Getting started on my precious nerds, the Sixth House cav & Necro, CamPal. I spent way too long trying to figure out what Camilla's swords were and ended up going with butterfly swords. They're getting made out of balsa wood and foam as the base, then wrapped in worbla.

Cam wears a back harness for them, so I decided to dip back into leather working to make this thing.

And then there's the robes. They're described as wearing both robes and cloaks but also as practical and cam as a librarian. So...I'm getting experimental with open sided, hooded robe things. Don't know what I'm doing so we'll see how this goes! I'm still trying to figure out what fabric to use too.

The second annual New York Comic Con Locked Tomb Meetup will be held this coming Saturday October 14th at 2-3pm!!

The meetup will be inside the con (so you'll need a ticket!). It will be at the Level 2 South Concourse AKA the Inner Roadway. Near the "Green Entrance South." If you walk out the doors anywhere on that level, look to the right of the food trucks, and you will find everyone. If you came last year: it's in the same exact spot!

Sadly I won't be there--I broke my ankle last week, so my Alecto cosplay will have to be saved for next time. But my friends @eldritchw1tch and @featherbreak will be coordinating things in person at the con! I expect it to be *just a little bit* bigger this time, but who knows! If you're attending the con: hope you can make it.

I filmed all of this during 3 days of intense hyperfixation in October/November 2023, and after much Life Happened, edited it all together in June/July 2024. it is a labor of love, an embarrassing love letter to the more-unhinged-than-she-lets-on codependent cavalier exemplar that is Camilla Hect, and an intense appreciation for the "psychosexual mess of roleplaying and bad meals" that is Nona the Ninth.
