No because literally.
The way klayley stans twist every single scene they have together to prove "they were in love" is laughable because they literally ignore the whole context of the scene. Every single occasion in which Klaus "showed" any romantic feelings towards Hayley is him lashing out because Jackson gets to play daddy to his daughter or because Elijah hurt him.
Like this man literally went to search for Hayley in New Orleans, threatening everyone and knowing he was making the people who held her hostage more angry and wanting to kill her more because Elijah broke his heart and Marcel even was mad about it, telling him to get his shit together and not let it cloud his judgment because Hayley's life was danger and he was even flirting with Caroline while she was being beaten so let's stop š (the way people use this as "proof" Klaus loved her tho, everyone and even Klaus himself kept saying he was doing this so Hope didn't lose her mother and because Elijah broke his heart).
Yes, they were sexually attracted to each other during a long time (all that died in s4 and s5 tho) but that doesn't equal romantic love, like wtf. Hayley pointed out she was scared of Klaus during her pregnancy and she was willing to let Klaus kill himself in s4 so Elijah (the man she loved) could come back, Klaus was willing to let Hayley die in s1 if that meant Hope would live, and he begged for Cami's life the moment Aurora threatened her yet was willing to let Lucien potentially kill Hayley because his pride was bigger.
"klayley is canonically romantic" embarassing š
I don't understand why people try to invalidate the fact that Klaus abused Hayley. He took her freedom, he physically assaulted her, and he said he trusted her and then broke her neck. He cursed her and kept her away from the daughter she died to birth just because he felt entitled to the baby. He became a deadbeat, and she had to do all the lifting on her own, and like every ungrateful teenager, Hope still didn't hesitate to throw her under the bus to have Klaus attention. Klaus loved Hayley as a family and was sexually attracted to her for a while, yes. But let's not pretend that he spent a lot of time tolerating Hayley because she was the womb who gave him a child. She was literally held in a choke by him because she wanted an abortion for the baby he crossed his heart and hoped to die that was unwanted. Klaus didn't love Hayley romantically at all, and that's why he held her to the same kind of abuse he held his siblings, especially Rebekah. The fact he accepted Hayley and Elijah far better than he accepted Jackson because in love with Hayley, Elijah would never leave him, but Hayley with Jackson would limitate his control over her life... basically all he did to Rebekah, on some scale. Cursed her to be trapped as wolf stealing her life, essentially, as he stole Finn's life. It's not the same thing, but it's the same line of thinking. Hayley was and will always be family and I love her character and think she was her best self around Klaus but he didn't loved her as a woman, he loved her a family and because he saw his family as his assets, he abused her as he abused his family, because even being a victim, Klaus was a perpetrator of the cycle of abuse his father started. Abused his siblings, abused his son, and then abused the mother of his child.

KLAUS & CAMILLE in THE ORIGINALS S03E19
Weird question, but what do you think of the sex scenes in the TVDU? I mean only The Vampire Diaries and The Originals 'cause I don't think Legacies has any.
What exactly do you mean, though?
If you refer to what I think as mainly - I think it fits how savage they are. They're vampires, they don't do soft most of the time and that is easy to see in their sex scenes. Stelena was the first important sex scene The Vampire Diaries had (because Damon absolutely raped Caroline so that doesn't count) and it amuses me how sweet and soft that scene is in comparison to how rough later scenes are.
Though my personal favorite is when Klaus and Camille make out in his bed the Christmas episode, it was just so sweet and the fact that Klaus trusted her enough to fall asleep beside her (literally the only girl he's actually slept beside) it's so adorable. I don't know if it counts as sex, but it's heavily implied more than once they fucked, but yeah Klaus is without a doubt an animal in bed (he started fucking Hayley in a table and they ended up in his bed, like hello, his quickie with Caroline lasted literally an entire day and Genevieve and Aurora were down bad). Elijah's sex scenes fit his character so well too because dear lord.
But I do wish they recognized certain people aren't having sex but raping persons instead, it upsets me so much how Katherine and Damon both compelled people to not be scared of them in bed and yet the fandom still believes they consented.
And Legacies actually has a few sex scenes, if I'm right. And I think Hope actually killed Landon when they did it for the first time, and I don't mean it in the ironic way...
