What Pisses Me Off The Most Is The Fact That Netflix Has Cited Low Viewing Numbers As One Of The Main
What pisses me off the most is the fact that Netflix has cited low viewing numbers as one of the main reasons to cancel Lockwood and Co, but might I just point out that the viewing numbers (which were already great) might have been higher if Netflix hadn't developed a reputation for itself by cancelling literally every YA show in recent times. Not to mention the fact that most of the shows produced by Netflix, leave the endings open to another season or on a cliffhanger. As a result, people were quite literally terrified of starting a new show in this genre in the fear of it getting cancelled and just being left with NO conclusion and therefore no fucking closure for the audience. I hope it gets picked up by another network.

Y’all don’t even know how much I need this in my life now…
From the new Lockwood and Co fic I'm working on:
Lucy stumbled out of bed, ready to strangle whoever was repeatedly ringing her bell in the middle of the night. Or very early morning? She wasn’t sure, she hadn’t gotten a clock for her bedside table yet and didn’t know where she had put her watch before falling into bed a few hours ago.
When she opened the door all thoughts of murder vanished as quickly as they had come. It was George and he looked like he had been through hell.
"What happened?" she asked anxiously.
"What happened?!" George yelled, obviously not caring about waking her neighbors. "You happened! We had a case with a fetch today and that thing looked like you for Lockwood! He thought you were dead and went mental. He hugged it, thinking it was your ghost! He wanted to follow you into death!"
Lucy gasped. No! That couldn’t be true. Had her leaving caused what she had wanted to prevent by leaving?
"Is he...?"
She couldn’t say the word out loud.
i wanna try an experiment
reblog for sample size pls thx
Well thanks for just ripping my heart out ig…
@my friends who’ve read the comics, when tf were you gonna tell me???
the Orpheus and Eurydice of it all gets even better when you learn in the comics Edwin spent his time in hell not getting wripped apart but having to walk as he listened for the thing behind him follow, not being able to look back and see what it was
i just walked past the apartment beneath mine and through an open window i could hear my downstairs neighbor crying faintly while the song jolene played in the background and im just like… bitch are you okay…?

(Transcript for those of you with screen readers bcuz I couldn’t figure out how to attach it to the image itself on mobile for some reason)
Person 1:
Chekov's Cat: if you see a cat in the first act, it will probably be relevant later. (example: Alien)
Shrodinger's razor: an unopened box may or may not contain the solution to the story; there's no way to know without opening it. (example: Monk)
Occam's gun: the simplest way to kill off a character is to shoot them. (example: Bambi)
Person 2:
Chekov's Box: If there is a container introduced in the opening act, it will be opened later.
Schrodinger's Gun: Treat every gun as if It's loaded unless you've checked it yourself.
Occar's Cat: If you hear strange noises at night, it's probably a cat.
Person 3:
Chekhov's gun: a narrative principle that states that every element in a story must be necessary, and irrelevant elements should be removed.
Occam's razor: if you have two competing ideas to explain the same phenomenon, you should prefer the simpler one.
Shrodingers cat- a cat in a box with poison that has a 50% chance of breaking, we will not know if the cat is dead or alive until opening the box leaving the cat in a perpetual state of uncertainty
