but actually it is extremely funny seeing flyers beats bewildered about the jamie/cam content not getting any legit traction because it really shows trevor z was the driving force behind the anaheim bromance angle. perf combo of playing it smart/recognizing an opportunity when you see one and real genuine fondness of each other like you can’t fake that or force and trevor z understood the assignment like no other!

"so it kinda just hit me all at once that the mullet was for me" - Trevor Zegras and the story of the mullet
AD: Let's get started first with Trevor Zegras. Trevor Zegras joins us now on Ducks Stream. Trevor, the hair, the mullet, when did you cut it?
TZ: ummm, probably about a month ago.
AD: What, why? What’s the inspiration?
TZ: it’s grown since then, it was probably a little tighter on the top and the sides. The inspiration was is that it’s really hot in the summer and anything that I was doing that I enjoyed doing, I didn’t love having so much hair on my head, but I always grow it out for the hockey season, cause I like when it comes out the back of the helmet, so it kinda just hit me all at once that the mullet was for me and um the fact I haven’t done it earlier was actually very surprising, um because it’s perfect. It’s long in all the right places, you wear a hat, there’s nothing on the sides, with the helmet on it feels like you have short hair but you still have the flow coming out the back, so um we’re calling it the skill guy mullet. Ryan Strome and Vatrano, they have the grinder mullet.
AD: I was looking at their hair, but they had hats on so I wasn’t sure. I wasn’t sure if you’d show up with a hat or not.
TZ: I wasn’t allowed to, they took all my hats. Yea they said the mullet, we’re debuting the mullet so.