People will see how Hayley was willing to let Klaus die, probably even wanted it, so Elijah could return to life and to her in season four, how Klaus begged for Cami's life the moment Aurora threatened her yet did nothing while Lucien had his heart in Hayley's heart because his pride was bigger, liteally died for Camille in season two (the only other person he did this for was Hope btw) and they'll still think Klaus and Hayley could have ever been in a romantic relationship.
I'll never get over about how Klaus hallucinated Cami playing with his hair š

LIKE FATHER LIKE DAUGHTERRRRRR
i love hizzie more but these two are adorable
AWWW
Honestly I like hizzie more too but handon was absolutely adorable, I love how happy both Klaus and Hope looked to kiss Cami and Landon.
They deserved so much better
(I think that the reason that Damon and Elena were so popular on the show and so many people wanted that to happen was because it didnāt happen for so long, but it nearly happened so many times. It was teased so much. So, I see the value of drawing something out. But, you ultimately have to give the fans what they want. That canāt be a never-ending process. I didnāt feel like it should have happened sooner, or that something should have happened between them. The last scene I did on The Vampire Diaries was me telling her, āI plan to be your last love.ā) Link
Not Joseph himself believing the klaroline hookup was unnecessary lmao
Perhaps this comes out as klaroline bashing? This is all canon events but lmk if people want this in the anti tag. Anyway, I get it's fanfiction, but I'll never understand why writers make Cami/Hayley straight up bitches - and I hate this word - in klaroline fanfics.
Some people act as if Camille or Hayley actively went out of their way to sabotage Klaus's relationships, which it's just dumb. This man was literally screwing Genevieve, a woman who played a part in Kieran's death and who was nothing but mean to her, yet Cami was still kind and nice to her, and honestly Hayley couldn't have cared less about who Klaus dated (and like, usually writers make Rebekah and Caroline best friends, so it's insane she hates Hayley for the hybrid thing yet absolutely adores Rebekah who was nothing but rude to her).
Camille and Caroline would not hate each other if they met, be for real now. Caroline didn't only show no interest in Klaus, she was aware he slept with the same woman he thought Tyler had been unfaithful with which just proves her more he has close to no respect for her but she also said she never felt herself around him, so why would she ever hate someone who is quite literally the embodiment of kindness because of a man who who always hurt her? Hayley and her had problems of their own, but knowing the personalities of Caroline and Cami they wouldn't hate each other over a guy - Caroline is more likely to slut-shame her if anything, but that's another whole conversation.
Anyway, Cami, Hayley and Caroline have always been too hot for Klaus Mikaelson.
Ok soooo I love your opinions on The Originals and I want it for something I'm writing š«£
Basically, how u think klaus would act if he gets interested in a OC with severe mental illness?? Specifically in my case a schizophrenic
And this will be a insecurity of her in their relationship
Hey! So I believe it depends, truth be told.
As far as I remember, Klaus isn't one to mock someone because of their illness, but we're also talking about Klaus, so I can't be really sure. I don't remember if Klaus actually interacted with someone with a confirmed mental illness aside from Aurora, but we all know he isn't exactly sane anyway.
Of course, if his interest in your ooc is romantic he'll obviously be kind about it, as long as your relationship is klamille and klaurora coded and not klaroline coded, because the one time Caroline actually needed comfort from Klaus he basically told her to go to hell. I think he would try to be supportive, and would specifically learn things about your ooc and her illness to make her as comfortable as possible, to try to not trigger her, and similar.
If this is an insecurity of hers, that would only amplify. Klaus isn't an easy person to love, he's complicated and messy and he's constantly reminded of that by family and people close to him, so he'd jump at any opportunity he has to remind her of his love for her if that insecurity is affecting their relationship or is potentially reason for a break up. I personally believe Klaus would worship the ground his s/o walks on, we all saw how he treated Camille and Aurora when their relationship wasn't rocky.
But if they do happen to get into a nasty fight or a particularly bad breakup, I can see bring him up her illness as a way to "mock" her or to try to belittle her, he kinda did it to Aurora and we all know how hurtful Klaus can be anyway.
Thank you for asking, and for loving my opinions! It's truly sweet from you to say it. Writing ooc's with mental illness is a challenge and I hope nothing I said came out offensive, you all know it's never my intention.
