as someone who enjoys reading emeto and snz, could u write a fic with both? maybe for yoongi? i dont know what scenario, sorry.

Yoongi has never been this congested in his life. Blowing his nose has stopped working and he sneezed too many times during a meeting that all the members were sent home. The rapper was grateful for the break but he had songs to produce, not that a single thought could get past his head with how stuffy he feels.

"H-h-hESH'ew.." Hoseok looks at Yoongi sympathetically. Yoongi kicked everyone else out of his room but Hoseok somehow made his way in. He's holding a tray with some soup (made by Jin), tea, more tissues and medicine of course. "Hey, hyung. Jin-hyung says you gotta eat all of the soup or he's gonna take away your laptop." Hoseok explains, handing Yoongi the bowl of home made soup.

Yoongi can't even breathe through his nose and mumbles a groggy, "t'anks Hoba.." he eats the soup slowly, and Hoseok peers over at him lovingly. "Does it taste bad or something? What's with that frowny face?" Hoseok teases, delicately running fingers through Yoongi's hair in a soothing manner. "Head hurts." Yoongi replies, continuing to sip soup off his spoon.

Hoseok tuts, grabbing medicine off the tray. "Take two of these, since you've eaten something. They should work within about 30 minutes." Hoseok hands Yoongi some water. He pops the pills and blows his nose again, chucking it into the half full bin next to his bed. "Keep eating, hyung but I'm gonna let you be. Jungkookie wants me to work out with him." Hoseok smiles, recalling Jungkook's begging to get him to come to the company gym.

Yoongi's mouth curls upwards, "thanks Hoba, enjoy." Yoongi says, now almost three quarters finished the soup. Hoseok pats Yoongi's foot through the blanket and leaves the room, switching the light off to the elder's pleasure.

With the soup finished and after blowing his nose at least 4 more times, the ache in Yoongi's head is still persisting and his stomach is starting to feel uneasy, and not because of the soup. The rapper has been trying to fall asleep, in the darkness of his room it shouldn't be that hard, yet there he is. Wrapped up in blankets and hugging his stomach.

It had been around an hour and a half since Hoseok left and now Jimin comes trailing into Yoongi's bedroom. Jimin is about to retreat because he thinks Yoongi is fast asleep, that is until he hears a horrible sneeze and moan come from the lump in bed. Jimin stands frozen as Yoongi blows his nose and picks up the bin half full with tissues to—gag into it..?

"Are you okay, Yoongi-hyung??" Jimin says, beginning to stroke up and down Yoongi's back. He hugs the bin, gagging again and spitting out excess saliva. Jimin flicks the bedside lamp on and Yoongi's paler than normal features are highlighted along with his pink Rudolf-looking nose.

"My stomach doesn't feel good, Jimin-ah.." Yoongi says, throat clenching around a heave. Jimin rakes Yoongi's long hair out the way just in time for him to bring up a wave of Seokjin's soup. It looks too much like it did when Yoongi first consumed it and it makes him feel sicker. "Oh, hyungie.. you'll feel better once you're empty." Jimin coos, praying that someone else comes and finds them because at this rate, Jimin is horriblely worried. Yoongi just has a cold, right? Why is he throwing up?

Jimin shoots Seokjin a quick text, 'can you please help? Yoongi-hyung is throwing up :(((' he pockets his phone just as Yoongi pukes again. Jimin pats the elder's back, trying to block out the distinct smell of puke but alternatively can't imagine leaving his hyung alone like this.

The patter of Seokjin's feet quick on their hardwood floors is music to Jimin's ears. "Oh, Yoongi-ah... you poor thing." Seokjin croons, walking over and beginning to massage Yoongi's nape. The rapper is thankful and fast to lean into the oldest' touch. A wave of calm washes over Jimin, but he tenses slightly when Yoongi reels forward with a productive heave.

Seokjin eyes the bowl on Yoongi's bedside table and hums approvingly when he finds it empty of his delicious soup. At least he knows that's not the reason Yoongi's sick. "He'll be okay, Jiminie." Seokjin eases the dancer just a little, continuing to rub Yoongi's back and hold his hair.

Yoongi spits and Jimin hands him some water. "Small sips, Yoon." Seokjin comments and Yoongi complies, water soothing his throat and diluting the taste in his mouth. Yoongi palms his stomach with a grimace, "think 'm done." The rapper says, sniffling. Jimin offers a tissue to which Yoongi blows his nose and adds it to the bin.

