YAY! I am done with the show Shameless!
My thoughts below the cut:
It was an overall basic show! I loved every episode, either I am giggling, being empathic or just simply enjoying the show! I hate they didn't bring back Fiona's character...that would've been sweet ngl!
Other than that, I'll give this show 10/10! The finale as well...those words were touching!

The fact that im so sucked into Shameless (U.S version) that when Ian and Mickey broke up i actually felt like a piece of me was missing and i sat on my bathroom floor in kinda this depressive state \_•~•_/

I've given it some thought and I have decided. Since it affects nothing and no one, I am thence going to believe that Mickey's gay awakening was Chuck Norris. Because:
1) He is a redhead, which we already know is Mickey's type
2) He is masculine and macho, which, again, kind of Mickey's type
3) In season 3 we learn that he has a crush on Van Damme, so action movie protagonist coded dudes work for him
And most importantly
4) I find it funny
I don't recall it being mentioned on the show, but what do you think young Ian's, Mickey's and Debbie's gay awakening would be?
well, ian’s awakening was mentioned twice, and it was justin timberlake (which i find to be hilarious). it’s one of those things where the writers can’t keep the character’s ages straight but they can remember shit like young ian’s justin timberlake obsession. i imagine that fiona was into nsync as a teenager, and that subsequently made ian kind of a fan of nsync also😭 i wholeheartedly believe that in that magazine we saw lip find in season 1 were pictures of justin timberlake.
mickey is a little harder because i genuinely do not know. it would be super cute if his awakening had been ian when they were kids (threatening to stab ian because the poor kid asked for a pencil back in the third grade), but i feel like the fact that he didn’t remember ian playing little league with him makes me rule that out. if anything, the awakening in question wasn’t really him being like “holy shit i like dick” it was more that he had seen his brothers with girls and had tried being with girls, but he never felt anything. we know that something happened with him and karen, and how could we forget about angie zago? he probably just tried to have sex with girls and realized he didn’t really get anything out of it, but he refused to admit he was gay, so he acted like he just thought love was stupid (i remember he used to have a poster that said something like “fuck love” back in season 1).
with debbie, we technically witnessed her “gay awakening”, except you couldn’t pay me enough to say that alexandra was debbie’s gay awakening. no fucking way. my personal belief is that holly herkimer was debbie’s gay awakening. you know, her friend on-and-off for the first five seasons? holly wasn’t great, she was a bad influence and ultimately fucked debbie up even more- but i still believe that debbie had a crush on her. debbie was mesmerized by holly, desperately wanted holly’s approval and attention, and basically did whatever she told her to. i just feel like there was more than just admiration there, holly was her first crush. but much like mickey, there were little signs like her deteste for porn (canon) and confusion surrounding liking boys.

Description: Y/N is ready to beat someones ass to protect her little sister Debbie.
Warnings: Cussing.
The summer breeze was flowing through the house, people scattered all over. Y/N Gallagher herself was sitting at the counter looking at some bills and deciding which one to pay first.
The front door flew open and slammed shut. Y/N looked up to see who it was, but the person had already stomped up the stairs and slammed another door. She picked up the bill and the cash she had set out and walked out into the living room.
"Carl who was that?"
"Don't know."
Y/N rolled her eyes at her younger brother.
"Well can you keep an eye on them while I go find out please?" She gestures to the children sitting around the room.
"Sure."
Y/N makes her way upstairs and immediately spots her door, that wasn't shut when she was up there 15 minutes before. She walks over and softly knocks on the door.
"Debs? You okay?"
She doesn't get a reply but she hears her sniffles coming through the door. "Debbie, open the door."
Y/N backs away from the door and it pops open. She pushes it in all the way and sees the younger Gallagher sitting on her bed, still in her sundress and bikini, now full on sobbing. She kneels down in front of her sister and grabs her hands.
"Hey, what happened? Did someone hurt you?"
"They humiliated me!"
"Who? What did they do?"
"These girls at the pool. I just wanted to fit in."
"Debbie. What. Did. They. Do."
"They made it look like I had my period. It was just ketchup! Everyone laughed Y/N. Everyone." Debbie continues to sob. Y/N brings her sister into a hug
"Hey, don't let them get to you. You're a Gallagher, we're tough little bastards."
The next morning Fiona walks into the girls' room, but it's empty. So, she walks over to Lip's room, but he says he hasn't seen either of them. The other boys say the same thing. Fiona then walks downstairs into the kitchen where Mickey is drinking Orange Juice from the carton.
"Hey, have you seen Y/N and Debbie?"
"Yeah, left about 30 minutes ago."
"Did they say where they were going?"
"Yeah Y/N said she was going to beat a bitch."
"And you didn't stop her?!"
"No, she looked pissed off. Why the fuck would I get in the middle of that?!"
"Lip! Ian! Get down here we have to go to the pool!" Fiona yells.
Y/N is the nicest Gallagher, but she's scrappy. Especially when it comes to Carl, Debbie or Liam. They are little, they can't protect themselves.
"What the hell is going on?!" Ian asks as he, Lip, and Carl run down the stairs.
"Y/N and Debbie went to the pool."
"Hey, she also took the bat." Mickey nonchalantly adds.
"Oh shit."
Debbie sits on the lounge chair holding the bag as Y/N stands beside her pointing girls out.
"That one?"
"No."
"That one?"
"No."
"That one?"
"Yes."
"Ok. Stay here."
Y/N then proceeds to walk over to the other side of the pool where the girls are standing.
"Hello." Y/N smiles.
"What do you want?" The blonde asks.
"Why do you get off on humiliating pre-teen girls?"
"Excuse you?" The brunette chuckles.
"No. Excuse you." Y/N brings her fist up and clocks her in the face, knocking her down to the ground.
"Hey-!" She then pulls the blondes head down to her knee and knees her in the face. She then proceeds to grab her by the hair and toss her into the pool.
The rest of the Gallagher clan arrives just as Y/N knees the blonde in the face.
"Fuck."
"That's gonna hurt."
"Shit."
