Pros of Inside Out 2: Anxiety was a well-portrayed character and the other original emotions got some character development
Cons of Inside Out 2: We were a little too focused on the Emotions' emotions this time around and the writers might have been trying to ship Sadness (lesbian) with Embarassment I'm not sure

I know ppl joke abt "What would happen if Riley took antianxiety meds? Does Anxiety get beat up?" but tbh I think she just gets teleported to her chair, a weighted blanket materializes on her, and she takes a Fat Nap.

Anxiety mostly regresses to help with overthinking
She enjoys using her paci as a teether
Anxiety doesn’t really have a specific age she regresses down to
Joy and Fear would be her main caregivers, and sometimes Ennui takes care of her too
(Dude it was so hard to find an orange pacifier so I just went with a yellow one)
(it’s fine, it compliments the orange color scheme)
What if…but more
I have more headcanons to share since yesterday soooooooo boom
Anxiety has a hedgehog plush called Prickles, but whenever she talks whilst regressed it sounds more like “Pickles”
She enjoys playing with Fear and his teddy bear
Fear mixes her tea with some honey and milk in a sippy cup, and sometimes makes Angel milk for her too
Joy likes to do paper crafts with Anxiety, and sometimes Sadness joins in too
I also like to imagine Fear also regresses down to middlespace, maybe around 6-10 :)
Could you do some CG Ennui + CH Joy and Little Anxiety HCs? I’m interested to see how the two emotions would clash in taking care of a baby anxiety
(Uhhhhhhhh I’ll figure out how to draw all the Inside Out emotions consistently eventually)

Ennui shows Anxiety how to function the main console from her phone
Ennui doesn’t necessarily mind (or care) whenever she’s taking care of Anxiety, but she at least keeps an eye on her
Anxiety likes to rest on the other side of the couch from Ennui

Despite being the lead of Riley’s emotions, Joy doesn’t naturally know how to parent
Regardless she still tries her best
Joy was the one who gifted the hedgehog plush to Anxiety (reference to my previous agere post lol)
Joy enjoys playing music and dancing with Anxiety whenever she’s little
Unfortunately for the other emotions, Anxiety has memorized the entire Triple Dent gum jingle because of Joy playing it for her