Klaus literally dying for Camille (he let Mikael stake him without knowing he would return to life, hence he thought he would die forever) and saying she's his one and only true romantic connection is so forgotten by this fandom
Why are Klaroline and Klamille fans so affected by this scene? Klaus and Caroline are friends - old friends - and this is all thatās shown here. Ending a letter with āYoursā, is a very common thing, itās not restricted to lovers, nor high levels of intimacy, and it definitely doesnāt mean āliterally yoursā. Caroline is wholly in love with Stefan, Klaus is wholly in love with Camille. Both promised their love for those respective partners would never die. Klaus told Camille she would always be with him, Caroline told Stefan she would remember this moment one hundred years from now. Stefan is embedded in Carolineās heart, Camille is likewise embedded in Klausā heart. After five years of imprisonment it was Camille Klaus was crying out for, NOT Caroline.
For both Klaus and Caroline their flirtation is far in the past. They both moved on, they both found the love of their life. Now, Klaus and Caroline are friends, good friends, old friends, but nothing more. The letter gives a nod towards that, thatās all. āHowever long it takesā has become their little thing, a phrase, enough to bring a smile, maybe some memories, but thatās it. Canāt people see that? Klaroline fans are putting an unrealistic and inconsistent spin on the letter given all thatās happened for both Klaus and Caroline. That was Plecās intention. Itās just a tease.

Do you think if Cami was Elijahās love interest, she would still be called Carolineās clone? Honestly, the only two reasons why I can think of people constantly saying sheās Caroline 2.0 is because sheās Klausās love interest and sheās blonde. But in the show, she is literally nothing like Caroline at all. I see Caroline stans hating on Cami because shes apparently so awful, but then they go on to say sheās a carbon copy of Caroline. So what is it? Is Cami a selfish, awful monster or is she Carolineās clone?
Cami, much like every other female character in TVD, deserves so much better than how the fandom treats her. Sheās not some girl obsessed with Klaus. Sheās not trying to ruin Klausās and Carolineās relationship - in fact, Carolineās not even a thought in her head. All cami wanted to do was live her life and help people.
The way the fandom treats Cami, Bonnie, Elena, Hayley, Aurora, and Davina is so disgusting. This isnāt me saying that Caroline doesnāt receive disgusting comments, but compared to the rest of the cast, sheās often portrayed as a saint and is labeled as ānot like other girlsā.
The fandom calling Cami a copy of Caroline is 100% tied to the fact they're both love interests for Klaus. If Cami hadn't been romantically paired with Klaus, she would have never been as hated as she is.
Is there even a reason to dislike Cami? I'm honestly asking, because I just don't think there is. She didn't do anything wrong, and if you're gonna bring up how she stole the only weapon that could kill the Mikaelson, then I don't care, because Cami never planned to use it against them. She just wanted her dark objects back, but Klaus, of course, had to be Klaus.
People will complain about how she constantly tried to put an end to the violence in her life, but completely changed her mind once she became a vampire because she wanted to kill Aurora. The same Aurora who killed her, terrified her and traumatized her, and to make it worse Klaus couldn't even bother to hurt Aurora back because he still had feelings for her, and Cami knew it. She had every right to be angry, scared, hurt, and vengeful.
However, knowing kalijah stans call Hayley a Katherine copy, I don't think Cami would have it much easier either. This fandom loves to bash women simply because the men in their ships fell for other woman instead of the one they wanted him with. Camille falls in love with Klaus? How dare she, she is Caroline's copy simply because of that, and apparently because they're both blonde too. Hayley loves Elijah? Ugh, Elijah just entertains her because she reminds him of Katherine.
If anything, Camille was more like Jenna. They were both humans who got involved in the supernatural world, two women who just wanted to help people but ended up dying ironically because of Klaus. Honestly, what do Camille and Caroline even have in common? Being blondes and their names starting with "ca"? To summarize it, Camille was a woman, Caroline was a girl. They were in different points of their lives when they met Klaus; one was an adult and the other one was just leaving her adolescence behind.
Thanks for the ask!

How do you think Klausās and Hopeās relationship would be like if he was still alive?
I know that when he died, they had a good relationship - but to me, after everything Hope had went through, I donāt find that really realistic. Honestly, if he had survived, I think Hope would be pretty resentful towards him. He did abandon her for years (he couldāve called, texted, or something but he chose to let Hope believe that he didnāt love her). He put her at risk multiple times so he could see his brother while pretending Hope doesnāt exist and ignoring all her calls. He flirted with Caroline while Hayley was in danger. He made Hope believe that Hayleyās death was all Elijahās fault.
