Not gonna lie but Cooper and Lucy reminds me of 'I I Can Do Without You' Song by Doris Day and Howard Keel from Calamity Jane especially because it’s a musical western.

I genuinely think a lot of modern media fans, not just in the Fallout fandom, would benefit from letting themselves write and read fanfiction.

Stop. Listen to me. Look me in the eyes. “Canon” isn’t real. I’m completely serious. It’s whatever you want it to be. This franchise is rooted in games where you literally choose what ending you want based on your actions. Please, please for the love of god tell me that this whole time some of you have not been deciding that in games with multiple endings there is actually one “real” ending and all the others are “not canon.” If you really want my opinion half the fun of this whole series is that EVERY SEQUENCE OF EVENTS IS EQUALLY “VALID.” It’s time to kill the Todd Howard in your head and realize that literally no one is stopping you from choosing what to believe is part of this series. Incorporate every game, including the ones that never got made and only exist as details on the wiki. Or don’t. Decide that only the first two games and New Vegas are real and pretend 3 & 4 don’t exist. Create a new timeline in your head where EVERYTHING happens BUT Fallout 3 and yet Fallout 4 still fucking happens. Incorporate the fan theories you like and disregard the ones you don’t. Add your headcanons. Just MAKE SHIT UP. It doesn’t fucking matter! And that’s beautiful!!!! War never changes but goddamn canon sure will, but only if you believe!!

My dream for Season 2 of Fallout is a musical episode with 4-6 original songs, especially since New Vegas opens up a location like The Tops or characters akin to the lonesome drifter that would really compliment that format. A lot of popular 30s - 50s songs are either showtunes (such as Fallout staple Anything Goes) or showtune adjacent in sound, so it wouldn't be out of place. Also shamelessly committing to having the characters sing and then never acknowledging it again would be very Wild Wasteland of them.
If I had a nickel for every time there was an honestly really good darkly comedic show starring a young, naive woman who learns about the darkness of the world but doesn’t let it change her, her loser boyfriend who’s desperate to feel some control in the world, which also featured a manipulative, chaotic, charming, awesome man with an accent and featured a scene where someone reluctantly cuts a dead guys body part off, that’s really a satire about corporate greed by fucking AMAZON, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice.
Y’know what, gamers, I’m confiscating your prestige tv adaptations until you learn how to behave like respectful people with basic human decency towards female, queer, and poc characters and even more so their actors
If Maximus from the Fallout show was white or asian, he'd be a Tumblr Sexyman or "Himbo" by now and you all know it.

another approachable first edit would be going to any talk page on something you're interested in & requesting information or visuals you didn't see on the page, or identifying room for improvement. like whatever you can think of. sincerely expressing what new content you'd be interested in as a fallout fan is a useful contribution to the community & will inform the culture of the wiki. you can request whatever you'd like to see! if your suggestion goes unaddressed you can mention it to me on my talk page and i'll do my best.
you can also just do your best & make any non-destructive change you want. sincerely go nuts. you might get revised or questioned at first but you will still have an immediate impact. as long as you're trying to help & can roll with peer review, then yall will make the place a lot better just by speaking up and/or hanging out a little
i decided the pages for puppet man and the moth cult should be gonzo and fun, and i made it so. i wanted to acknowledge that indigenous fans sometimes claim Benny so i did. i created the disability rep page without asking anyone & it's a 10k word community project. i added a section about christianity to the CoA page because i had a bunch of stuff to observe. sometimes when people delete one of my sentences i clarify with a sourced essay.
this place has changed rapidly. if you observe something true and interesting about the world or history of Fallout, people will want to hear it, and there's probably a way to communicate your observation on the page. Fallout belongs to fans & it's called lore for a reason. just be yourself, and have fun!🚀🚀🚀🚀
