essentially already did this, so I'm guessing the elixir just made him collapse for this one.
Interesting how it's a lot harder to modernify the classic regenerations as opposed to classic-ing the modern ones.
if it's any consolation i recall the expanded universe does do this with jamie and handwaves it with 'the time lords have an imperfect understanding of the human mind' and jamie using a few tricks he subconsciously had from the doctor or something like that
i may be wrong since i haven't actually read it but that's what i recall hearing
never seen any of the first(original actor) & second doctor episodes, decided to begin with second seeing as i've always just made my way through classic who in the most chaotic manner possible by just buying the dvds at random from my local cex since my early teens & you know, seeing as it's so dated episodes are missing to this day, i thought i was in for bad effects, gentle & fun storytelling of a recorder playing doctor travelling through time & space with a companion who throws a rock at the antagonists.
how have i ended up with EMOTIONAL DAMAGE 😭there should be a warning on the second doctor finale. glad to see i was right for supporting dhawan!master when he burnt that planet to the ground. hope he spat on the time lord council's ashes <3
i know most are unfortunately no longer with us from the one-three era but if jamie & zoe's actors are still alive & if the writers do end up fixing what happened to donna then there is no reason why they can't also fix jamie & zoe.
So... The Curse of Peladon And THIS just happened

Because I couldn't resist... You get one more! Who doesn't love a self-portrait? What a journey! Thanks for coming along! The background of this piece has a TON of easter eggs from across 60 YEARS of Doctor Who! What can you spot?

Visited one of my favourite stores today JB Hifi - and officially started my Patrick Troughton Era DVD collection. I think I'm off to a good start.

You’ve thwarted my elaborate security precautions twice. I’d like to know why.

The Enemy of the World - Victoria: Perhaps we’ve landed in a world of mad men! Doctor: They’re human beings, if that’s what you mean. Indulging their favourite past time of trying to destroy each other.

An unintelligent enemy is far less dangerous than an intelligent one, Jamie.
Everything changed on Tumblr, and I'm looking around, trying to figure out where the heck everything is, and swear to the skies, my first thought was a flash of the second Doctor in "The Five Doctors" saying, "You've redecorated, I don't like it." I think he says it to the Brigadier's replacement? He might say it in "The Three Doctors" too, both of which I should watch again. The second Doctor rocked.