"Stomach hurting, Yoongi-hyung?" Jimin ponders, while Seokjin whisks away to clean the bin. Yoongi lays back down in bed, nodding weakly. "I'll go get you a heat back, hyung–" Jimin turns to leave but a cool hand grips his wrist.

"Jimin.. can you stay?" Yoongi mumbles, if he didn't say it then it might’ve never came out. "Oh, of course, hyung!" Jimin grins, taking advantage of Yoongi's request for affection and joining Yoongi in his bed. "Get some rest, Yoongi-hyung." Jimin whispers, flicking the lamp off.

Jimin shuffles closer to Yoongi, their bodies pressed together under the covers. Yoongi felt calmness wash over him just at the comforting presence of Jimin, something unique to the dancer. The pain and discomfort in his stomach was still there, and his nose is congested, but tiredness weighs over his whole body.

Jimin could feel the warmth coming off of Yoongi, no doubt a fever. Seokjin comes back in quietly to return the now clean bin, "sleep well, you two." The eldest smiles, exiting the bedroom. Yoongi can hear whispers of conversation and laughter from their living room, probably Jungkook and Hoseok returning from the gym. Yoongi's stomach gurgles, reminding him of his motive to fall asleep.

Jimin's small hand moves from Yoongi's waist to his stomach, starting some light circles. For the first 20 minutes, it's comforting for the older, however the gurgling and relentless nausea isn't letting up. Yoongi gives in to a few deep breaths, trying to see if he can cope. He rolls onto his back, staring up at the ceiling. Jimin is watching him like a hawk, lips downturned in worry. "You okay, hyung?"

Yoongi starts to sit up when mucus runs down his throat, prompting a closed mouth gag. Before he can make a mess, Jimin swipes the bin up, sticking it under Yoongi's mouth. He starts to empty what's left in his stomach, mostly bile and water. He coughs and Jimin has to pass another tissue so Yoongi can blow his nose again. He continues rubbing Yoongi's back just like Seokjin did and murmurs words of comfort.

"Sorry, you'll have to clean it again.." Yoongi sighs, voice hoarse from the ordeal. "Don't worry about it, hyung. I can leave this in the bathroom and get you something else, are you still feeling sick?" Jimin asks, concern clear in his voice. Yoongi shakes his head weakly, "I'm okay. Just sore, thank you Jiminie." Jimin takes the bin and eases the rapper to lay down again. Jimin leaves the bin in the bathroom to deal with later and returns quickly.

"Night, Yoongi-hyung." Jimin snuggles up to the elder. "I'll always look after you."

♡Bts emeto and caretaking headcanons/scenario I can see happening ♡

First post so I thought i would try this, enjoy :)

🌸Seokjin

- Hiccups a lot when he’s nauseous.

- hiccuping makes his whole body jolt which triggers his stomach more.

- The closer the hiccups become, the closer he is to vomiting.

- Is a bit dramatic when he’s sick, just wants affection.

- It took a while however for him to be open about being sick. Since he’s the oldest at first he felt like he had to be the strong caretaker.

- Now loves the attention he gets when sick.

- If Jungkook is looking after him, he still tries to play around with him (I can see him laying down and moaning sm like ‘Jungkook what would you do if your Hyung dies from this’ very dramatically.)

- frequently sweats when he’s close to puking.

- a strong believer in herbal teas being a cure to nausea, makes the others drink it straight away if they are ill.

- his puking is harsh, it’s neck vian popping, loud reaches, not many breaks between rounds(it’s why he didn’t want to be caught being sick when the group first started.)

- says ‘fuck’ right before vomiting.

- if he can sense one of the members are sick but hiding it, he will ask a lot of questions to get them to accidentally expose themselves (he’s excellent at it and is successful every time.)

- Sleep, sleep, SLEEP!

- spends the majority of being sick sleeping.

- Turns the members into his person teddy bear when he’s tied.

- becomes the teddy bear if one of the other members are sick.

- gets protective around the sick members if it’s in a public space. (Backstage at an award show, getting hair and makeup done etc.)

- Will stay near them, sho anyone off unless it’s Important, gives them massages and reassures them. (Can also see Yoongi doing this)

-likes to play rain or wave music to help the sickie fall asleep.

🌸Yoongi

- Gets drowsy when sick.

- If he’s sick he won’t tell anyone. Not because he wants to hide it but because talking uses energy.

- If he’s not working he will quietly sit next one of the members and just wait for them to notice he is sick and give him affection.

- Rather than verbally answer where he doesn’t feel good, he’ll point to his head to signal he has a headache or pat his stomach with a sad face if it’s upset, stuff like that.

