Why Moriarty is Still Alive
A Text by Me.
1. blood didn’t splatter when he shots himself, it flowed out of the back of his head.
1a. he was wearing a collared jacket at the time, he could have easily put a blood pack in his collar, which would break when he fell.
1b. he had snipers in the area, he could have not fired a bullet but got the sound from one of his snipers in the area
2. he is just as smart as sherlock, so he probably knew what was going to go down on that roof. he knew what would happen if sherlock knew that snipers were trained on his friends.
3. this is my own theory, that i thought of myself:
on the rooftop moriarty is playing “staying alive” and he says, “staying alive, it’s so boring, isn’t it?” what else do you think is boring. staying dead? what is interesting, though, is making the world think you are dead, but being alive anyways, that sounds like a game moriarty would like to play.

rip BBC Sherlock’s Moriarty, you would’ve loved Chappell Roan.
I'm not a big fan of BBC Sherlock. Like I don't like the writing, at all. BUT... In my mind I rewrote it, same actors, similar plot, exapt there are a few large changes...
-John is Russian, and like... suuper stereotyped Russian, yaknow, heavy accent, vodka.
-Sherlock is sorta just stumbling his way thru things, like the guy has no clue what he's doing, yet somehow he saves the day every time.
-Sherlock has a huuuge man crush on John BUT it's funny because he just insults John as a way of flirting and then gets cussed out. Comedy gold right there.
-Moriarty is a shithead who just keeps showing up, he doesn't die, but he's just reallllyyy annoying.
-Anderson and Donovan are like the only ones who know John is a Russian but Lestrade just thinks John is gay and told everyone else.
-Mycroft is convinced John is a spy, he's not, but it's a whole thing where Mycroft keeps trying to prove it.
Thankyou, pls if anyone wants to add to this utterly genius idea of mine, go ahead.

Okay so I know it’s not great but hear me out… Moriarty has a henchman on the rooftop too, hidden away from Sherlock. Sherlock is too consumed with faking his own death to deduce that they’re not alone. The gun that Moriarty used was either a fake or unusable, and the henchman fires a gun very close by so it sounds like Moriarty’s. Since Jim loves dramatic flair, he knows exactly how to fake a gunshot wound and falls over, activating a pack of fake blood either on the ground or hidden in his suit somewhere. It looks like he is bleeding and dead, but it’s all a show. WHAT ABOUT THE AUTOPSY?! Answer: Molly is a player. Well, not really. She helped Sherlock and is on his side, but there is a reason there wasn’t a gunman on her. Jim obviously knew she was important to Sherlock, he dated Molly. He struck up a deal for her to fake the whole autopsy if he didn’t put her on his kill list. She agrees, knowing that Sherlock will survive and eventually break Jim. Jim escapes the country and creates a new plan over the two years Sherlock destroys his ring. “Did you miss me?”

Jim is teaching Sherlock some Latin.
Just want you guys to know what John wrote in his blog about what happened at the pool... "I was made to walk out into the swimming pool area where, I discovered, Sherlock was waiting. The voice in my ear, which I vaguely recognised, told me to say some stuff - which, I realised, gave the impression that I was behind it all. That I, John Watson, was Moriarty. I could see the look in Sherlock's eyes - a flash of, not anger, but hurt. For a second, he looked like a little, lost child. I should have been horrified that he'd even doubt me for a second but, to be honest, it was so refreshingly human of him. He actually did value our friendship. He did, despite himself, care. Then he saw the explosives on me and he realised what was happening."
Eurus and Moriarty made that plan together 3 years before the fall, so Moriarty knew Sherlock would be alive for it to happen. That he would survive whatever he would put him through. So why did he kill himself and make the fall happen, on impulse? He planted the hitmen after knowing about the plan he made with Eurus, so he knew John and Sherlock would survive so why did he checkmate himself? The name Moriarty means to die is an art, maybe it was for the act of ruining Sherlock. After all, he really devoted his life to destroying Sherlock. Him killing himself closes off some of Sherlocks options so that he has to either save his friends or himself. But if he knew it wasn't going to work, why try? Maybe he wanted Sherlock to suffer with the Reichenbach fall before that plan he and Eurus made were to happen. For his relationship with John to suffer to see if he would still pick John. But how could Moriarty see that if he died, what would the point of that whole plan be? Ruin Sherlock? I think it would make much more sense if Moriarty did live. But Moffat said that his death is confirmed.
