“My kid self was reading a fairytale,

So she asked her mom,
'Why do we want to live in peace?',
She asked her dad,
'Why isn't violence the answer?',
Her mom thought she was getting psychotic,
Her dad thought that she saw an angsty movie,
So, before sleeping, she came to me,
Asked me, 'Why is peace the only option?',
And I said, 'Because honey, horror is a dangerous emotion,
It leaves brutal scars and damned faiths,
It leaves you vulnerable and assaults your daydream'
She looked at me with her chestnut eyes,
And asked again,'Where do we get peace?',
I looked into her eyes,
Young but went through enough,
Vulnerable but knew just enough,
I said, 'We hide in the darkness,
Because if you are in the light,
Dark shadows follow you,
No one will disturb you in the dark,
Fireflies from between the grass blades,
Stars from behind the sky's veils,
We light ourselves up,
The world knows us by what we do,
And not by what we are called',
She looked at me again,
I knew she had questions prepared,
'Does the world not deserve me?', she asked,
Her voice thick with something only I know,
'No hun, the world deserves you, just not what you give', is what I said her,
I don't know what she understood,
But she went under her bed,
Got a treasure chest out,
And handed over to me,
'Open it when you reach that dark world of yours', she instructed,
I smiled and took it,
Starting to sneak out of her bedroom,
Into the dark night,
And I opened it with all curiosity,
She had given me her chest of memories,
The neon glowing celestials on her ceiling,
Barbie dolls and stuffed toys lined on her shelf,
Certain paintings and celebrated birthdays,
Rhythm that made her dance and set her free,
I smiled to myself,
It was so thoughtful of her,
I wished I had wished her good luck,
Because the world is not easy,
I felt my shadow start walking behind me,
Reminding me I had to walk to the dark world,
I had questions now,
The journey left me in confusions,
And I saw an older girl sitting by the footpath,
I walked to her,
'Long time no see',
Was what she said to me.”
It's not about love. It's about loving, the ability to be able to love constantly, frequently, regularly. It's about the quality you put into the action. I know you are capable of love, but are you able to loving? Love is primordial. It exits before you do, it is happening now as we read this, somewhere in many ways and colours. It's not about love, it's about how willing, how ready you are to act on loving. Think less of love as a noun and more as a verb and the answer will come to the tip of your tongue.

In "On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous" Ocean tells how in Vietnamese the word for missing someone and remembering someone is same...So when his mother asked if he misses her, he flinched thinking she said "Do you remember me?"
I was just sitting and thinking about my own mother tongue. In Hindi too, the word for missing and remembering is the same "याद" (Yaad) the only difference is the change of verb and sentence formation and that's how we know if the speaker is talking about missing someone or remembering someone; "मुझे तुम्हारी याद आ रही है।" (literally meaning 'Your memory/remembrance is coming to me') "मैं तुम्हे याद कर रहा हूँ।" But the sentence is always talking about remembrance. Now that I see, there is no literal translation for "I miss you" because we don't have the word for "missing" someone, all we ever do is remember them and with the memories, they are never 'missing' they are with us through that remembrance. It's like saying "I am not sad thinking about how you are not here anymore but rather I'm remembering the times you were here and I wish things were the same." It makes sense how the word "याद" also refers to 'memories'. To say "I miss you" in Hindi is to say "Now that I feel your absence, your memories are coming to me, you are coming to me, I am remembering to remember you."
Hey. All you authors, and RPers and people who just like daydreaming awesome stories. What's your favorite trope to play straight? Subvert? Avert/invert/lampshade hang? Least favorite? Personally, I love "Properly Paranoid" more than I thought I would. Making a character who grabs a shotgun and ten cans of spray cheese, and having them run so far past "Crazy" they end up right back in "Sane" is delightful. It's funny to imagine what's going on in other character's minds when Nerr gets that candle over her head and says Azura needs to know about her sex life if she's going to be part of a convincing threesome, and then three weeks later, Iago is pressing Gunther for verification that they really ARE a threesome. I like inverting "Beauty Never Tarnishes" because it sure as hell should and also, what idiot decided scars aren't attractive. Ask me to believe that a character can swing a sword as long and wide as they are with one hand, sure. Ask me to believe that that same character gets slashed with another sword and only has a neat, pretty line to show for it, you're tripping. If you're hit with fire spells and you have low resistance, your skin should blister and peel off. I don't get understand in games with any kind of fighting, especially elemental magic. Like, if I see a delicate looking healer covered in skin grafts who still marches out on the battlefield because permanant nerve damage isn't going to stop HER from taking care of her party members, she is instantly my most favorite character to have ever existed.

After pulling off all night I wanted to meet Taeyong, hoping that Taeyong will be home, I tried calling him since yesterday but he didn’t even pick up. He’s partially avoiding me four to five months. He rarely asks for a meet up. Who will say we are together and it already three years? I thought to meet him directly and ask him what’s going on. I didn’t want to doubt him but when my bestfriend Daniel said he saw Taeyong with a girl in the bar frequently, they drink and get wasted. I was ignoring it by thinking it must be any colleague I will definitely believe my bestfriend over Taeyong. We are bestfriend for 12 years already. If Taeyong had a problem, he should come over and say.

((So more people are in the know about my obscure little nerds here, I decided to post some post-fight dialogue for Gemini Spark IF, too. ….This of course meant I had to go fight them again. ._. But it wasn’t a huge hassle. …White IF is so eerily silent when he’s deleted, I’m not sure how to feel.
And Geo still thinks he’s Pat, aaahh ;-; Fun fact, Gemini Spark IF is the only IF boss to keep their original’s personality, so I could see his confusion.
Omega-Xis gets things back on track, though, so that’s good. I never paid much mind to this section of the game, but now it outright fascinates me. I’m even starting to write some headcanons and such for these guys. The pre-fight dialogue can be found —> here.))
Ok, Tenkai Knights question time! how could this statue help the knights in episode: Valley of Secrets, to open the door for the dragon cube? When, as it was said by Roberto -the boy with the purple hair that boys ask to join their basketball group- that “it been here forever...” possibly meaning that -whatever that statue is or represents- it was some hidden lock code for the knights to find on earth that should even be on earth at all if the two planets are just that: two planets that have their own histories and completely separate from each other.

okay but imagine just being an iterator, being confined to your room for a millenia, safe but bored, always in the sidelines. Tethered to a cage that is necessary for your survival. Nothing much more than an overseer or watcher. But then, you're not that anymore, you're not in that place. You can move beyond, you can see creatures you could've only seen far away, locked behind screens. And now they're right in front of you. And it's terrifying. This whole world is terrifying. Everything skulking in the sidelines just as you did or trying to rip and tear anything they come across. And you are across them. Not only do you have the power to crush those that defy you, you thrive in it, survive off of it. Every step is filled with fear and freedom, every second is the balance between your liberty to do anything anywhere and your oppression of horrid creatures trying to take you and whatever is yours. I can't remember where but there was this one youtube video where someone analized F-Zero's world and mentioned this balance of "freedom and danger" and I guess the kind of situation the iterator would be put through made me think of that.