- If he’s busy he’ll refuse to admit he’s sick then or will play it off like,

- “Yeah I threw up, but I only threw up once.” And continue to try work.

- If the shedcual is busy he’ll try push members away to not spread what ever he has.

-Perfect with body language, one look at he can read if someone is feeling sick.

- If he can sense the member is trying to hide being sick he’ll quietly take care of them,

- Will sit in silence and hold their hand or just rub their tummy out of nowhere.

-Is a stomach rub enthusiast.

- sick? Good time for a stomach rub! Just ate? What a good time for a stomach rub! Stomach? RUB!

-has the most comfortable bed out of anyone in the dorm, he’ll let who ever is sick share it with him.

- It’s pretty widely agreed upon, but he has a hoard of medicine, all categorised, has multiple brands, liquid and pill form, multiple flavours of liquid and is constantly up-to-date on expirations and re stocking.

-Def bloats a bit when his tummy gets upset.

- the others find it cute.

- Burpy when nauseous.

- everyone including himself thought he would he a quiet, gentle puker, but it all comes up really fast with no breaks for him to catch his breath. It gets overwhelming really fast.

🌸Hoseok

- He definitely will get a bit nauseous watching someone else throw up, but I feel like he’s not that much of a sympathetic vomiter.

- Gets seasick, not even tablets can save him.

- as soon as he feels something wrong in his stomach, no matter how small he’s taking medicine, sits in front of the toilet waiting to be sick, reads about every sickness that contains nausea.

-His whole face flushes, tell-tale sign something isn’t right.

- becomes clingy and mopey when sick.

- Likes his stomach being rubbed if it’s sore but prefers it to not be touched if he’s nauseous. Slight pressure will make everything come back up.

- however he loves rubbing the other members stomachs, even for his own comfort he’ll do it.

-Has special nicknames for each member when they are sick or sad and uses baby voices when he speaks to them.

- groans a lot when he is under the weather, grunts as well.

- he hates more that when he’s sick he’ll have to rest and not move much more than being sick and the symptoms that come with it.

- the dorm feels weird when he’s sick since he is the biggest mood maker of the group.

- Vomits if he watches anything too gorey and gross.

- Fear makes him nauseous.

🌸Namjoon

- finds it very awkward to admit he’s sick.

- will not let sickness get in the way of his work.

- the members have to force him out of the studio, it’s happened that much they have created a whole strategy on how to remove him from his studio when sick.

- He gets painfully feverish when sick, makes him much more clumsy and tired.

- His hands shake a lot when he’s sick, so other members have to spoon-fed him medicine and his food.

- The rest of Hyung line serectly love babying him when he’s sick, they feel it’s the only time they get to look after him.

- He’s pretty calm when sick, he’s very ‘my body will do what it needs to do’

- doesn’t panic if he’s about to vomit, kinda welcomes it if it’s not a bug or food poisoning.

- Gets bad stress migraines.

-Will still work, however.

-Has been found crying with how bad his head was hurting while still writing lyrics.

- He’s very sensitive to light when he’s sick

- Has the strongest stomach in the group.

- If he has to clean up any of the member’s vomit, he won’t be disgusted at all, rather he feels sympathy for whoever it was.

- really good at comforting the members when they are sick, is great at convincing them to not feel guilty about it.

- forces the member’s to drown in vitamins when they get sick.

- his stomach never makes a peep, the only time it will make noise is if he’s starving or sick or he ate something really heavy or greasy.

- not much of a self stomach rubber, he will pat his chest more likely if he’s queasy.

- if he knows it will be a vomit once type of situation, he’ll go to a bathroom and push his stomach on purpose or bend over fast to get out and over quicker.

🌸Jimin

- Is open about being sick, he knows he’s a shit liar.

-Very pouty and sluggish.

- will pout at a member until they start rubbing his stomach.

- if he bloats it’s the only time he will refuse his stomach being touched because he gets insecure about it.

- alot of foods disagree with him, it’s rare that he’ll eat those foods but sometimes his cravings win.

- Though I don’t see him having that much of a sensitive stomach, I do agree he gets motion sickness.

- Also hiccups a lot when he’s close to throwing up, they are very squeaky and small but hurt like a bitch.

- Panics when he’s about to vomit, makes him feel worse from how much he stresses himself out.

- very ‘oh god I’m going to be sick.’

- cries every time he throws up and often cries before he vomits.

-His stomach is talkative.

- Though I see it being the loudest when it’s digesting.

- ‘oh did you hear that?’ That was my stomach.’

- he will talk back to the member’s tummies if they make any noise.

