Okay I can’t find any videos of it but there was this Steven Universe thing on NPR. Rebecca Sugar referred to how the gems found joy in the simplicity of human life as a ‘reverse escapism’

-PINK PEARL = WHITE PEARL AND OUR PEARL IS OG WHITE PEARL???
-Pink Pearl was definitely ‘defective’
-Yellow Diamond’s neck hath reached its full potential
-spongebob reference followed by a sex joke
-I hope that at the end of the series, when all the gems are freed or whatever,Blue and Yellow Pearl start their own clothing line
-That moment with White Pearl genuinely caught me off guard and made me laugh so much. I love how the music just cuts out as Steven *family friendly* curses to himself
-The music from the promo’s is also the ballroom music for homeworld
-Steven, Connie, what the actual fuck
-You are in front of 2 galactic dictators, the servant of one of possibly the most powerful entity in the universe, and all of the homeworld courts. And you decide that then is the best time to dance with each other
-I guess all cross gem fusion to homeworld is gay marriage to a traditional Christian family
-“homosexuality is just a cheap tactic to make straight gems gayer”
-New fusion!!
-Literally nothing happened last episode but when something actually happens the episode just ends. Wow, thanks

In the trailer for Battle of heart and mind, the last shot shows White Diamond opening her eyes and her power, aura, whatever streaming out And Pink Diamond/Rose Quartz resurrected people by crying on them
So one of Pink’s powers are tears that give life
and White’s supposed power is tear that bring death
Just sayin’
Also blue diamond has her power of depression and Yellow diamond has electric powers
Electric is super effective on water
Tears ARE water

Long time, no Jade. So since there’s official Jades in the show, I figured I’d do a more canon looking Jade--with both her original palette and a morre canon one! I dunno if she’d be closer to these Jades or to a Nephrite, so eh, here ya go. Lemme know which palette is better!
