Veronica stims a lot when she’s either happy or nervous, sometimes she feels both at the same time and it’s just overdrive
The first time Veronica mentions that she stims, the Heathers are all kinda confused, they had never heard of it before. Veronica tried to explain it but they only half understand.
That is, until one day when they go shopping. Veronica finds a dress that she’s particularly pleased with (nice fabric texture, not too loose, not too tight, fun pattern, and it looks good on her!) and she just:
She gets a good grade on a test and while she’s telling the other Heathers about it at lunch, she starts happy stimming. Some other kids look at her weird and make fun of her, and immediately all three Heathers are just like ‘Oh so you got a problem with her?!’
Only Heathers are allowed to bully fellow Heathers.
Veronica hates large crowds of people, and she despises parties. The only reason she goes is to keep up her reputation. The Heathers make sure at least one of them is with her at all times, and when they can, they leave early and have a movie night to help her relax.
Each Heather carries a different type of fidget in their purse.
Mac carries things that make cool sounds (clicks, pops, all that jazz)
Duke carries texture toys (soft things, smooth things, stuff she can scratch)
Chandler carries anything chewy (Veronica is secretly worried the others will judge her, but she trusts Chandler to just let her be)

(have no idea where this is going or went but ya. Also short and v bad i havent slept in so long)
Sure, JD was freaky. And weird. And absolutely insane. And he may or may not have access to guns and bombs. But Heather doesn't care, all she cares about is Veronica. Veronica, who only wanted to sit next to her, Heather and Heather, but instead she got roped up into this popularity shit. Does Heather feel bad? Maybe, she doesn't quite know how that feels.
But she does now how love feels, and God are women pretty. She's getting off track again, what Heather means is she's falling for Veronica, and JD makes her absolutely livid with that "freeze your brain" shit of his.
Heather realizes Veronica may or may not feel the same when she gets a whiff of drain cleaner in the mug she just handed to Heather.
"Heather, wait" she says quickly, pushing the mug down from her lips before she can take a sip, her fingers brushing against Heather's red lips, which are that color since Heather can never remember to take her makeup off when she gets drunk.
"What's your damage, Ronnie?" Heather asks.

"She's dead, Veronica, she's not coming back" JD had said. He says that so often, always in this stupid calming tone - as if he wasn't the one who gave Veronica that mug in the first place. He knew, why didn't he stop her? Why didn't Veronica notice? Of course she blames herself. She's hardly spoken ever since.
JD puts a hand on her shoulder, one she wants to recoil away from. She hates it. "Ronnie, why are you acting like this?" He asks. That's when Veronica actually does shove him off, standing up and stepping back. "You don't get to call me that!" She says angrily. Nobody does. That night at the party changed everything, the night where her and Heather Chandler didn't hate each other for once. You can fill in the blanks however you want, but either way, Veronica was hopeless. Pitiful, even. Fate served her no mercy.
Before Heather died, she looked at Veronica as if there was..something there. And there might have been, if Veronica hadn't given her the 'hangover cure'. But fate served her no mercy, and she's dead.
Fate serves nobody mercy, nobody deserves mercy in its eyes. Everybody dies, Heather just too soon.
Far too soon.

What if Sirius was Heather Chandler (the "my best friend and my worst enemy thing"), James was Duke (idk how to explain it, just think ab it) and Remus was Mcnamara (usually portrayed as befriending reg)

Veronica's actions mimicking Heather is really interesting. Because yeah it's showing that she's becoming more and more like Heather but also because Veronica moves first.
Their movements weren't fully synchronized, Veronica would fold her arms and Heather would copy her. Because yes, Veronica is becoming like Heather was, but she hasn't picked up on it, it was Martha who would've seen it, and of course Heather did too. Heather was mocking her, proving she had become just like what she once hated. Her "let me sit at your table just once, no talking necessary" had turned her into the same person but worse.
Heather never thought she was a good person. She knew who she was, she knew what she did but she was proud of it. Veronica didn't notice (and she never really did, it ended with her blaming JD for everything) and always believed she was a good person. She thought she was better than Heather and much better than JD but that way of thinking was what made her just like them. Heather mimics Veronica's movements because she can see what Veronica is like, because she could always see what she was like.
And Martha would notice too. She may not be able to see the ghosts but she was looking right where she was standing and I think that shows how she was seeing Heather in that moment, instead of Veronica (especially considering Heather stood directly inbetween them multiple times). This wasn't her best friend, this wasn't the girl who was always supportive for her. This was the girl who had helped her bully, the girl who tricked her into thinking Ram loved her.
You can see her trying to look around Heather but then Veronica starts acting just like Heather, and Heather stands directly next to her, if she was physically there Martha would be looking right at her.
And lastly, Veronica moving first shows her being worse than Heather. This isn't her copying her to fit in, this is her covering up murdering three people. And it isn't just to protect JD, she doesn't want to get in trouble either. Heather is mean, and she isn't a good person but neither is Veronica and this scene and a few others really highlight that she is not any better than the people she kills.
This is showing the effect of Veronica's actions and showing what she did to Heather as well as Heather's effect on Veronica.
