A bit late but what if twst mc had their heart broken on their homeworld and doesn't believe someone can love them.

So in a nutshell mc had bit of crush on someone in their homeworld but when they confessed they rejected them rather harshly. So skip to when they get transported to twst they make friends with ace and duce and go on crazy adventures. They also befriend the other dorm leaders/dorm mates and get really close to them. The twst boy of your choosing ends up developing feeling towards the mc, and wants to confesses to them. Eventually they get the mc alone and confesses to them their feeling.

The mc is quite at first, before they start laughing kinda awkwardly and say it isn't funny to say stuff like that, and warning them that they can hurt someone like that. Confused, they explain they aren't joking about their feelings and wouldn't hurt anyone like that. They ask the mc if someone hurt them that way before and the mc says yes.

Quite upset at that response they tell the mc that their feelings are true and they really do care about them, if the character had overbloted they apologize for the misdeeds they comited agents them and tells the mc that their feelings towards them are real and hope that they feel the same way.

It up to you if you'd reciprocate their feelings.

Octavinelle & Scarabia ( Azul, Jade, Floyd, Kalim, and Jamil)

Y/n has been at NRC for a while and she's never hugged anyone (besides grim) until today. Y/n took in a deep breath before walking out the door of the ramshackle dorm with grim on her shoulder. {some are shorter than others}

Azul Ashengrotto: Hug him and he’ll melt into your arms and might start crying so pls do it behind closed doors. Y/n was waiting in Azul’s office for the deal maker, soon enough the door of the office opened “Y/n its good to see you! What brings you to my office today?” Azul asked, walking in before closing the door. Azul trusted y/n enough that he didn’t need to have the tweels in the room with them. Once Azul was close enough y/n hugged him and Azul basically collapsed into her arms y/n felt something wet landed on her shoulder. Azul felt bad he was crying on y/n's shoulder but the hug was nice and well needed. “What do you want in return?” Azul asked as he pulled away from her expecting she wanted something in return “Nothing i just wanted to give you a hug” y/n said with a huff crossing her arms before she walked out of the office waving bye to azul making him shake his head and smile. He did really like the hug though now he’s thinking about what to give y/n in return.

Jade Leech: Hug and run! y/n saw Jade washing dishes in the kitchen, so y/n thought it would be fun so just surprise hug him and that’s what she did. She quietly walked up behind the eel and wrapped her arms around him making him stop moving and with that y/n quickly let go and ran out of the kitchen. Jade watched y/n run out of the kitchen she surprised him, the jade leech he was impressed. He will get Y/n back, that's a promise.

Floyd Leech: This can go two ways depending on his mood if he's in a bad mood he’ll probably grunt as y/n hugs him before patting her head before wanting to be let go but will come running for a hug later or if he’s in a good mood y/n isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, his shrimpy hugged him for the first time this eel is excited now he’s going to hold you until he’s bored. As y/n ran out of the kitchen she saw Floyd looking down, she knew the two ways this would end but she still wanted to hug him. Y/n walked up to him “hi floyd you alright?” y/n asked Floyd quickly looked down at her “hi shrimpy just a bad day” he huffed “do you want a shrimpy hug?” y/n asked expecting him to say no but he lit up like a firework before picking her up and spinning her around “oh shrimpy!!!” Floyd happily yelled y/n just laughed as she hugged him. Everyone in the mostro lounge was thankful for y/n because now floyd was in a better mood. Y/n got ALOT of free food to take home that day.

Kalim Al-Asim: Just hold your arms out when you see him he’ll come running. Y/n was walking through the halls when she saw Kalim and Jamil “Y/n!” Kalim yelled waving at her with a big smile making y/n smile back at him and she opened her arms Jamil looked shocked and Kalim looked excited before he started running towards her very excitedly. He ran full force into her arm laughing the entire time. Once they pulled away from each other y/n saw Jamil had walked over to them.

Jamil Viper: Before Jamil could say anything y/n hugged him as well making him freeze before he hugged her back. Y/n did hug him a second longer than she hugged Kalim so Jamil was really happy and petty about the hug.

