I promise I'll post some original stuff soon, I've been hitting an art block recently and sprite edits have been the only things I've really been able to do recently.
I'll likely return to real art once I'm done with a self insert spritesheet I've been trying to make.

I traced the image on the right the best I could and colored and shade'd it enough to get the point across (I also used the one on the right as a more clear reference :3)

I hate making call out post and hate drama. This used to be my friend, but they have taken this way to far for my own standards. This must be done.
An artist going by the name of i-make-stuff-i-guess, has been tracing mine and other artist artwork without permission or credit. They have been labeling this art they trace as just “heavily referenced” and that is completely false. They have traced some of my older art that I have made on Instagram back from 2020-2022. Me and many others have tried to tell them to stop, only to be met with being cussed at and our comments being deleted.
They have also gone out of their way to take designs and not even change them in the slightest to at least make it their own thing. All of their Oc refs are either traced from my old work or others ( mainly my work )
Some other artist that have been affected are my friends @/17magpiesinatrenchcoat, @/scarfsfx, @/boompf, @/skytrohero and many others who would like to stay anonymous.
Yang has gone on with this for way too long and it has affected us mentally.
Again, DO NOT HARASS THEM OR ATTACK THEM!! Just report the traced work and block them.
Now, I will be taking a break for the rest of the month. My head hurts, I am beyond mad, and I am losing my will to draw. See you all in August. Please spread this around so no one else is affected by their toxic behavior.
I made an iterator OC for Rain World. :3 AND BEFORE ANYONE SAYS ANYTHING, YES, I USED LTTM's PICTURE AS A BASE!!! I've never drawn robots much before, so I wanted to be safe and have something as an outline first.

This, is Eight Waves Upon A Rocky Shore. This iterator controls a completely different region from the ones in the game, one that I'll flesh out more, but it's home to a beautiful crystalline cavern region, a suburban Ancient development, and an overgrown fungal forest. I'm ass at drawing environments, so it might be awhile before you get to see that.
Anyways, Eight Waves isn't fully fleshed out, but I have the idea of a generally sassy iterator that's into astronomy and the stars that gets bored inside their can and somehow figures out a way to free their puppet to go exploring the world around them while their superstructure operates on an automated plan. Maybe some conflict in her story could come from the inherent danger of separating their interface from their 'body' of sorts, or noticing how her mission will soon become null once the last Ancients die out. Probably not the most original idea, but tbf this OC only popped into my head like, yesterday, and I loved the idea of an iterator getting lonely and literally breaking loose to go explore.
Regarding design, I tried to be funny with wires on their head to look more like braids rather than just long hair in itself. She also wears a black cloak and has a golden glow from the orb on the forehead. Eight Waves was originally going to be pearl white, but blue just looked better to me.
I also think that if I had to place my oc in the timeline, I'd put her right as the last few Ancients were ascending and effectively going extinct, so maybe I'll try to have an encounter between Eight Waves and an Ancient, or an Echo at least.
But other than that, this is all I have for Eight Waves. I might also make a Slugcat OC of my own. I'll also draw better, NOT TRACED art of Eight Waves once I have a solid grasp of their design.
