Is there a term for that one mentor-mentee dynamic where the mentor is a sly, charismatic, eccentric and often secretive person and the mentee hates them with a burning passion but is often caught of guard or even scared by the other's tougher side
Flowerfoot paused at his fathers side studying Aspenstar's inconsistent breaths. He pressed against him only stirring when the soft steps of Brackentail sounded at the entrance,"I can handel this for now... go on ahead, Shatterfang is practicing with Cloverpaw and Leapordpaw right now." The old tabby tom turned and rested his eyes worryingly on his leader.
Flowerfoot paused and touched his nose to his fathers pelt before stepping out onto the ledge, he let out a soft sigh as he looked around the camp before carefully making his way down the slope into the open space. A battle scarred tom sat begrudgingly watching the two apprentices scuffle his stumpy tail twitching as the brothers rolled. Flowerfoot watched his young apprentice, Cloverpaw looked battered and worn as he held down Leapordpaw. The momentary glimpse of joy fluttered on the dark tabbies face before large paws wrapped around his neck and he was dragged downward his muzzle clashing painfully with a loud thump into Leapordpaw's. He stumbled his eyes welling before they widened in shock as his stomach was battered and he was heaved off thumping into the stones.
"Gotta be quicker Cloverpaw. You aren't gonna get win like that." The rumble of Shatterfang rose as he stepped up and nudged Leapordpaw as he rose. Flowerfoot lept down worried as his apprentice staggered up panting,"We will be taking a break."
"What?" The upset crack of Leapordpaw sounded behind him.
"Yeah it was gonna be fine, we where just starting Flowerfoot." Shatterfang added the irritation rough in his voice.
Flowerfoot nudged the smaller brown tabby up and shot a look through narrowed hazel eyes at the two toms behind him,"Fine, you can continue alone, he is my apprentice and I choose when he trains." He lifted himself and flicked his tail dismissing Cloverpaw.
Shatterfang grunted and shoved past him,"Fine, Leapordpaw show me your attack."
The gray tabby sighed and shook out his thick pelt glancing around for Cloverpaw and recignizing his smaller form by The Stream and plodded over. He set himself beside him and bent down to drink.
"Flowerfoot I'm sorry."
He froze the water lapping at his nose and he straitened up,"What?" He quieted himself as he tried to look at the young tom though he faced away.
"I'm sorry." Cloverpaw's voice hitched and his body began to shake,"I'm sorry you're stuck with me as an apprentice, I'm weak... I-I can't do anything, we go out to hunt and I scare even the deafest of mice away... we train and I lose.. I'm sorry I'm not like Cliffrunner or Leapordpaw..."
The painful hick in his voice clung to Flowerfoot's heart as he wrapped his tail around his smaller frame,"Cloverpaw.." he paused thinking,"Let me see your paw." He said softly.
"What?"
"Trust me," Cloverpaw hesitated before lifting his paw and sniffling, Flowerfoot did the same,"What do you notice?" He asked softly.
Cloverpaw narrowed his eyes thinking as tears rolled down his cheeks confusion glittering in his sad emerald eyes,"Your paw is.... bigger...?" He looked up nervously.
Flowerfoot nodded,"Yes, that's because I'm still moons older than you, I have had more training than you, I've had to learn and grow the same as you." He looked down at their paws his larger gray paw looked huge in comparison to Cloverpaw's younger smaller brown and cream paw," You've only just become an apprentice... I don't expect you to know how to hunt or fight after a few sunrises of walking the length of our territory. You are right about not being your brother..." Cloverpaw's eyes darkened,"He thinks strength makes a warrior great... your heart is strong Cloverpaw, and it wills you to work hard and I know you will, your blood and your claws don't make you a great warrior, your mind and heart do." He pressed his nose into his forehead and felt Cloverpaw press back against him.
"What use am I to a Clan if I can't protect it.." He whimpered sadly.
Flowerfoot smiled,"Thats why you are an apprentice so I can teach you how!" He lifted a paw and tapped Cloverpaws head and chuckled,"Like I said I don't expect you to be StarClan's Leader just off of milk!" He smiled at he sound of Cloverpaw laughing.
Flowerfoot's gaze softened,"You know... you remind me of Brokenear." The memories of his old friend flashed through his mind as Cloverpaw looked up his green eyes matching his fathers hope flittering his gaze as he brightened. Flowerfoot shook the memories away and smiled standing his tail still drapped across his shoulders,"C'mon we can go see if the geese have flown back in." Cloverpaw stood a smile growning on his muzzle as he walked along beside his Mentor,"That sounds nice."
Flowerfoot looked up meeting the gaze of Aspenstar as he smiled, he watched his father roll over onto his back happily. Flowerfoot grinned back and walked along the excited Cloverpaw to The Caves entrance.