And Iām not trying to deny that growth Klaus had throughout the series. I do think he has changed in some ways. But at the end of the day, heās still Klaus. Heās still controlling, possessive, and manipulative. He still harbors this secret desire to be the loved the most by everyone around him. He was threatened every time Rebekah dated someone he didnāt seem āworthyā. He greatly disliked the fact that Elijah chose to erase his memory and shacked up with some Nazis (mostly because Elijah erased HIM and didnāt love him anymore). He absolutely hated that Marcel fell in love with Rebekah (not because of any normal reasons like Rebekah is his aunt and literally watched him grow up - but because he didnāt love Klaus the most anymore).
I can see him being possessive and monopolizing all of Hopeās time/attention to make up for the years he lost and because he wants her to love him more than anyone else. Which is why I disagree when people say that he would love Lizzie/Josie/Landon/ or any of Hopeās potential love interests. He wouldnāt outright kill them like he he did with Rebekahās lovers (as I said, he did grow throughout the series), but he definitely wouldnāt embrace them into the family with open arms. At best, he would be standoffish. At worst, he would be one of those annoying creepy parents that tell their childās boyfriend/girlfriend āIām the number one person in their life. I loved them first.ā
Honestly Iām trying to think of a time when Klaus actually accepted one of his siblings love interests into the family. Marcel and Hayley donāt count. He literally adopted Marcel as a son. He raised Marcel and brought him into the family before Marcel and Rebekah got into their sick little relationship. He first accepted Hayley (not because of Elijah) but because she was the mother of his child and then because he actually grew to like her. But other than Marcel and Hayley, I donāt think he was ever really that welcoming to any of his siblingsā girlfriends/boyfriends. Maybe Keelin? But did Keelin and Klaus even talk?
So, yeah, Klaus wouldnāt disapprove of Hopeās relationships whether it romantic or platonic. But I donāt think he would encourage it or embrace any of Hopeās friends as family. I do think he would fuss and throw a tantrum if Hope prioritized any of her relationships over him. Wasnāt he jealous of the mere idea of Hope liking Elijah (someone he loves and obviously views a family)?
Honestly, if he was still alive, I donāt think Hope and Klaus would have a good relationship. With her resentment towards him for the years of abandonment and his role in the death of her mother, Hope would probably prioritize her friends/school over her relationship with her dad. And I think Klaus, with his jealousy and controlling tendencies, would have a major issue with Hope prioritizing anything else over him.
If the show had good writing Hope would absolutely resent him at first.
I think a good part of why Hope forgave him in canon in season five was because she was gonna die at first, and then he was the one who would die and she was grieving enough, she had already lost her mother a week ago and I dont think she wanted her father to die having a bad relationship with her. She was in pain, she was vulnerable and she knew she was never gonna see her father again, so she chose to let go from all their issues and just spend their last days together.
But it's just so bad developed. I believe Hope resented Elijah not just because of his "part" in her mother's death, but because of how much Klaus loved him as well. Hope was begging for the attention that Elijah didn't want and yet received every single day just by existing, and even her mother was clearly still hung up on him. How would that make a little girl feel? Imagine you grow up hearing stories about your loving uncle, who continously prioritizes family, only for him to turn around, force himself to forget all of you, leave your mother and your father unable to fully move on with their lives and the moment you finally see him again after almost a decade, he hasn't only "killed" your mother, now he's gonna take your only living parent - the one who had no problem ignoring your existence because he was too busy staring at his brother playing the piano - with him as well.
Hope knew Hayley was still in love with Elijah even years after their breakup, her mother basically asked her in the afterlife to tell her uncle she still loved him, her own father endangered everyone in New Orleans, including herself and her kidnapped mother, just because Elijah broke his heart: he did not care he was driving both of them closer to their deaths, his brother had hurt him and he needed to make everyone around him pay, his own daughter included.
In my opinion, Klausās priorities have always been very obvious:
Klaus himself
Elijah/Hope
Whatever love interest he feels like entertaining at the moment/Rebekah
His other siblings/Marcel = Hayley, in case he's seeing them as family at the moment
And yes, in that order. Klaus didn't know how to parent his child now that Hayley was gone and Elijah dying no matter what, and most importantly, he didn't want to. He only knew what Hope meant to him, not who she was (which, personally, infuriates me. If you're gonna create a show centered around a magical baby who shouldn't even exist in the first place and the insane maniac who happens to be her father, at least make her father get to raise her).