STAYING IN TWISTED WONDERLAND

Y/n signed as she paced around her living room, stressing about the meeting with all of her friends this afternoon. {flashback to monday} Crowley had finally gotten off his lazy butt and found her a way home, “I'll give you until next monday to decide, and to say goodbye” Crowley said as he waved y/n out of his office. As y/n stood outside his door, her mind was racing so many thoughts ran through her head, she had just been adopted by crewel only a few days ago and she hadn't told anyone yet. Y/n slowly walked to her fathers classroom, even though it's her choice and she has her heart set on one answer she would still like her fathers opinion. After a few minutes y/n had found herself infront of her fathers classroom door, before slowly reaching up to knock on the door. “Enter” her fathers voice said behind the classroom door, which she slowly opened the door and stepped in before shutting the door behind her silently “ah hello pup! I was going to track you down after I got done grading these tests, I want to take you shopping!” Crewel said with a smile as he looked up from the paper he was grading, y/n pulled up a chair “papa i need to talk to you about a conversation Crowley and I just had” y/n said as she sat down “ Do i need to get violent with a crow?” crewel asked putting his pen down, y/n laughed slightly before shaking her head “not today papa” y/n replied Crewel turned his chair to face his daughter he gently took her hands in his “what’s wrong pup?” Crewel asked his voice filled with concern y/n took a deep breath before speaking “Crowley found a way for me to go back to my world, he’s giving me until next monday to decide” Y/n felt Crewel freeze up she looked up at her father to see his gray eyes wide and started to fill up with tears. Crewel lowered his head “the choice is yours i’ll be happy for you no matter what.” Crewel spoke with a shaky voice. “Dad I have a week to decide I'm not going to tell my friends until Sunday but-” y/n started before leaning and whispering into crewel's ear. Crewel gasped tears falling from his eyes before hugging her tightly. {end of flashback}

The week went by like normal y/n went to unbirthday partys, Spelldrive tournaments, helping out at the Mostro Lounge, helping jamil prepare for parties kalim threw, suffering with epel as Vil rants as rook chuckles behind them, gaming with Idia,Ortho and Lilia, Pranking sebek with ace and grim, falling asleep beside silver under a random tree, and late night walks with malleus. Sunday had finally came around faster than y/n was ready for but today was the day so y/n had gone around to all of her friends telling them to come by the ramshack tonight at 5pm, telling them it was very important and EVERYONE needed to be there.

Grim yelling y/ns name had brought her out of her thoughts “y/n! Henchmen someone at the door!” grim yelled y/n quickly went to the door and opened it seeing everyone heck even Idia was here in person “Yall came!” y/n smiled as she opened the door wider as she stepped aside welcoming everyone in “of course shrimpy!” Floyd said as he picked her up and brought her in for a tight hug y/n laughed as floyd carried her to the living room as everyone else followed in close pursuit. Soon everyone was seated in the living room looking at y/n who was standing in the middle of the room “so child of man I’m happy to be included, but why have you called us here all of a sudden?” Malleus asked y/n sighed “ok i have something important to tell all of you but i need you all to promise to stay quiet until i am done ok?” y/n said looking at all her friends Everyone nodded agreeing with her terms y/n took a deep breath before looking at all her friends before starting to speak “so on monday crowley called me into his office and he had told me he had found a way for me to go home and he gave me until monday aka tomorrow to make my decision” everyone froze and stared at y/n with wide eyes “I didn’t want to stress anyone out so i didn’t tell anyone about it, i wanted this week to be normal.” y/n had sat down beside a tearful grim “and i wanted you all here to hear what i had decided” y/n said looking at her friends everyone was looking down ready to be heartbroken “I’m staying here” y/n said with a smile “WAIT WHAT?!” Everyone yelled y/n laughed “Professor Crewel and I had this conversation on Monday grim and I will be living with him because he had adopted me last friday.” y/n said hugging grim “i already wanted to stay here i guess i just needed more of a secret push from you all” y/n said ace got up and walked over to her “You jerk! You worried everyone!” ace growled as he punched y/n in the arm y/n just laughed. Everyone was happy y/n was staying, everyone took turns hugging y/n. She was staying in twisted wonderland because of them.

