I was once told, that when someone leaves one place to reach another, it is our collective responsibility to make sure they leave in peace because journeys are the best and worst phases of our lives. Journeys are filled with uncertainties, people are alone, ways are haphazard, accident prone and there is high probability of them getting lost. Both literally and metaphorically. So, while it is not possible for us to accompany everyone in their journey, it is definitely feasible to make sure they leave with a smile.
The introvert urge to have a soul person to share everything with, while knowing barely anyone out there deserves to know it all.
I do not know if it counts -outside of tumblr- the mental struggle that I face everyday. The constant fight between the force to race and the force to live. I am not able to do these two simultaneously- race and live. Does this make me weaker than the rest? Or everyone has their own personal battlefields where they put up a strong face while crumpling within.

I love this description of LWJ and how he feels in parallel to himself. But something I feel that wasn’t really noticed but echos in my brain from time to time is the way he looks first at WWX and then down, and then goes to get dressed. That moment of thought I feel is him debating either two things;
The look on WWX face when he sees LWJ’s scars. Perhaps it’s too much for LWJ and so he decides to cover up as to not hurt WWX more in that moment. Or maybe he didn’t want him to get too curious and ask difficult questions he may not want to answer.
The scar on his chest. In The Untamed the brand mark on his chest isn’t really or at all looked into, but I’ve seen so many fan theories that honestly make sense, like (and I haven’t read the novel don’t @ me), LWJ getting drunk post-WWX death and branding himself with the same iron and in the same place as WWX’s because he missed him. And in this moment I actually thought that’s what he was looking and thinking about, like ‘ah shit how am I gonna explain this one’, so he decides to conceal it. But I don’t know that’s just what I thought.
Orrrrrr I’m looking to far into his micro-expressions and it’s just him being like ‘ah, I’m naked’ and getting dressed so he could talk to WWX face to face.
