I finished Season 3 last night and can't get over how the writers wrote Zarkon and Honerva's realtionship. It was so passionate and true and genuinely one of the best relationships of the show.

Villain couples are perfect when done like this.

The fact that Zarkon did everything in his power to save his wife, even dying together-- My god, my heart swelled up.

But shoutout to the first team Voltron, you really believed that shoving a sword into a hole would close it? Were you guys born yesterday?

And at Season 8, Episode 2, the writers give us an actual retcon.

Honerva was pregnant before she died and became Haggar. Is it because the writers wanted Lotor and Allura to be the same age? They would have been adults regardless.

I'm in a bit of a joky mood, so I basically just thought of my Voltron OC giving Honerva a sandwich so she could have enough energy to fix the damn multiverse.

Allura's not dead.

I'm still bothered by that ending.