1.3k words, fluff, pre-relationship

DON’T Imagine…that for once you didn’t have to worry about overblots or whatever latest shenanigans your friends had gotten up to. Everyone was in their own little bubbles, even Grim who had pounced on the chance to attend a Heartslabyul tea party. For once, there was only peace and you couldn’t be more relieved. You decide to take a leisurely stroll through the halls of NRC. Why not? You could stand to learn more about the place that you call home now. (You wonder if it will be that way indefinitely.)

Don’t think about peering into the science classroom while being sucked into the vortex that was your own thoughts and finding Jade shouldering on hiking gear. The equipment was bulky yet swung across his back effortlessly as he took stock of his stuff. You spot a lantern peeking from the side of his overcoat and a compass on a backpack strap. You blink and realize this must be the “Mountain Lovers” Club that Jade himself had told you about in passing. You recall that conversation with a weird fondness. Jade Leech was most certainly a man to be wary of—that was a fact without question. But, in the moment you showed interest in his little club: you saw his eyes shine with a wholesome joy. That is not a passion a person could fake, you were sure of it.

“Prefect? Can I help you?”

Oh, certainly do not think about how you were caught staring. Jade’s eyebrow crooks upward with the beginnings of a crooked smirk creeping up his face. You clear your throat and ask where he was going. Try not to think about how you feel like you walked in on something intimate. Don’t, because your face is warm. You don’t miss the way his face brightens ever so slightly under the usual mask of cunning.

“Ah. I am heading to the mountains. It is a little ways from the school gate, and yet I have yet to scale it. I wish to correct that today.” You hum in response. It wasn’t like you had much else to do today, and Jade wasn’t bad company—to you at least. It was hard to tell with him; like any day now could be the day the other shoe drops. You know that. And yet, you ask to join him.

“You…Want to?” He says, the shock written all over his face. It shifts back just as quickly as it came into the Jade’s usual polite expression. “Fuhuhu…I would not want to turn you away after you asked so nicely after all. “

In a few hours, you and Jade were well on your way up the mountain. The journey was mostly quiet as the two of you walk side by side absorbing the peacefulness into your very bones. Sunlight streams through leaves above you and warm your skin, the chittering of woodland birds becomes the soundtrack, and the crunching of sticks accent your footfalls. Interspersed among beats of comfortable silence was Jade’s stops to examine mushroom specimens for his terrariums.

He halts you with a hand on your wrist for one of these stops(don’t think about how it stops your heart singlehandedly) and crouches to a mushroom though it looks to you much more like an open pomegranate. “A ‘Bleeding Tooth’,” Jade says with a hushed awe in his voice, “It secretes a thick red liquid—hence the name. Despite that, it is completely nonpoisonous. What a most fascinating specimen.” The name was indeed scary sounding. You crouch down next to Jade for a better look, and you can’t help but agree with wonder.

There is a pause. As you look at this most strange looking growth, Jade peers at you. “Creepy. Is it not?” He says nonchalantly. You blink up at him. He looks back with a glint in his eye that you feel as familiar. You just can’t quite recall from where. But it makes you feel wrong inside. “Mushrooms are a particularly extraordinary part of land ecosystems,” He continues, “They do not hunt or hide. But they will be the ones to dispose of all life eventually and make it anew. And if something, or someone, were to stop them…well there’s been enough proof of its power.”

Ah. You remember now. His yellow eye draws you in like an angler fish draws in prey. You cannot help but liken this scene to when you first met Jade in the Coral Sea—when he was swimming circles around you and merely toying with his food.

“It is a little scary, is it not?” Jade Leech says again. You stare. And Jade stares back. Something in the back of your mind supplies the nature of Jade’s unique magic to you. It does nothing to stifle the tension in the air that threatens to suffocate you. You wonder, if there was any part of Jade that wanted to make you bleed like the mushroom he so admired.

