I didn't study as much for the MCAT this week as I would have liked, but something is better than nothing. Plus, I'm still early to studying 😊 I hope I do much better next week!

This week has definitely been better. I'm currently aiming to do at least 3 hours of MCAT studying a day, but as the data shows I have much to work on 😅 fyi at least 20 minutes a day I also work on korean, so this isn't all just MCAT studying

Was planning to study for 4 hours today, but could only manage 3. I know I could push for that last hour, but I won't actually get anything valuable out of it so I'll just head to bed and try better tomorrow.

Today was a good productive day! I got a little over 4 hours of studying done! I'm so happy that I'm getting over my 3 hours a day for the most part this week 😄

As aesthetic as paper notes look I'm switching all my MCAT notes to my ipad so I can easily search up topics. Don't worry I only did one short biology chapter and I'm writing the notes, not typing them

Much more productive week! I'm so happy that I've studied at least 3 hours each day. I know I have so much free time that 3 hours is nothing, but either way I'll take what I can get 😄

Since I'm trying to learn Korean while studying for the MCAT, I decided to choose 5 random words to try to learn a week. I'm keeping all of them in a mini composite notebook so I can pull it out anywhere and review them. Gotta start somewhere, right?

So far I've done 19/100 days of studying. Of course this isn't much, but considering that I'm on summer break and I'm only focusing on the MCAT and Korean I think it's great! I can't wait for the day I reach 100 (but I won't stop there).

I can't believe I start my senior year in exactly one week! It feels like I was just a freshman yesterday, trying to figure out my schedule, my classes, and how to live on my own. I'm so ready for my undergrad days to be behind me, but then again I'm sad that this chapter of my life will soon be over.

Doing some reading before my first class of my senior year! I can't believe I'm on the last lap of my undergrad career. After this it's onto my gap year and the hopefully med school!! Wish me luck today and good luck to those starting school or already in school 😄😄

Getting my set up all ready so when I'm done getting ready and having breakfast I can just jump into my schoolwork. I hope everyone has a good Monday!!! 😄😄

Morning full of hot chocolate, cinnamon rolls and a recorded molecular pathology lecture. Not a glamorous life, but I'm happy so thats all that matters 😊

Organic mango green tea while working on my nutrition study guide.

I can't believe we're already in October, where did the time go? I want this semester to go faster but at the same time I want to experience my senior year to the fullest.

The love of my life is in the future, and by love of my life I mean my degree. I haven't been in this long term relationship (schooling) for nothing.

Have to cram my studying in after work. I really hate that I have so many midterms and then quizzes and labs on top of that.

I'm currently one energy drink and coffee into my night.

I'm not going to be properly happy again until I no longer have to take philosophy again. It's 12:24am and I have two more short essays to write for my midterm exam. I never want to hear about Hume, Aristotle, Aquinas, etc. again after this class. My brain is fried and these energy drinks can only keep me up for so long.

Not ready to start my midterms week, but here goes nothing.

I'm only on day one of midterm week officially, though I've been having exams since last week.

I'm not sure why but I'm a bit sad and mellow, not sure if it's the stress of all the exams or if it's the weather or if it's just one of those days :/

Going to try to take today a little slow and just do my best and not push myself tonight since I still have an entire week of exams. Wish me luck!

I rarely ever write in pencil, but sometimes it's just so aesthetically pleasing and comforting. It brings me back to when I was little.

Going back and forth between pathology and anatomy

So just before my noon lecture I filled out the paperwork for my advising session with my advisor. I'm finding it completely insane that I technically only need 7 credits to graduate! Like obviously I am taking 15 credits (maybe plus one fun one) next semester, my last semester in undergrad! Last week I even registered for my May graduation!! Insane right?!

Here's the truth though, I may be graduating in four years with my biomedical science major and business administration minor, but it WASN'T an easy task. I have withdrawn from anatomy once, failed it the second time, and now in my third time I am possibly POSSIBLY going to pass. I withdrew from biochemistry once, and got a C the second time, and plan to retake it next semester in hopes of a better grade. 

Am I pre-med? Yes. Do I plan to go to medical school? Yes. Am I not necessarily the smartest? Yes. Am I insane to put myself through this? Yes...but here’s the thing, I can’t imagine myself doing anything else. I have failed many times, but what keeps me going is knowing that in the future I will wake up whether that’s 9am, 4pm or 2:30am and still love my job. Is this attitude for certain and going to happen every single time, most certainly not, but I will cling to it until it becomes reality. It’s not a question of if I’ll be a doctor, because I know I will become one, it might take some time, but I will do it.
