God, I love this movie
So you see, the story is not quite as you were told, and I should know, for I was the one they called āSleeping Beautyā. In the end, my kingdom was united not by a hero or a villain, as legend had predicted, but by one who was both hero and villain. And her name was Maleficent.
Wip - I like the AU concept of Maleficent being Auroras' mother. WIP. I may use a different ref for this scene but keep the same general placement poses, while working on resizing.
The most random of thoughts can suddenly come sometimes. One them being "What if there's a Twist of Maleficent being Princess Aurora s' mother?The King has explaining to do. Wish I had the time to write his, or Disney Sleeping Beauty what if.

1. Okay, someone's attacking the Moors, what else is new? And Maleficent is trying to stop them. Why can't people just leave her alone? I thought we were past all this.

3. Finally! The wedding we've been waiting YEARS for (besides Maleficent and Diaval's hehe!)

Review: Awesome 9/10
Great plot. Itās very original to change the perspective in order to see the story from another point of view. Angelina Jolie really did a great job as Maleficent. I discovered Elle Fanning as Aurora in this movie. All I can say is that she truly is an angel. Adorable.
I love how it shows that love can be something more than a romantic thing between a young man and a young woman, and that this kind of (romantic) love does not always end up well, and that this does not mean that someone canāt live happily ever after.Ā
The aesthetic and the scenes were perfect but maybe there could have been more fairies. The dressing was appropriate for its setting in time and place and very accurate, specially the one Maleficentt wears.Ā
Finally, I love the way it empowers feminism without the necessity of evilizing or putting down the male figure in any way; It portrays feminism as something good on its own.
Canāt wait for the second part.