“Not really.” You reply as you turn back to the fungi. Jade makes a tilt of his head. “Really, now?” You nod. “I mean, that’s how they survive, right? They grow in bright colors and weird shapes to make sure they can live. It’s not like we can fault them for that,” You point to the oozing mass in front of you both, “Isn’t that what every living thing wants? And it’s pretty important that they decompose stuff, since it recycles nutrients. If anything, doesn’t it make them pretty essential?”

You look over at Jade again: “They don’t tend to hurt the living unless somebody decides to mess with it. And some don’t have any effects at all. It’d be weird to lump them all together like that.”

Jade stares. And you stare back. Something imperceivable happens within his mind and you find yourself wishing you could peer inside. He smiles. “I knew bringing you along would be most fruitful.” And he stoops down to take the Bleeding Tooth with him.

You’ve been walking for a few hours at this point. The two of you chat more freely now after that little pitstop. You find yourself slowing as you hike higher and higher up the mountain: apparently you severely misjudged the fitness and experience required for such a journey. Your hiking partner’s mirth in his eyes cannot be overstated and you shoot him a look. He plays it off masterfully with a faux offended look that you would even say such a thing. You nudge his side. He laughs. Despite his ribbing, he lends you his hand to pass the rougher terrain. Do not think about how your fingers lace perfectly against each other. Do not think about how when you make it across the felled tree in the way; Jade takes a few seconds longer than necessary to pull away.

At last, the you two make it to the top and the view was worth your pain and more. It was gorgeous: the sun casting hues of orange, yellow, and pink as it sets across the vastness of the mountain below you. Every tree and bush looked like strokes of a paintbrush on the ethereal work of art. You turn excitedly to Jade at your side to point out the way the clouds frame the scene—and are met with his expression examining your own. You dared not put a name to it, but it made your heart race in a way you didn’t know it could. Do not even think about classifying Jade’s expression as “fond” or god forbid “admiring.”

Because then, it would mean your heart would be as good as his.

I've got a Octavinelle shenanigans fanfic concept floating around in my head where MC realizes they may have gotten love potion'd by someone and goes to Octavinelle for help. Jade suggests they "verify" it by making Floyd drink the rest. Basically the culprit gets pinned by a feral, love-potioned Floyd and learns to absolutely never pull that shit again. The purpose of this fanfic would be zero shipping vibes but full Octavinelle chaos.

"You are... quite endearing, when you're half-asleep, I have to admit." Azul sighed out, looking on with fond eyes at the panther cuddled into his side.

It wasn't a usual sight - in fact, it was quite abnormal. The only reason that the two of them were in this position was because Yuujirou had volunteered to help out at the Lounge after hearing they were having some struggles with new hires from the Tweels, though he wasn't... the best, at it.

No, alright, that was an overstatement.

Yuujirou was absolutely terrible as a waiter. And as a chef. And even as a busser. He wasn't any good at anything, here. He clearly wasn't made for it.

At some point, Azul had to send him back to his office with an excuse of needing help sorting some contracts. Thankfully, that, he was at least okay at. The octo-mer knew it was kind of him to volunteer and appreciated that, truly, but he just... didn't know how to deal with him.

Surely, he could eventually be taught, but not right now. And certainly not in the middle of the rush they were in earlier.

"Mm?" The panther give a little chuff of interest, nuzzling his head into Azul's side as purrs started to rumble through his frame. "Warm..."

It's with a huffed out breath and warm cheeks that he smooths his hand over Yuujirou's head, running his fingers through his hair and smiling when he heard his purrs kick up louder.

Relaxing into the moment and how... comfortable, the scene made him feel, Azul starts lowly humming and watching as the hybrid drifted off fully.

If only he could stay like this forever...

“Hey, let me take care of you today.”

You start, fixing the stressed Azul in front of you a look. He had been busy all day, doing something or another for an event at the Lounge - a profitable one, you were sure, but you couldn't help but hate how he sacrificed his health for these things.

He looks like he’s about to protest, expression screwing up in distaste, but you pose an interruption by continuing before he can.