-also talks back to his own stomach.

- needs to be around the members if they are sick.

- has caught multiple bugs from the others, but he just wants to make sure they are alright

- cuddles, lots of hugs and kisses and touching when they are sick.

- he is really clingy when sick, but if someone else is sick he will stick to them like glue. Will even sit with them while they use the bathroom to make sure they don’t throw up or faint while no one is there to comfort them.

- sometimes cries if the member is really down.

🌸Taehyung

- tries to hid being sick.

- Has hidden being sick to simply see if anyone would notice.

- Everyone catches on quickly, he can’t keep his hand away from his stomach, goes 10 shades paler and his stomach gets loud and that gives him away instantly.

- he has the most sensitive stomach, it’s not that hard to upset it.

- even colds get his stomach going.

- bloats terribly when he’s nauseous or has a stomachache.

- really long build up, can spend hours laying there extremely nauseous but won’t puke, and never pukes once, there’s always a second round.

- his stomach just hates him.

- it’s also pretty loud, no matter what.

- being sick also makes him really dizzy.

- once he gets knocked down the mood shifts since it breaks everyone’s heart to see him so sick. (we all know he’s everyone’s baby)

- N E E D S AFFECTION.

- also he will curl up into someone when sick and that gives away how he’s feeling away.

- has really weird remedies that seem to work on everyone but himself.

- hates the taste of most alcohols, most alcohols also hates him, can bearly keep it down.

- secretly loves getting his stomach rubbed, if his cover has been blown he will pout and whine until someone starts rubbing it.

-Idky but if it’s Namjoon giving him tummy rubs he makes comments on what ever he feel under his palm, (like saying ‘Oh that didn’t feel good.’ ‘Something is definitely not right in there.’)

- Would probably uses softer words like ‘tummy and queasy.’ over stomach and nauseous In english and so would the other members when referring to him.

- Is the best at getting the members to take medicine or to get them to stop working. He just has to pout and whine, and they’ll do whatever he wants. (Same for Jungkook)

-Them two are the secret strategy to get Namjoon to stop working when sick.

-Is an extremely gentle caretaker.

🌸Jungkook

- When the band first started he was extremely quiet about being unwell, (he didn’t want to be a burden, would feel kinda of embarrassed to admit he was sick) but now he’s more open about it, plus all the others members can tell with one look at him if he’s feeling sick nowadays.

- Claims to have an iron stomach but in reality it’s more sensitive than he’ll like to admit.

- strong scents make him dizzy and give him migraines that affect his stomach.

- Can eat a lot but sometimes abuses his stomach with how much he can eat and over does it.

- Also eats really fast so gets stomach aches from that.

- However he has yet to vomit from overeating or eating too fast.

- His hand stays attached to his stomach when sick, if he’s sitting he will hug his tummy.

- Will not admit to his stomach grumbling. As soon as it does he looks away like nothing happened.

- Has a nervous stomach, he’s pretty fearless and adventurous but tests or giving speeches makes it go haywire. (It also gets vocal and once he stat a whole exam with his stomach embarrassingly groaning the whole time.)

- Wants to just sleep. Will neglect taking medicine or drinking water after vomiting just so he can get to bed faster.

- Takes really long warm showers to try get rid of his nausea.

- will steal the others members hoodies and sweaters when he doesn’t feel good. Depending on which member he wants to look after him, he steals their clothing.

- Has a pillow that smells like his childhood room that he only brings out when sick.

- Has taught himself how to cook different soups so he can surprise the members when they don’t feel good, he secretly loves feeding them when they feel bad.

- Doubted his care taking skills at first but after observing how everyone else takes care of each other he’s stolen a lot of what they do.

- The first thing he does when he notices if one of his bandmates is not feeling good is to back hug them and whisper ask if they are feeling alright, doesn’t want to draw attention to them.

open question about writing pnes

i've been writing a fic for a while about a character having a psychogenic non-epileptic seizure due to being under a lot of stress (dan egan s3e7 special relationship iykyk) because i love to project onto characters :) i only have experience with non-epileptic seizures due to serotonin syndrome tho, and i've never had a psychogenic seizure. i've obviously done some reading but its not super easy to find tons and tons of info because its decently rare, so i am reaching out to the tumblr community :)

specific qs below the cut, tw emeto+brain damage

does vomiting happen during pnes seizures

is it possible to get cerebral hypoxia from not breathing during the seizure

is it even possible for it to be a one time thing due to severe stress

can you remember what happened during the seizure/around the time of it

after waking up is there disorientation and if so how bad + for how long