Mentor:
We often in our lives lament actions not taken and things done that were off-center of our true being. The truth of the matter is these pains we carry all too readily can be surrendered and imparted as wisdom to others. Whether one is in such a role of a mentor or not by becoming the mindful teacher to others with their permission. You can yield noble guidance for those who act on such truths. When you the teacher are redeemed in regards to your former pain of speculated lost years. Where your pain is transformed into a solid grace that is tangible in your mind's eye and especially your heart of hearts. By aiding another to fulfill their life story in such a way to save them from themselves. For what is saved on Earth is also saved in Heaven instantly where a union or a bond on the soul level becomes transfixed. The mentor and the willing pupil are both reclaimed by a holy kinship that can last a lifetime. Amen.

From the beginning we see Mk very touchy with his friends and they are touchy with him. Mei grabs him, picks him up, hugs him and leans into him with an easy familiarity that he hardly even seems to notice. Throughout the show we see the easy contact he has with his friends and the way he connects with them through touch. Touch almost doesn’t appear to be something Mk really registers to start out with. It’s just something that happens with friends and he accepts that readily and doesn’t even think about. It’s just another way of talking and connecting and it seems to be a rather big part of how he connects with people.
Right off the bat, it’s established that Monkey King is a very touchy person as well. We start off the first meeting with his tail around Mk’s waist, picking him up, putting his hands on his shoulders to encourage him and he doesn’t seem to be all that bothered by Mk when he’s literally climbing him to poke his face. He even climbed on Mk’s shoulders and grooms his hair a bit during Bad Weather like its the most normal and naturally thing in the world.
Their first bit of time really training together we start off with Monkey King dodging weaving and then quite literally throwing Mk into a mountain.
Mk’s startled of course, screams the whole way down, but never once does he look hurt.

I have been writing the backstory to Maisey Firebrand's mentor, Sistress Draveanna, of The Order of The Divine-Futa. She was pretty enigmatic in the old campaign and may well have been a demon or dragon in disguise working her own agenda. Late in life she traveled in Europe several times before her death from heart disease on May 12, 1913.

SHE COMPLETED HER FORMAL EDUCATION AT THE UTICA FEMALE SEMINARY, KNOWN AS MISS KELLY'S, WHICH EMPHASISED TEACHER TRAINING. THERE, FROM 1848 TO 1850, SUE EXCELLED IN MATHEMATICS, SO MUCH SO THAT ONE INSTRUCTOR, A YALE MAN, TOLD HER THAT SHE OUGHT TO GO TO YALE COLLEGE.
SUE WENT TO MARYLAND AND IT WAS ACTUALLY TO TEACH MATHS. So Susan teaches mathematics at Robert Archer's school in Baltimore, Maryland. (1851-1852) WITH THIS SHE ALSO WANTED TO GAIN HER LIFE BY HER OWN. (not only to be a governess as in the show: to be a math teacher!)