“Don’t give me that look. I don’t want anything in return. Just let me take care of you. Please?”

Azul sighs in defeat, and just barely lets himself relax a bit. Barely. Exactly what you're looking for, and you know that you've won for today.

“Fine… if you really want to, my dear. You really don’t need to, though, you know. I’ve already gotten this far.”

“And? That doesn’t mean you don’t deserve to rest every now and again.” You counter, giving him a look that tells him that he won’t be getting out of this. Especially not just after agreeing.

It’s with gentle hands that you coax him out of his office chair, trailing your hands over his shoulders and gingerly guiding him to the couch in his office. You sit beside him, and just as carefully, you prompt him to lay his head on your lap.

“Darling…” Azul lets out a lovely sigh when you start to brush your fingers through his hair, slowly but surely turning into putty in your hands. His eyes blink closed, and you’re satisfied as you see him visibly relax.

At least, for now, you can do something.

‘...How the hell did I ended up here?’

The prefect observed her surroundings, the party was albeit too elegant for her taste, scratch that she downright doesn’t wanna be there.

It all started earlier that afternoon, nothing out of the usual happen except for the fact that Floyd sprinted towards her direction faster than a magift disc.

‘Ne shrimpy~ Your invited to an exclusive party at the Monstro Lounge tonight~!’

‘...I decline-‘ ‘There’ll be blueberry cheesecake waiting for you shrimpy~!’

‘Oh, now I remeber why I agreed to come’ an exasperated sigh escaped her lips as she boredly swung her glass. Her other hand was gripping the side of her dress, paying no mind to it getting creased. Now that she thought of it, the dress was from sam’s shop, she only mentioned once about needing one for emergencies, so when she woke up the next day to see one on his counter, it was odd but nevertheless helpful.

“Oya, why is our guest of honor standing here all alone?”

Said girl didn’t need to turn around to greet the so called gentleman, her glassy eyes merely side eyed him before a small smirk danced on her lips.

“Ah hello Jade-senpai, nice seeing you here”

“Same to you as well prefect, are you enjoying the party so far?”

The teal haired 2nd year already knew the answer, the question was more out of courtesy rather than concern.

“Honestly, I’d rather be at ramshackle dorm fighting with grim rather than be at this ghastly party”

“Oya oya~ your going to hurt the host’s feelings if he herd you say that.”

“Well, it’s not like he’s doing this out of genuine congratulatory courtesy. That much I can tell.”

“Oh my prefect, you’re usually more observant than this, haven’t you noticed the lack of fighting you and azul had over the last few weeks?”

“And is that supposed to convince me of his conniving nature? Surely you yourself know how I’m not easily swayed senpai.”

“Oh yes, your definitely not easily swayed, you did come to this party out of the so called goodness of your heart and not because of the cheesecake correct?”

“Did I hit a nerve-“ “Shut it senpai I was hungry..”

He lot out an amused chuckle before taking the prefect’s drink away, placing it on one of the loung’s many tables.

“You know...as the guest of honor, you shouldn’t just stand here against the wall looking like a wallflower”

“I don’t even know many people here”

The calm and jazzy music transitioned into a waltz like beat as multiple people went to the middle of the room.

“Well you do know me prefect, say... it’s been a few weeks since we’ve last exchanged information, why don’t we discuss it over a waltz hm?”

The teal haired gentleman extended his hand to the prefect, beckoning her to join him in their usual exchange. The soft light of the lounge illuminated her amused expression as she carefully raised her hand.

Not many people were aware of their...unique relationship. Sure they were usually on opposite sides of the spectrum, but one observant mind can acknowledge another. Only few know of their weekly meetups to discuss the happenings around school. Contrary to belief, these little meetups were very beneficial to both parties as it not only provides new data to the other, but also a small breather to the hectic school life they’re thrown into. So with a sadistic smile, the prefect took his hand and away they went to the dance floor.

Not even sparing a glance at the silver haired dormhead that was about to approach said prefect.

“...Floyd why did you change the music too early?”

“Ne~ I’m just following orders”
