An extract from a poem I wrote which I dedicate to Wolfstar.
Remus' POV after The Prank:
"I hated that you could paint me black and blue in shades mixed with misery and the grieving of something that was either dead or never alive at all.
I hated that I'd let you"
I met my soulmate when I met you , you didn't.

A/n : assuming sirius and Remus didn't die
The news were flying in daily prophet
" Remus Lupin and nymphadora tonks , soon to be married "
Joy and celebration lingered in thin air , care about dark lord on the rise was forgotten for a few moments , days even to not ruin the only Joyous occasion they could conquer .
But this didn't make up for the loss of james and Lily . They were all very young when they all met each other , Remus , sirius , james , Lily and Peter . Although today Lily and James weren't alive to be with Remus but Remus had accepted that fate and was happy to at least have sirius to be his best man .
Remus was the happiest he had ever been in days , he was finally marrying someone who he loved and adored and who accepted him for who he was and his flaws and there was nothing more he wanted in this world . And as for sirius , he was happy for Remus and tonks . They had found each other and there was nothing more he wanted in his life , for Remus to have his happy ending, someone he could grow old with .
This happened right on the night before their wedding when Remus and sirius were tipsy sat on a roof and looked up at the stars.
" Sad isn't it ?" Remus suddenly said
" What is ?"
" James and Lily aren't here " Remus said . Sirius nodded whispering indeed.
Remus and sirius were quite for a while until Remus broke the silence
" You know I always thought you would end up with someone nice . I mean you could have had anyone you wanted , why didn't you ?" Remus had found himself questioning this a lot .
" Not anyone " sirius smiled sadly . Remus looked at him
" So you're saying you met someone but they didn't want you . That's bollocks , who could be this thick and not want you " Remus snapped . Sirius chuckled.
" I guess I never told them "
" Why didn't you ?" Remus asked
" Because it would've ruined everything " Sirius replied lowly and took a sip of his drink again . Remus looked at him carefully for a moment before asking who was it . Sirius kept refusing to answer him until Remus almost threatened him
" I'm your best friend , how can you not ? I mean I might even try to lure them for you " sirius chuckled .
" It doesn't matter , he's marrying someone else " sirius slipped . He didn't wanted to but he just did . As soon as he realised what he did , his eyes widened with realisation and stood up abrupt. Remus stood up right after him and held him from walking away.
" Sirius "
" Is -i- is it me ?" Remus asked cautiously .
Sirius looked at him with glassy eyes . He didn't wanted to tell him but it was too late . He nodded . Remus held his hand for a few moments longer before sirius spoke
"How long ? "
" Since we were young, always thought you knew "
It hurt Remus to look at sirius so broken . How could Sirius never told Remus about it , he asked
" You were already into tonks when I returned from azkaban . I couldn't just do it " he whispered .
" But you know I'm very happy for you . So what if I didn't find my happy ending , you did and that's all I care about " sirius said with the most painful smile Remus had ever looked at. Remus felt tears drop from his eyes. He had to do something , just something he thought So he kissed him , sirius was taken a back but soon kissed him back with same affection like he had always wanted to .
But then next day he watched him marrying tonks and he only whispered in his head
" I met my soulmate when I met you , you didn't "
" I wasn't his soulmate " Sirius kept whispering to himself until the words no longer made any sense .
Even though lupus and orion stars were crossed the night they kissed . They were star crossed lovers but , maybe not in this lifetime or if fate had already been written then one day they will find a way back to each other and sirius would still be there , waiting for his happy ending .

Sirius :* smiling * hey Andromeda , meet my boyfriend Remus , the one I've been talking about
Andromeda : *smiles* I like you but if you break his heart , I'll break you in half
Remus : * nervously laughs *
SOME YEARS LATER
Nymphadora : hey mom meet my boyfriend , Remus
Andromeda : * stares softly*
Remus : * smiles* it's nice to meet you
Andromeda : good to meet you too, Remus
Now imagine the look in Andromeda's eyes when nymphadora must've introduced Remus. Just imagine the sadness in her eyes . Just imagine the heart break . Just imagine what must've went through her mind at that moment . Just imagine.
Imagine after the Battle in the Department of Mysteries, Remus goes through Sirius’s things. The things he had locked away after halloween and had never gotten the chance to open with Sirius. He rummages through them finding birthday cards and presents from their years at Hogwarts. Expired tubes of eyeliner that he used to help Sirius put on. Sirius’s leather jacket worn out and faded. Postcards exchanged over the years. Photographs of them running through the halls of Hogwarts laughing. Rings they made for each other. Each item that Remus looks at brings back a memory. A memory he had tried so hard to forget.
As Remus looks at the rings he remembers the promise Sirius made to him all those years back, when he slipped the ring onto his finger. “One day, when all this is over, I’ll marry you. And we’ll have a nice cottage in the woods somewhere nice and quiet where you can hear the birds and the wind.” Remus had laughed and said, “And what about James, Peter and Lily?” “They‘ll live close by in their own cottage. In our’s it’ll be us. All day and all night. Just you and me, my love.” Sirius had kissed him, sealing the promise. And if Remus tried hard enough he could remember the taste of Sirius’s lips, the feel of his hands in Remus’s hair, the soft beating of Sirius’s heart against his own. The heart that would never beat again. The hands that would never feel again. The lips that Remus would never get to kiss again. And the promise that would become a distant memory, an old dream that would never come true.

Could anyone grace me with any Wolfstar fics where Remus or Sirius has a boyfriend and the other has to deal with it and wait?
It’s such a good plot, angsty af and I just know the smut would be great.
