Netflix Sucks - Tumblr Posts
What pisses me off the most is the fact that Netflix has cited low viewing numbers as one of the main reasons to cancel Lockwood and Co, but might I just point out that the viewing numbers (which were already great) might have been higher if Netflix hadn't developed a reputation for itself by cancelling literally every YA show in recent times. Not to mention the fact that most of the shows produced by Netflix, leave the endings open to another season or on a cliffhanger. As a result, people were quite literally terrified of starting a new show in this genre in the fear of it getting cancelled and just being left with NO conclusion and therefore no fucking closure for the audience. I hope it gets picked up by another network.
Non-Fandom people don’t understand me when I say cancelation of shows ruins my enjoyment of the show and it’s so frustrating
like, yeah I’ve read the books but not knowing the story or the conclusion isn’t the issue!!!
So much of the Lockwood & Co. conversation on tumblr is how annoying it is that the show was canceled which while totally valid is really fucking annoying to read about so often (yes I do realize the irony in saying that in this post)
But more than that, do you understand how much I would give to see edits of Lucy leaving in THB to So Long, London? Or Peter? The absolute angst edits we could have if we were given THB in show form actually kills me
They did such a good job with casting just to throw it all away, and then they complain that people aren’t watching their shows anymore!!!

So netflix seems hell bent on shooting themselves in the foot. First homophobic Dorian grey and now they cancel the gay ghosts??
And yet they still cancel it
Love how L&Co. fans and Shadow and Bone fans collectively came together to hate netflix
