rwrb character texting styles
so i was looking into different character's texting styles for a rwrb fic that i'm writing so here's an analysis on how the white house trio + henry text in distinct styles (since unfortunately we don't see any texts from pez or bea)
alex: all lowercase, minimal punctuation. uses slang but not an overwhelming amount (this is very different from how he writes emails which basically are written following the rules of grammar and punctuation)
henry: perfect grammar and punctuation (he capitalizes nouns in the beginning of sentences and never leaves off a period), little to no slang. (he basically texts almost the same as he writes his emails, EXCEPT for when alex is thirsting over his dad)
june: capitalizes her sentences and proper nouns but she leaves off the ending period. tends to use exclamation points and question marks three times (or more) to emphasize her points. occasional use of slang or symbols
nora: leans more heavily into memes and slang, also all lowercase. only uses punctuation to ensure her meaning is understood. seems to be the only one in the book who sends memes/gifs in the chats