The Originals being centered around Hope was, in my opinion, a big mistake. Her existence wasn't a problem for me (if anything, I would make her first appearance later in the show, season three/four, perhaps), but for a show called The Originals, the Mikaelson sure don't appear a lot. I think that's the biggest problem people have with the show, not the Mikaelson being out of character, which is ironic, in my opinion, considering only klaroline and kalijah stans seem to believe that.
In the universe's canon, I just can't see Hope having a stable relationship with any of her paternal family, her father included, had he lived. I'm not saying they would've been constantly fighting, but I do think it would be a constant fragile line in their relationship where Hope would just try to ignore how much he hurt her during her early life, only for them to get into a fight about it, and then go back to ignore it. If Hayley had lived or been resurrected, I see Klaus and Hope's relationship being kinda the same as what I stated, perhaps slightly more sour, perhaps not, because I certainly see Hayley being mad at Klaus for being so careless with her life.
I personally believe Hayley and Cami wouldn't have allowed anything of what happened to the family in season five, Elijah and Klaus practically switched personalities, all the klayley and klaroline moments were so obviously meant for Camille and her relationship with Klaus, Caroline was absolutely out of character, and everything was very rushed and poorly developed.
Thanks for the ask!

Vs
āhow was ur time with my therapist (ā¦.) because it was a great risk leaving you alone with herā
It's really ironic how klaroline stans will jump to remind people of Klaus not noticing dead Cami in his bed (mind you, while he was sleeping, a status where your sense of smell is reduced, and it's important for me to remark he was hugging her and looking in peace, something we've never seen him do with any other of his other love interests) but completely ignore the way Caroline was right behind him when Elijah snapped her neck.
He saw her lying on the ground, basically gave Elijah a little speech about his family and carried on not caring about her. It's insane.
Of course, TVDU has an history of not caring enough about maintaining vampires abilities, but Klaus very much heard Caroline getting her neck snapped considering they were almost side by side, and he definitely saw her after being confronted by Elijah. But anyway, we all know who really holds the higher value for him.
Anyone who critiques klamille as rushed, random, ooc or undeveloped whilst shipping any other Klaus Mikaelson ship just gets an eye roll from me lmao. Just ship your ship and dont speak on klamille because it is literally the most developed romantic ship Klaus had. The writers actually took their time developing the dynamic. Not to rush to humanize him even if it was out of nowhere, not to lay the groundwork for a spinoff, but to show an actual soulmate connection over time. The fact that stans of those ships with lesser quality &writing even have the nerve to speak on klamilleā¦their antis are so bold and wrong.
I honestly don't understand people who claim to hate Julie Plec but then bring her into everything to prove their arguments correct.
This is the same woman who bullied and treated Kat Graham like hell solely for being black, who is constantly promoting abuse and rape without acknowledging it, a woman who lies through her teeth and continously berates people who aren't white just because she can (who made her main black character stay in Africa completely alone, by the way, while everyone else had love interests or children). This fandom is all about acting like she doesn't exist and hating her (rightfully so) until it comes to their ships.
Why are you acting like the word of a racist should matter? Stop bringing up her corny twitter quotes to defend your abusive ship, because it's embarrassing to see.

Camille was his only exception.
Itās funny how kcers mock forwood by saying they were just about sex when kcs peak was them in the mud with the bugs
and then they mock klamille by saying they had no sex
when in fact several sex scenes were deleted of them to show they werenāt just about that
No, because literally. You expect me to believe a character like Caroline, who basically wants a princess life and is a control freak, would ever enjoy having sex in the woods? At day, where anyone can see them? Where there are bugs, dirt, and who knows what else? Honestly, the Caroline I know would hate getting her clothes ripped off, and I don't even like the girl. And he doesn't even bother giving her his own jacket.
Don't even make me start with klamille. Despite from the obvious fact they did have sex in 3x10, their relationship was deeper than some elegant tryst in the woods, but apparently sex is the biggest declaration of love when it comes to Klaus - let me laugh.
Forwood and klamille were so much deeper than klaroline. Caroline called Tyler the love of her life, twice, and with the timing of everything happening, it looks like she slept with Klaus out of spite, which says everything about how significant they were to her. Clearly, one was so much more important to her.
Cami and klamille antis are just impossible to take seriously because they never have an actual reason as to why they hate her and her relationship with Klaus outside shipping him with someone else.
