Man lesbians are rad, actually.
You're a lesbian if you feel like one. You're a lesbian if you also like men. You're a lesbian if you ARE a man. You're a lesbian if you're also aro. You're a lesbian if you're also ace. You're a lesbian if you're aroace—
Queer Affirmations
[Pt: Queer affirmations end pt]
There is no such thing as ‘having too many’ labels. Your identity is your own, so have fun with it!
Queer experiences are highly diverse; no two queer people are exactly the same.
Wear what makes you happy!
Use whatever pronouns you feel comfortable with.
Label your attraction however you see fit.
Go by as many names as you want.
Being trans doesn't have to be defined by suffering.
Being queer is not something to be ashamed of!
Your identity doesn't have to make sense to other people for it to be valid.
You aren't ‘invading spaces’ by being yourself.
Love isn't what makes you human. Having sex isn't what makes you human.
Your body isn't an ‘error’ of nature.
Being a ‘cringy’ queer person is rad!
You don't have to change your presentation or body to be a valid trans person. You don't owe anyone androgyny.
Friendly reminder that you aren't the problem, exclusionists are.
There's no wrong way to be queer. I received some anons today forgetting that, so instead of giving them more than a nod in ways of attention, I am here to remind you that:
if you're a lesbian who's a man/gay for men as a woman
if you use xenopronouns and/or neopronouns
if you date men as a lesbian or if you date as a loveless aro (or as an aro in general)
if you have sex as an ace person
if you abstain from sex and dating
etcetera, your experience is real. Your experience is supported here, and by people who are worth your time. People who say you can't do something while using a certain label, or mock your experiences, are not worth your time. There are horrible things directed at the queer community, and it's important to surround yourself with people who support YOU for YOU. The LGBTQ community seems to have issues with that but trust me when I say there are people who will support you.
I find myself upset when someone comes into my inbox to spread their closeminded views, but I remind myself that I am not doing anything wrong by existing. Neither are you. Keep being a staple of the queer experience. <2
when i say i support lesboys i genuinely mean any and all forms of lesboys. not just ones who are partially boys, ones who are are 100% fully men too. cis men too idc.
The best thing you can do is live as happily as you can. exist. because some people really don't like that, and it makes them angry that you can smile and exist as yourself.