At least once she offered constructive criticism and advice, she was her mentor; Emily only changed her poems under the opinion and tips of Sue: Emily only sent her poems drafts to Sue, for this reason: Because SUE WAS HER MUSE BUT ALSO HER MENTOR! (Like "Safe in their alabaster chambers", "I am not suited / dear Emily", "Never mind Emily - to-morrow"...(etc)). THAT'S TRULY ICONIC! Susan’s friendship helped expand the poet’s horizons, and their sharing of books and ideas was a vital component of her intellectual life. And in other hand, also Higginson was other obstacle..because he tried to convince Sue to make a different edition about Emily's poetry! And Sue rejected it because the edition that he wanted to do didn't make justice to Emily: 'cause he wanted to erase the context of the poems and make changes on them..so finally Mabel Todd with Higginson made their own edition(erasing Sue of Emily's poetry, erasing the context of her poems and they also changed the metric..) while Sue, despite this, continued fighting for make her own edition, fighting for keep the Emily's legacy safe, showing the real Emily editing the poems by herself one by one..until the last moment of her life(1913), and this mission was so important to her so her daughter Martha continued with it when Sue's died (1914 that edition come to the world), so thanks to this, with Sue's editing, much of Emily's poetry is preserved with her real essence. Yas! SUE WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO SPENT THE REST OF HER LIFE TRYING TO COMPILE EMILY'S POEMS IN A WAY THAT SHOWED THE REAL EMILY. THE EMILY THAT SUE KNEW. > When Sue had to marry Austin, Sue was in deep pain and fear for the wedding and the relationships with Austin.. But Emily and Sue were their own support for each other in that hard time: they were fighting for their relationship even with the marriage in middle: They were fighting with Austin because he knew their relationship, and that marriage was the only way to stay together so they were fighting against Austin for a pact of 3 and for a white marriage! At the end the engagamemt was done but Sue fell very sick for It, she was so scared so the weeding was made 3 years later. She had to be so strong and Brave doing that because she knew that Austin was a bad man but her only opportunity to be with the love of her life was that..so It was the sacrifice. And of course Austin broke the White marriage and the pact of 3 (We know what it means and what it implies) so Sue had 3 baby: Ned, Martha and Gib. But at least with this marriage Emily and Sue managed to be together and live their love.
>She was born on December 19, 1830 and she was the youngest of six children. Her mother died when she was 7 and her father when she was 11, so she became orphan at age of eleven. She went through a lot of loss during her whole life, she saw all her family died, her fathers, brothers, sisters, sons, the love of her life.. but she always carried on.
A remarkable death was on 1883.. she had to see her little baby son die, with only eight years, little Gilbert. (Thomas Gilbert(Gib) Dickinson). This death changed the Sue's life and Emily's life too, it was so hard, both went into seclusion ( from here is known that the health of Emily was downing). And Emily died on 1886, so she had to live 27 years without the love of her life. And on 1898 her other son, Edward(Ned) died too. Sue also saw die Lavinia and Austin. Sue Gilbert died on 1913, 12 May.

Susan wrote the poet’s remarkable obituary, which appeared in the Springfield Republican on May 18, 1886. *Sue also dressed Emily on her deathbed, making her lie in a white coffin, with orchids and violets (symbol of loyalty) around her neck and two heliotropes (symbol of devotion) in her hand. This last act on Emily's body underlines shows "the deep love they felt for each other", "their shared life, their deep and complex intimacy" and that they both expected a "resurrection after death" of said intimacy.*
The fact that Emily Dickinson died before Sue Gilbert and she not only lost a lover but also a best friend & felt completely alone for 27 years, kept missing Emily is just making me so sad: Sue really spent 27 years without Emily and i would literally sell my soul to read her poems and letters on how she misses Emily and everything they had, it's really unfair. I still crying whenever i remember that ALL of the correspondences Sue has ever sent to Emily was burned as soon as Emily passed away...💔 So Sue was such an incredible woman, she dealt with so much grief and loss throughout her life and was stuck in an unhappy marriage for decades, she lived for 27 years after the death of Emily the love of her life. Sue was so incredibly strong and such an inspiring woman. A truly unsung hero, an inspiration, a Queen! And after all this time I truly know that she is finally happy wherever she is seeing how her legacy is taking place!! And with Emily in their marriage afterlife!Sue Forevermore!
