Top 3 ships: That’s a difficult one, I float from ship to ship like a haunted coconut... that sounded a lot better in my head. Well, I’m always a fan of ColdFlash (Leonard Snart/Barry Allen), have been since I was a kid (Captain Cold is my favorite DC villain), and then I’m also really into Geralt/Jaskier from the Witcher, that show has CONSUMED me, and I’m also a big Anakin/Padme / Anakin/Obi-Wan / Anakin/Padme/Obi-Wan (I go all ways on those, my overemotional murder baby deserves love and what do you mean there wasn’t a happy ending, Luke and Leia are being raised by their loving parents who defeated the emperor we obviously didn’t watch the same movie)
Last song: San Quentin by Johnny Cash- I love me the man in black with his Outlaw country
Last movie: I refuse to feel bad about this- 2015 The Peanuts Movie. That movie is one of the only recent Peanuts movies not to just make Charlie Brown as miserable as possible for the audience to laugh at. This one made me tear up because of it’s heartfelt message to all the Charlie Browns out there, I highly recommend it.
Reading: Technically, To Kill A Mockingbird. It’s one of my favorites, and I read one chapter every night before bed to help calm my mind down.

i’m heartbroken and full of pride at the same time.. we knew it had to happen at some point, i just did not expect to have the notification on a random Monday. Im so proud of them for how far they have come, but also devastated that I will be an adult the next time they come together 😭

cryptid falls excerpt (kinda. it’s more the barebones of a future conversation) cause i’ve been writing :D
“You don’t have to say anything. But I’m going to say things. Because I want the illusion of a conversation right now.”
The line stays silent.
“Have you ever gone to America? I know Basira and Andre used to live there but I’ve realised I’ve never asked you.”
I think I hear her inhale sharply. I don’t hear her exhale.
“I don't really know anything about the country. Just that people find fresh starts there.” I pause and take a breath. My voice is quieter than I want it to be. “In theory, at least. I reckon they guess life stories just from the accents.”
There’s shuffling on the other end and the sound of a light switch.
“I think—”
“Phone calls cost more overseas.”
Her voice is monotone and quiet. I take a minute to let the words sink in before saying, “I know.”
“How’s Nikolai?”
“Reckless. And drunk at the moment.”
“Sounds unpleasant.”
“It is.”
“Do you even like him, Nadia?”
I think about it for a moment. Nikolai is loud, extroverted, and has too many friends for me to keep track of. He makes his parents pay for a school he doesn’t even attend and ignores their calls. His apartment is never quiet. His words are charming one minute and annoying the next. He’s the opposite of me and it doesn’t work between us. I don’t think like him at all.
“No,” I whisper. “No, I don’t think I do.”
“Then why America?”
“England makes me nauseous.”
“It didn’t used to.”
“Well it does now.”
